My friend needed walking boots and Andrew was very knowledgable and helpful, so much so that not only did my friend buy a pair of boots he was really happy with but I also bought a pair, when really I did not need any! Andrew was very patient and really helped to get a pair that fitted me well. Thankyou Andrew.
We also bought torches, an impulse buy.

Aiko was her usual friendly and helpful self. Because of her previous high level of service, I bought my wife in for a pair of walking boots. We found the right ones for her broad feet and she is delighted.

I would like to say how polite and helpful one of your supervisors was today, her name was Kirsty. I am disabled and I couldn't find what I was looking for. She went out of her way to actually guide me to the correct place and advised me on what would be the best for me. Lovely lady

Kirsty really helped me out yesterday when I was looking for a new coat. she provided me with lots of information and knowledge about each piece which made my decision easier. I couldn’t of done it without her.

Great customer service

I went in as I needed some help with what tent to buy for camping as it is a new hobby I am getting in to. I dealt with a lovely worker there called Kirsty. She was super informative and helped me get exactly what I needed for the best value. I cannot rate this store and this staff member enough. Will always be going here for future purchase’s.

Purchase in store was easy, sales assistant really helpful (Ipswich store). I ended up purchasing a size bigger online and to collect from my local store (Colchester). On collection I then wanted to return the smaller size however they refused to accept return as shoes not in a box… I wasn’t sold them in a box!! They insisted I had to return to Ipswich so they could be resold from a rack… I now have to make an hour & half round trip to return!

Excellent service from Aiko. Very knowledgeable about the walking boots I wanted to buy. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Well done.

Great customer service from Mark on 13/01. Only negative is the £5 members renewal card fee, which I feel is very steep especially as Go Outdoors is very expensive to begin with. If you are not a member you pay full price, so a bit of a con really as they have you by the short & curlies. I'm already a member, why do I need to pay to renew a card just to buy clothes? And for that Go Oudoors gets a 3* review. I look forward to their response & how they justify this charge.

I had the pleasure of Andrew helping me today whilst choosing some new trail running shoes. He was very efficient, offering suggestions and finding the right fit. A great service and very happy with the service offered. Nice to still see good old fashioned supportive sales assistants giving their help and knowledge.

Helpful shop assistants that knew their products and took care to make suggestions tailored to my requirements.
