Took a trip to Go Outdoors Coatbridge to buy a new pair of walking boots
Kirsten came to my aid and gave me excellent service and advice resulting with me indeed purchasing the perfect pair of boots Thanks Kirsten 🙂

We were looking to buy all the things we needed for a camping trip with our 2 boys. We knew nothing… haha. The staff at the store were brilliant. They took lots of time with us to help us make our decision and gave loads of good advice - not just knowledgable about the products but also great hints and tips in general. They made the process really easy and I’m confident in the purchases we made and really looking forward to our trip. Emma was super helpful and really knowledge. Kirsteen was also super helpful. I will definitely be going back there for anything we need.

We were helped by Cammy. He was very informative and it was obvious that he had an extensive product knowledge. He was able to provide alternative ideas, and made clear assessments of our choices that made it easier to envisage our camping experience. Fantastic customer service.

Placed an order online on 12th July. Phoned the store on the 22nd, 24th & 26th & was told it hadn’t arrived yet. Called customer service on 27th they advised it was delivered to store on the 15th? Called the store again on 27th to clarify with them to be told it was in fact in store & couldn’t provide a reason as to why I was told numerous times it hadn’t been delivered. Went in to store to collect on the 28th and was told it had been refunded as I hadn’t collected?! So had to purchase my order again which was sitting there the entire time. Stuart & Chloe (I think that were their names!) were really pleasant to me in store but the entire thing was just a shambles & would put me off ordering online again.

Ross in the coatbridge store always an amazing help instore, nothing is a hassle his knowledge is fantastic a credit to the store my go to instore. has helped me with my berghaus air 400 and lots of other products and advice.

The range of equipment is great,But tour biggest asset is your staffI was at the counter taking something back.The girl was seeing to it and I just happened to ask if you sold umbrellas that attached to bbq tables.The till operator behing said if you give me a minute I think I can help ..Next thing I knew Cammy turned up at checkout with the very thing I needed. How is that for first class service.. Unfortunately it didn't fit my spec and Cammy spent 15 mins with me trying to find exactly what I needed.Great member of staff..couldn't do enough to help.I am one very happy customer.I will be a back .A pleasure shopping with you

Absolutely above and beyond customer service from Emma. She helped at short notice to fix tent poles I had - so I didn’t have to potentially cancel my trip which my young kids were so excited about. She manually cut, restrung and fixed 3 sets of my poles - what a skill! And I only had to pay for one new set of poles to repair the others. Great example of repair and reuse as opposed to just having to buy new

Excellent experience I was new to this branch and was in a bit of a hurry. Luckily Senga was able to find exactly what I needed and where it could be found in no time at all. Iwas very impressed.

I had excellent advice and help from Ross. Everything I was looking for was in stock at a price I was happy to pay. I will be back for the rest of my camping and backpacking needs.

Great selection of camping stuff and Karen was particularly helpful in fitting my daughter for walking shoes.

Good selection of ladies waterproof jackets, although would have preferred some lighter colours.

I have visited Go Outdoors in Coatbridge a few times recently to post parcels. On the first occasion, I waited at the Evri desk for over 5 minutes and no one appeared to help me. Then I noticed a sign saying to find a staff member to help! That would have been some trick as there were absolutely NO members of staff around! Eventually I walked all the way back to the checkout, which with mobility issues, was exhausting. There was a queue, and as I had work to go to I called over to the girl to ask if she could get someone for the desk. She snapped at me before I even finished my sentence. Eventually she glared at me, and snarled a question asking what I wanted. In response I was told to go back to the desk and wait. A few minutes later someone did appear, but lack of staffing caused me quite an issue and this female on tills should NOT be in a customer facing role!
On another occasion I went again to send parcels. Same scenario. No one on the desk, no one around. The man waiting there already said he’d been told to come to the desk and had been waiting some time.
I eventually trawled the nearly empty shop floor until I found a staff member. I called, “Excuse me, “ several times, only to have him turn his back, walk off and have me chase him around the store! Eventually catching him I was told he’d be there as soon as he could as he was serving a customer! So, in a huge store like this, it seems one person on the floor is sufficient?
He did eventually arrive to deal with us, but only after another wait.
Apparently, he was the only person working, but I realised as I walked back to the exit later, that there were two members of staff, in uniform, standing near the exit having a chat! Surely if they are in the floor they are there to work?
I will not be going anywhere near this store in future.

Chloe M was extremely helpful and patient as she answered all my questions and stay with me until my purchase was complete. She made my experience a very positive one. Well Done Chloe

I had a great experience in the shop, I was able to have a look around and was offered some help when trying to find what I needed. Karen was very helpful in helping me choose new boots and gave me advice and Georgia was very helping in selecting camping gear and fitted my bag for Me.

Visited today for some new walking boots. Karen was extremely helpful and approachable, giving great advice to get the best fit for our son :) The girl on the till (didn't catch her name but receipt says cashier 008!) was very friendly. Great customer service and knowledge all round!
