Got what I wanted and good service at till

Superb visit to Go Outdoors, Bedford on Tuesday. Danielle is a great asset to the store. She is competent, offers great advice and gives exemplary service.

We managed to source everything we wanted before I spotted an ideal birthday present for my stepdaughter. It was a lovely T-shirt however there was only one in the size she is on the rail and unfortunately had a small stain on the collar. Danielle quickly reacted firstly checking warehouse stock which showed none then attempting to remove the stain herself. She had also called her manager who kindly reduced the T-shirt optimistic I would be able to remove the stain once at home.

Danielle is exactly the kind of staff member that ALL stores should have.

Her willingness to quickly resolve a problem and help a customer at all costs rather than saying ‘there’s nothing we can do’ was above and beyond and made the whole experience very pleasant.
Go Outdoors certainly need to keep her!

Had a good experience and found the customer service very good.
Was helped by a friendly staff member called Brittany who helped me pick out the perfect pair of boots for a hiking trip.

Store is much better than last visit,was better laid out and a lot tidier and well presented, a little issue with membership but was sorted very well by girl on check out.

lovely lady Faith, over and above!!!! didn't know so made an inquiry just for us with a great smile.

So paid for items on click & collect. Arrived at the store only to be told “sorry can’t find the items” this is my 2nd order In a row this has happened. I asked why this was as 3 were showing instock. I didn’t have much faith as he said he had asked someone else who knew what the item was! I asked if I could look which he agreed to and in the corner found 5 bundles of items shrink wrapped up. I went back and said I had found these and was told they had opened those to look in. I advised they couldn’t have as they were still sealed. Reluctantly he went back with me and opened the sealed pack to find the first of 2 items. Opened next pack and found my second item!

Very disappointed in the service

Doing click and collect is supposed to make things easier but it doesn’t. On my previous order I had to wait 5 days for a refund.

Visit the store to get a replacement for a damaged online order. And really glad I did as Merv was fantastic support not only replacing the damaged item
With ease but also help me we buy further equipment I had need but was sure which item to order online. Really can thank him enough Excellent customer service will certainly return again soon.

Great self inflating camping mattress but not suitable for my needs. Return and refund process was very easy.

Visited the Bedford store looking for a camping mattress and Danielle could not have been more helpful. Showed us all options, let us try them out, talked us through prices. Exceptional service

The staff who served me were very helpful and polite. They didn’t have what I wanted, but were willing to help me with ordering online.

First class service from your staff at Bedford today.
Looking for a small camping chair, it was only on display within a tent.Christian a very helpful young man, said that was no problem he would get it packed up and take to the till area. Ethan who was on the till was also a wonderful asset to your company. Young lads today often get a bad press,but these two lads were exceptionally. 10/10 all round.

Just really good customer service from the young person on the checkout. She had trouble finding my membership but handled it like a champ 😊

As soon as we walked in we were welcomed by Faith along with her colleague Alana who both assisted us on where to find the gazebo we wanted. our overall all experience here at bedford store was great and the ladies were very helpful along with Jay who was also great help. Thank you team, we will definetely be back for more camping goods.

We found everything we were looking for the young man got my shoes for me quickly and politely and went through the till with no problems, we will as always be back for more.

Went in the store last weekend in the hope of my husband and I both getting some walking shoes and some camping bits
A man called Callum served us in the shoe department. His customer service was 10/10. He dealt with my husband and I in turn going out the back to get different sizes and brands etc. his knowledge was incredible and he was more than willing to help. He even helped me out with insoles to get the perfect fit. Nothing was a problem to him at all. So if someone in management could please pass on this information to him would make me really happy. There are not many people like callum around in retail ,most people don’t even want to acknowledge you as a customer. But he was exceptional and I work in retail myself so I know this will mean a lot to him. Well done Callum.
