John was super helpful in helping me pick out a replacement boot! I’d explained the issues I was getting with my current boots causing blisters and after learning what had happened he was determined to help me find a good fitting boot that would suit my needs and offered amazingly helpful advice on what products would help me heal whilst still being able to explore during that process.
He was super knowledgeable and his advice was greatly appreciated. His friendly, helpful attitude was very welcomed and I would not hesitate to speak with him again for anything else in future! So looking forward to getting my new boots and socks on and get back out to my adventures!

Nabeil served us when we were looking for walking shoes male and female. He was very helpful, knowledgeable about the products and so very patient. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He was happy to bring out a range of shoes of different styles and sizes constantly, until we made a decision on the right pairs. He was courteous throughout our visit and we were very impressed by him. The service he provided was exemplary and subsequently we bought two pairs of shoes.

Called for some table's I had known idea where to look Mattywas very helpful indeed Mandy on checkout was very polite and cheerful if I need anything else I'll definitely go back

Staff were available at the shoes to get the right size. The staff member on duty couldn't have been more helpful, checking if i needed to try different options and providing advice.

Went into the Go Outdoors store in Bangor on Wednesday to have a look at tents and came back today to actually buy. The staff were fantastic from start to finish — they took the time to help me pick the right tent for what I needed rather than just pointing me at the priciest option.

I ended up going for the Berghaus Air 400 tent, along with the matching footprint and tent carpet, plus a Hi-Gear Hi-Rise foam king size airbed. When I needed a few days to sort my bank out before paying, they kindly held everything for me for three days, no fuss at all.

Really appreciated the patience and genuine advice rather than a hard sell. Would definitely recommend this store and will be back for future kit.

We had a fantastic experience all due to Puck’s wonderful help! We are beginner campers planning a little camping road trip through wales and Puck was so knowledgable and friendly. He took us through all the best options for tents, sleeping bags etc and was very patient and helpful. Thank you Puck!

All the staff were very friendly & helpful. Someone noticed my boyfriend struggling to carry something because of his injured knee and offered to carry the item to the till for him. Puck helped me choose my walking boots. If it weren't for his help I wouldn’t have bought a pair that day as I couldn’t figure out the right fit. He helped me figure out the type of boot I needed for their specific use and best fit to my feet. I’m so grateful, I now have a pair of walking boots that I enjoy wearing. They’re by far the most comfortable boots I’ve owned. Thanks Puck!
