Giveacar is a not-for-profit social enterprise that turns old cars into cash for any UK charity. Donated cars are collected, scrapped or auctioned and proceeds are paid to the donor's chosen charity. The UK's first car donation scheme, Giveacar has won several awards and has now supported over 1,900 charities with the money raised from old cars. Using a nationwide network of breakers yards and salvage partners, we have handled the auction and disposal of over 30,000 vehicles and have raised over £4 million for charities across the UK.

Your support and trust mean everything to us—thank you!"
Stress free service. I was pleased to find a way to…
I was pleased to find a way to ‘dispose’ of my late husbands car with minimum stress. Every one was helpful and everything went according to plan, although I did worry when the car was driven away and I had no paperwork to show for it, and I didn’t have to fill in the DVLA form . I did get an email later in the day and about 4 weeks later a letter from the DVlA asking what had I done with the car because someone wanted to register it.
As I have used this service I would be happy to recommend it to anyone as I could confirm the way the system works. Thank you. Mrs M Easton

Seamless service
Having owned my car for nearly 21 years, I would not have received a good deal for trade in! We decided to use Giveacar as I have a chronic illness and the charity advocating for it isn’t well funded. This was a seamless way to dispose of the car and get some benefit from it. Would highly recommend as the process was simple and I was kept updated at all relevant stages.

It's so easy!!! :-)
This is the second time I have donated a car to Giveacar. It is so easy to do, and instead of just scrapping a car or selling it for a small amount, it's great to choose a charity that will actually benefit from the donation.
The staff are friendly and helpful, and everything is organised within a matter of days. I highly recommend donating an unwanted car to them.
