Ojo con el cambio de tarifas sin avisar! De un año a otro te suben un casi un 400% la tarifa sin avisar.
Soy estudiante y lo usaba de vez en cuando. 15 euros al año estaba bien, pero de pronto me han cobrado casi 60 euros. No emails del motivo, no contestan a mis mensajes de atención al cliente y ni siquiera me quieren decir nada al impugnar a través del banco.
Totalmente desinformado y desamparado. Miren bien si tienen letra pequeña porque yo no recibí ni eso cuando me apunté hace varios años ni en cada renovación. Mi reclamación fue el mismo día del cobro tanto por la devolución y cancelación o al menos por la diferencia de tarifa.
Editado desde este punto: En su contestación indican que me contestaron el mismo día; que me dieron opciones y que no hubo contestación.
He de aclarar que nunca recibí ningún mensaje por su parte. Los únicos correos que he recibido son los de cambio de contraseña.
Revisen bien su protocolo porque o la persona de atención al cliente no lo ha enviado de forma correcta o (porque su mensaje incluye el procedimiento correcto a seguir) con el seguimiento o están confundidos con otro caso.
Sigo a la espera de algún correo (en Spam tampoco tengo nada).

23 Abril he recibido un mensaje de atención al cliente con todas las opciones descritas en su mensaje para atender mi caso. Me han reenviado los mensajes que me enviaron el 10 de abril. Ahora sí me han entrado de forma correcta. Por lo que el problema era en la vía de comunicación que usa Genially, ya que tampoco recibí los correos del cambio de versión ni petición de información. Sin embargo tras escribir en Trustpilot he recibido de forma correcta los mensajes de atención al cliente.

Nos gustaría aclarar con total transparencia lo ocurrido y también transmitirte que en todo momento hemos intentado darte respuesta lo antes posible. Según nuestros registros, te respondimos el mismo día en que contactaste con nosotros, explicándote el motivo del cambio de tarifa y las condiciones asociadas a tu suscripción.
Te informamos de que los planes Student tienen un precio reducido y están destinados exclusivamente a personas que acreditan su condición de estudiantes. Durante el proceso de migración de tu cuenta a la nueva versión de Genially, se te solicitó indicar tu rol o perfil de uso, y en ese momento se seleccionó un perfil profesional. Por este motivo, y tal como se había comunicado previamente por email, la renovación se realizó automáticamente con la tarifa correspondiente a ese perfil.
Aun así, quisimos darte opciones para resolverlo de la mejor manera posible: te ofrecimos la posibilidad de enviar documentación acreditativa si eres estudiante para revisar tu caso y valorar una devolución proporcional, o bien estudiar un posible reembolso total si preferías cancelar la suscripción. No hemos recibido respuesta a esa propuesta.
Lamentamos de verdad que la situación no haya sido clara o satisfactoria para ti en ese momento. Si deseas retomarlo, estaremos encantados de ayudarte a revisarlo de nuevo y buscar la mejor solución posible contigo.

Tanítóként, tanárként használom az alkalmazást. Iszonyatosan jól működik az oktatásban! Hamost lennék gyerek, már én is unnám, ha csak tankönyvből kéne tanulni. Ezzel az alkalmazással játszva lehet tanítani. Most csinálom a második képzést ebből és szerintem hamarosan előfizetek, hogy még több lehetőséggel tudjam használni a tanításom során.

AVOID THIS COMPANY — Deceptive Practices, Refund Refusal, and a Support Team That Can't Be Trusted
From the moment I signed up for Genially, it was a disaster. Their system couldn't process my email during registration, forcing me to use an alternate address just to get in the door. That's not a minor inconvenience — that's a broken product before you've even started.
Then came the real deception. I attempted to unlock a feature that was advertised as requiring a premium upgrade. I clicked the prompt they provided, was taken to their pricing page, paid for a subscription, and returned to find the feature still locked. Why? Because the page they deliberately sent me to didn't even offer the plan that unlocked that feature. That is not a misunderstanding. That is a deceptive business practice, full stop.
I immediately requested a refund and cancellation — having never used the product after discovering what they'd done. What followed was 10+ support emails going nowhere. Their AI-powered support can't track a conversation, forcing you to repeat yourself endlessly. And their human support? They hide behind a no-refund policy to avoid accountability for their own deceptive interface. I didn't use the product. I asked for a refund immediately. There is no cleaner refund case than that — and they still said no and kept my $15.
Cancellation has been made deliberately confusing. They've implied I have multiple accounts, given me contradictory information about which account holds a premium subscription, and made it nearly impossible to untangle. This is not incompetence — this is a strategy. There is a review on Trustpilot from someone who attempted to cancel every single month for two years and couldn't get it done. That is not an accident.
The internet is full of reviews documenting exactly this pattern — deceptive upgrade flows, refund refusals, and cancellation nightmares. These complaints go back to 2021. This is not a company that doesn't know about its problems. This is a company that has chosen not to fix them. They've even gone so far as flagging honest negative reviews as defamatory on review platforms in an attempt to suppress them. When they respond to reviews like this one, expect a polished non-answer about wanting to "resolve your case fairly" — they won't. They'll stall, deflect, and run out the clock.
I am now filing a dispute with my bank and blocking this company from charging my card entirely. That is where this ends.
Do business with Geniely at your absolute own risk. Think about it once, twice, three times — and then don't do it. I wish I had read these reviews before handing over my payment information. Someone needs to hold this company accountable, and until that happens, the least I can do is make sure no one else walks into this blindly.
You have been warned.
If you find yourself in the same situation I'm in, dispute the charge with your bank. Go straight to your bank, file the dispute, and block them from charging your card again. Here's why this matters: every dispute costs them a fee on top of the refund, their payment processor tracks their chargeback rate, and too many disputes can get their merchant account shut down entirely. It hits them where it actually hurts. Leaving a review helps, but disputing the charge is the one action that has real financial consequences for them. Until enough people do exactly that, nothing will change. Don't let them keep your money — take it back.

About the upgrade and feature access: when clicking on a locked feature, users are redirected to our pricing page where all available plans and their included features are displayed side by side. From there, it’s possible to compare and choose the option that includes the desired functionality. In this case, the feature you refer to is not included in the PRO plan and is only available in other plans, as specified in that comparison. We’re sorry this may have been confusing, but the flow is designed to provide full transparency of all options rather than automatically unlocking a feature.
We also want to clarify that there are no hidden or custom plans—features are predefined and clearly published on our pricing page.
Regarding your refund and cancellation request, after carefully reviewing your case and as our support team has already informed you, it does not fall under our refund policy, as outlined in our Terms and Conditions published on our website.
