Superb service from GardX
Superb service from GardX. Warranty work carried out to an excellent standard and it was really helpful also to get tips and advice from Alan the expert technician who carried out the work. From start to finish it was a professional and yet also personal service. Highly recommended.
Tyre claim policy... is it worth it
To claim for tyre replacement is so difficult and awkward and the helpline offer no assistance and the attitude is that's our process like or leave it.
Submitted a video of the tyre damage from the main dealer where we bought the car (and the policy) to be told they were not qualified to provide the required details. We had 3 tyres with screws in and were told we had to raise a claim for each individual tyre even though the evidence (video) was all in one!
Total shambles and feels like its designed to frustrate the customer so much they don't bother claiming.
Alloy Wheel cover with Guard X
I took out Alloy Wheel cover when I bought my car and was told about how easy the procedure is when making a claim. On trying to make a claim soon found out how hard it is to make a claim. Told that if I did not have a driveway then they could not come out to my home address and that I had to find a suitable place with access to an electrical point. I eventually contacted the company I bought the car from and they said they could use their ground. Called back to GuardX and confirmed this, they then rang back to say that the company they use in my area does not have a lathe on the vans so can only paint over the damage to the wheel, this is not what I consider to be a repair just a cover up. If I had known this on taking out the policy I would never have agreed to paying the extra money! What a rip off!!
dealership failed gardx didn't
I had some issues with a dealership with the application of the GardX and preparation.
I contacted Vic from gardx who passed me onto Alan.
They both stepped up very professionally and sorted the issue above and beyond expectation.
With a personal visit from Alan to inspect the car and come up with a plan to sort out problems the car dealer had created.
GardX themselves believe in there products and think out the box on giving a product that does give peace of mind too us car owners.
The car looks like a new pin and the aftercare pack was explained in detail.
Not like the dealer who just chucked it in the boot of the car.
I will possibly have this product on my next car, but it will be with a specialist application company who will do a professional job and not a rush job small and busy car dealers do.
So yes I recommend this product but don't fall for a hard sell at a dealer as in my experience they really don't do a good job if anything at all.

Claim Declined for damage i didnt claim for
I submitted a claim to GardX for two small scratches, both well within SMART‑repair limits. After reviewing my photos,which i ahve now sent 5 times, GardX asked me to send images of an additional, longer scratch that I had not noticed, had happened after the original claim and had not claimed for.
GardX then declined the entire door repair based on this longer scratch — damage they specifically instructed me to add and which was never part of my original claim. They have not provided any policy wording that allows them to reject valid damage on this basis.
They have approved the separate quarter‑panel repair, but the handling of the door claim has been poor and does not appear consistent with fair claims handling. I am now preparing to escalate the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
as an update, i have still received no reply to my latest email on the 13th March, so am now in process with finacial ombudsmen
Shocking experience
Shocking experience - not worth the money - tried to blame the customer for the exteriors damage stating left bird poo on the car for too long (any bird poo was taken off straight away and car was kept clean) - outer didn’t seem to be protected at all from anything- no reps in the big car sales places such as Evans halshaw as they all left and overall disgusted with the overall experience.
I don't recommend
Sincerely speaking there is no need for Gardx protection, waste of money. Look after your car yourself and keep it clean

So easy and accessible to use - Used the policy twice last year - instructions are clear, there are a number of options available and on both occasions I've used them it's been slick, no issues and a really great service thank you.

I have had three jeeps done with Gardx , yes it’s great for a few months but honestly it’s not worth the money the dealer charges , I now have my latest jeeps ceramic coated ,The vehicles are shining all the time and the dirt just washes off without using a cloth
Outstanding service by Aden at GardX.
I purchased a brand-new Audi in early February 2023, which came with GardX ceramic coating. Unfortunately, the coating was poorly applied by the Audi dealership, and it needed to be reapplied by GardX under their lifetime guarantee a few years later.
From the moment I registered the claim, Aden took ownership of the issue and ensured that my car received a new ceramic coating within a week.
Aden explained everything in detail, and I can honestly say he treated my car as if it were his own.
On the cheap - non genuine repairs.
Don’t bother with it - diamond cut alloys will be spray painted if you scratch them. Very poor repairs and they try not to honour genuine claims or do the repairs on the cheap / Cut every corner possible and then complaint emails are ignored (Giselle).

I use guardX on all vehicles that I purchased and it stands buy a vehicle when it comes time to sell . As it keeps the vehicle in pristine condition. And makes it easy to wash and clean.i think it’s well worth that extra cost as you will re coupe when time to change I would recommend guardX to anyone who values there vehicle. A great product.
I felt that the deep shine on the car had deteriorated
I felt that the deep shine on the car had deteriorated. The Gardx protection has been on the car for over 4 years, this I felt was a reasonable protection length of time but as Gardx give a lifetime warranty I would ask if the shine could be improved. No problem with the process and an appointment was made for a technician to visit, Alan Davies.
Alan could not have been more helpful and explained the problem was atmospheric fall out restored the shine to the car, and advised how I can keep the luster.
Not a Gardx problem really!

Complete waste of my £600
It was a complete waste of my £600. Neither the exterior nor interior benefited from it. I'm not even convinced that it was ever applied to my car by German Autocentre Sheffield. But they did put the little sticker on my windscreen!
