WOW.......ordered very inexpensive topiary frames and they were delivered next day for just £3 postage. Packaging was a bit excessive, I can't help thinking it costmore than the items......but all round incredible service.

Whatever you do - don't buy from the company! The company behind this website is really called Austen Group Ltd. If the product is faulty - they deny the problem and won't resolve it for you. Purchase from another company and save yourself a world of pain.

I ordered several shrubs on the 4th June, the delivery was really quick and the plants were well packed apart from a couple of crumpled leaves (which are fine now). I should of ordered their Sweet Peas but thought they were expensive so ordered elsewhere and that was a waste of money. I have re-potted a couple of them as I need to prepare the ground first (plus bad weather is holding me up).

All plants are thriving and I only hope they do survive the winter as they are listed as hardy. The only complaint I have (and this stopped 5 stars) was that none of the plants were labelled to tell you what they were. I am a beginner so seeing them as young shrubs I cannot tell which is which.

Warning! If it says "instock" or "Next Day Delivery" on their website, do not believe it (i believe that doing this violates trade description). I bough a wheel barrow that said instock, next day delivery and i've still not received it. They are polite on the phone and email, but what they say, is very different to what they do. I will never buy from Gardening Delights again. They also own Wheelbarrows.co.uk so don't buy from them either.

I recently ordered a wheelbarrow, and selected 4 day delivery option. The order was paid on the 13th Apr and I expected delivery yesterday Monday 20th.
Wheelbarrow did not arrive and I contacted company who requested more detail.
I enclosed my bank statement as well as my order details. I hope to receive a reply, wheelbarrow or indeed a refund. I will update this review when I receive an update.

I have had a very poor experience.
I have ordered compostable bin bags. Their website took my money twice then repeatedly told me I had not paid and something was 'still in my basket'.
I paid for quick delivery and one week later nothing has arrived.
I have sent two emails with no response.
Their phones lines do not work because of COVID! A POOR EXCUSE NOT TO ANSWER A PHONE.
Do not bother with this company.

Bought a compo king compost bin, delivered within days without lid fixings, rang customer service and explained. Receptionist said she would deal with it, weeks later still no fixings.
I have sent 4 emails none have been replied to.
Very poor customer service!!!

Had to chase this company several times for product refund..even spoke to the MD who promised replacement bin bags (which I ordered via a council website and were falling apart.) On complaining, the MD said he would replace them. After several months of not receiving replacement I spoke again to the company
And was assured by the customer service, I would receive contact that day.Three months later!!! I contacted garden delights again and explained again the problem. The customer service said she would speak with MD regarding this problem .....by now, of course the complaint is several months old. I was told that as the bags were decomposable they should be used within the year...This information was not given to me at any time when I telephoned the original order (I was advised I should have asked the question)...so don’t buy any quantity of bags that are not going to be used within 12 months...even though their domestic use offer is for large quantities!
This company apparently does not keep transactions details (convenient so can’t trace monies paid) does not honour their word.
I cannot recommend them at all and there are other companies offering better quality and service. It would seem that because they have been taken on by a local Council, who have hundreds of customers, their moral compass has also disintergrated.

Plants arrived in great condition.

I bought a couple of rolls of caddy bags (for green waste). Web site was easy to use, and items were delivered when promised.

Ordered ladders from Gardening Delights on 13th Aug they were on 3 day delivery. After a week I contacted Gardening Delights to be told they didn't know where they were as they were coming directly from the supplier, they rang the supplier and told me they would be with me in 3 days. Another week later and no ladders, I rang again and got the same response they rang the supplier and told me it would be another 3 days. A further week and no ladders. Today I rang them again now 4 weeks since the order only to be told the supplier has not yet manufactured the ladders, this is Lyte a major ladder manufacturer being made out to be personally manufacturing my ladders. This is beyond a joke, it was obvious to me they were not able to source these ladders and had no intention of delivering them to me. These ladders are still on sale today on their website as "in stock" this really is the worst online retailer I have ever dealt with, they are totally incompetent. Avoid

This company is actually DF Sales Ltd, they have many different brands mostly all with poor reviews, they also have a Facebook page that has not been updated in several years littered with customers chasing refunds. Please do your research.

I had not intended to voice a complaint but, as a review has been invited, I shall describe my experience. I wanted to buy some barbed wire and found three types listed - as two were out of stock but the third promised 2-3 day delivery I chose that despite it being more expensive. When it didn't arrive as expected I called Gardening Delights at approximately 11.00 am on a weekday. The answerphone asked me to call back in office hours which this clearly was. I received no response to the message I had left. I then checked the website and found that since my order this product was now listed as out of stock. Without any further feedback from the company I finally received the product after 12 working days - 4 to 6 times the time committed to at the time the order was placed.

By coincidence on the day I placed this order I ordered some light bulbs from another company. Within a couple of hours I received an e-mail to say the product was out of stock and offering me an alternative or a refund. When I replied to cancel the order the money was back in my account the same day. This is the level of service we should now expect, and frequently obtain, from on-line suppliers. It goes without saying that I will not use Gardening Delight again and suggest others should avoid them if possible.

Great quality bio degradable bags, strong and don't leak. Delivered promptly too. Very pleased.

I needed some good quality recycling sacks for my general recycling waste. I ordered garden waste bags and they are perfect. They are quite sturdy and the quality seems good. On one occasion I ordered from a different store and although slightly cheaper they were inferior and brittle and tore very easily.
I have been using these bags from gardening for the past couple of years and I don’t see any reason to change .Customer service from gardening delights is superb.

I buy my wheelie bin & caddy compstable Bio Bags from Gardening Delights. Prices are good & their service is excellent.

Many places now sell bio-degradable food waste bags but I have found Gardening Delights to be the best, not only in the quality of the product but in their excellent, prompt service. I bought food waste caddies for my caravanners from Gardening Delights and although I have tried using cheaper bags from other suppliers I have found that those from Gardening Delight last longer and don't split as others do, especially if the food is on the wet side. I know that with bags from Gardening Delights they will last a week if necessary and I won't have a mess to contend with. You get what you pay for.
