New garage door fitted by approved agent about two years ago and it's starting to rust ! Garador refuse to honour the warranty saying it's not covered. Agents have chased them but they wont budge. Strongly suggest you go elsewhere if considering s spending a lot of money on a new door

I had lost two remote controls for our Garador operated garage doors. I bought two replacements from a third party, but couldn't make them work. I phoned Garador who were very friendly and helpful and helped me to make the remotes work very quickly.

I am most impressed with Garador: they are knowledgeable, helpful, efficient and competent. That just says it!

I have just finally had my garage doors fitted, the fitting company were very good and I cannot fault them but the fact that it took 3 sets of doors to get it right is poor. The fact that this company allowed the same issue to get through their quality control is unacceptable. Would I buy from this company again, absolutely not. And the customer care is non existent. Whoever buys from them in the future I wish you the best and hope it is 'right first time' as it should be.

Shane and Ellis are consummate professionals. Punctual, efficient and all with a smile even during the storm. If you can get these gents you will be happy.

Well if I could give no stars for after care then these would come top.The door is less than 2 years old appx.Yet it's already showing signs of rust and wear under the paint and its in a state. These doors apparently come with a 10 year gurantee but hidden in the small print because you would automatically think it covers the finish yet their is a get out clause it doesn't so in effect it's worthless but why not state this in the beginning instead of hiding it in the small print .Well as far as I'm concerned I wouldn't reccomend this company.Whats the point in purchasing a product that's going to rust in a comparatively short time making it unattractive as this is the first thing you see.Even the door fitter was unaware of this as I involved him with my complaint and as far as im aware he contacted the company and he also noticed then how poor the finish on the door was even in places the top coat was missed completely and same as me he got nowhere.My advice always read the small print I'm a authorised member of quite a few consumer web sites and I will be thinking of writing further reviewsThe date of the experiences is approximately as the hassle ive had getting nowhere.Ive noticed there is a few more negative reviews on this site about this company and good luck if you have the same problems as me but I don't expect a reply or even a rectification of this as it would need removing and completely stripped and coated properly so it doesn't rust .

Hi there, I highly recommend the team from Garador. The process from start to finish was seamless. The technician who did the work were on time, friendly and did an amazing job.

Door is 14 months old, corrosion now starting to break through paint and showing as white spots everywhere.
Garador saying not covered by warranty.
Avoid this company charge a fortune for inferior goods.

We had a Garadoor / Hormann Sectional Door installed in 2022. The critical factor in our choice was this door has a U-Value and would seal our garage as effectively as a door or window. In the first year this appeared to be the case. There were no droughts coming in to the garage, the ambient temperature of the garage had improved. Unfortunatly this is no longer the case. The garage is droughty and cold again. The original installer and a different registered installer have both said there's nothing wrong with the door. So now im left with a £2k plus door that doesn't keep the cold out and i'm being told there's nothing wrong with it. Service manager at garadoor has been dismissive of my problem. Poor experience and I'd definitely encourage people to look elsewhere if they need a door to seal their garage properly.

We've been buying Garador's products since the end of 2022 and whilst there have been ups and downs, the thing that matters most is that Garador's customer service throughout has been phenomenal. As a manufacturer ourselves, we understand that things cannot always be perfect but it's really important to know that when things do go wrong, Garador will do their absolute best to resolve any issues in a timely and efficient manner.

After supplying various other types of garage door, we can safely say that Garador Up & Overs are the best that are on the market in terms of quality and innovation. We plan to continue using Garador for many years to come!

Unfortunately my garage door got stuck down and it wouldn’t go up . Trying hand devices etc. siren was screaming to I had to turn electric off. Tried for nearly 3 weeks to contact them with no answer just told they would phone me back ( recorded message). Managed to contact eventually and was told engineer would contact me . 3 days and no response. So with heavy heart I write this bad review. Don’t like doing this but we have had several frosts and car iced up. Fortunately car outside. If was inside would have cost me several days work.

I am overall satisfied with the product itself.

But after a certain amount of time, the door opener motor unit has started to flash 6 times for several minutes, whenever I use the door, to remind me to book maintenance service.

It is super annoying and you need a service tech to reset it.

I HATE this business practice of forcing customer to spend more money.

If it was just a reminder that I can reset myself - I would appreciate.
But this cutthroat tactic is not ok.

I have used Garador as a main supplier for many years. The product they manufacture is well made and I rarely have any issues. When I do however, the important part is that they are solved no questions asked. The team, from the helpfulness of the sales department to knowledgableness of the Warranty and technical department, are happy to help in any way. I have fitted other manufacturers of garage doors,Garador is not the cheapest, however the product and customer services from Garador is always better than all the rest.

Brilliant product, nice friendly helpful team on the phones, would highly recommend.

Within 8 weeks of installation my Gararoll Premium insulated door developed 3 large opaque vertical stripes approx 200mm wide and running top to bottom. I was advised that this corresponded with the new Durabelt Technology. However, after 5 months of dealing with their recommended installer,and Garador themselves, I am still no further forward. Garador advised me in March 2024, that they would have to seek advice from their German manufacturers, as it was a new problem and as yet the German manufacturer has not responded. I have also contacted their Warranty Department, their Technical Team and now their Area Sales Manager, to no avail. They are very good on the phone at sounding empathetic but nothing constructive is forthcoming. One proposed solution by the installer was to replace the doors under warranty and then remove the Durabelt technology so that the marking up wouldnt happen again. However, Garador advised that removing the Durabelt would negate the warranty. as the Durabelt is there to reduce "marking"; and I paid for the recommended Durabelt technology as Advertised in their brochure. However, Garador cannot as yet give me a solution to the problem and I do not see why the Company's technical resolution issues should be at my expense. I have asked for a refund via the Installer and the Area Sales Manager, but there is nothing forthcoming. The onus appears to be always on the Customer to contact and "chase". I would like to have a conversation with Garador's Managing Director on the Durabelt problem, and its resolution for me as a customer, as it is not my fault that there seems to be a technical issue that affects the appearance of the door. Garador's customer service is very poor and I have just been referred from Department to Department. I still request a refund and a response from Garador on this issue. I will look forward to a response from the Managing Director

Beware some of the Delivery drivers behaviour can be upsetting to children and parents.

Would give this company zero stars if possible.
Brought a nice anthracite up and over door to finalise my house renovation that took 2 years. The finish of the door has now failed and begun to go white. The company said it is not covered by warranty since the door can be damaged by UV or chemicals! The door NEVER gets the sun since it is positioned down the side of the property and all it's had on it is rain water so if this causes it to fail it clearly isn't fit for purpose! Avoid this company AT ALL COSTS unless you want to pay a fortune for a door that you will STILL NEED TO RUB DOWN AND PAINT LIKE A CHEAP door. I'm going to take legal action against this company as their products are fit for the skip and nothing else! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
