I’ve used Future Shop before. This cable purchase was absolutely outstanding. I ordered one item when I should have specified a pair. An email fixed that. The product is fantastic quality. I had an after sales query with fitting the cable to my amp (which the amp manufacturer and retailer wouldn’t help with) and Future Shop gave me the correct advice quickly and in a friendly manner. A truly brilliant company.

Future Shop is a place where all my audio / visual / and data needs have been met and indeed exceeded.
The technical help is concise to the point and super friendly.
In truth initially i was a little unsure as to whether a higher quality ethernet quality cable would make little difference to my interpretation of audio or visual quality.
I stand corrected .
the picture is crisper cleaner.
Lossless audio sounds more detailed.
Great company, offering products that make listening to audio and watching content an altogether different experience.

Great products delivered quickly
I love that they stock equipment that you just can't find anywhere else, in my case AudioQuest HDMI cables and adapters. Despite the price and scarcity of these things, my two orders arrived really quickly and in perfect order. I had expected to wait a bit longer as maybe they didn't carry expensive stock but each item was delivered next working day. Top marks.

Disappointing customer service
First purchase of SR Purple fuse was good.
Second time not so. I paid for next day delivery and received a notification the next day saying it would be delivered that day but it was not. I contacted Future Shop who just said ‘delivery is 1-2days’. I also mentioned that the expensive fuse had the paper cover coming off and that it looked like a previously returned item. I asked if it would work as intended but initially received no response. Then they said it would work fine but did not offer a replacement. Finally they offered a replacement but dealing with the Future Shop is just plain difficult and disappointing. Avoid.

We received your order on June 27th, and it was shipped the same day using Royal Mail First Class tracked services. This is a 1—to 2-day delivery service and is not guaranteed Next Day. For guaranteed next-day services, we offer options like Royal Mail Special Delivery and Next-Day DPD/DHL services, which are charged at £8.95.
All orders over £99 come with free delivery within 1 to 2 days in the mainland UK. I noticed you opted to pay for Royal Mail tracked services at £3.95, which, as stated, is not guaranteed next-day delivery; hence, it took two days to deliver.
We have refunded the £3.95 postage as you qualified for free delivery and offered to exchange the fuse. Please rest assured, all our fuses sold are brand new, and any items returned by customers within 30 days are marked as ex-demo.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding.
Excellent Customer Service
I recently purchased some new speaker cables but when I had new carpets laid one of the banana plug covers got lost.
I emailed Future Shop asking when I could obtain a cover. I received a quick response from Mark D’Mello saying they would sort it for me. In the next mornings post the cover arrived FOC.
This is the normal excellent customer service I’ve always received from Future Shop and why I always purchase cables, amongst other things, from them.

Ordered a DAC from Future Shop extremely quick delivery next day A n item that was advertised as included with DAC did not arrive. One pleasant phonecall with a member of staff had the item dispatched and delivered next day. I cannot rate their service highly enough. Will be using them again.

Bad Experience which became a good experience

Ignore my rant below. I have been personally called with an explanation and it had all been a misunderstanding involving an unfortunate admin error.
I would continue to recommend this company and will no doubt buy again from them in the future.
Recently purchased a Tacima plug extension, payment was fine, so far so good.
A week later, I’m informed by the payment company that the transaction was cancelled by the seller !
No courtesy email from Futureshop, nothing. I found this very rude and definitely wouldn’t order from them again.

Excellent product, great price, fast delivery, fantastic customer service. My new speaker cable instantly brightened up my Hifi sound, I couldn't be happier. My only regret? I didn't invest in a cable upgrade sooner.

2 days too late
Due to my amplifier needing to go off for repair/service and delays beyond my control, it turned out that the cable I'd bought was not indeed what I needed. I contacted Futureshop to explain and was told that since more than 90 days had elapsed, there was nothing they could do to assist. I'd had the cable for 92 days but there was no flexibility. The best they could offer was 'put it on Ebay' - brand new, boxed cable, practically unused (just tried to see if it solved a problem) about to go on Ebay. Would put me off spending thousands here on my next streamer.

On arrival of a pair of furutech signal boosters one of the silicone rubber tie down bands was split on it's join. I contacted future shop immediately and explained the problem to Gary. 10 days went by and heard nothing. I contacted future shop again and explained my situation again. I then received an email asking me to explain my situation again. This is rubbish after sale care and is not good enough in 2024. I have been ignored since returning the email and they have also chosen not to publish my review on their own website....vetting customer reviews is not good practice future shop!
