Sofa delivered and leg broke whilst they were putting it together - delivery guy made note of it and said someone would call to arrange a fix. No one did, I called and they said try hat it had been logged but basically just had to wait, quite rude on phone. Few days later I called back to chase as still no contact, again rude person on phone said if I wanted to reject the sofa I could. Then I asked to be passed to someone else - they said I would be contacted by end of week - well it’s now Saturday night and still no contact. After care sucks - I would expect a quick repair and a refund of delivery charge due to having a sofa in my living room I can’t move …but waiting . Very close to just rejecting the sofa and being done with it all to be honest because ther customer service people are just so rude

Furniture village at Gallows corner Romford was warm, welcoming and salesman Swarn was very helpful when I was looking for a bed.
The retail park was easy to access and park despite nearby road closures.

Customer service is exceptional. Management team is very professional and cannot do enough to make the purchase perfect.

This was our second visit to this outlet within a month, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The sales staff were very pushy about adding unnecessary insurance products, repeatedly saying, “that’s the price with the protection.” This raises an obvious question: if the furniture is of good quality, why is additional cover being presented?

On our last visit, the salesperson showed little interest in engaging with us at all. There was no effort to build rapport or offer advice; the interaction felt entirely transactional. To make matters worse, we were then asked to complete an online review simply to show that the outlet was still open for other potential customers. As a customer, that felt inappropriate — I’m here to shop, not to act as a marketing tool for Furniture Village.

Overall, the hard sell and lack of genuine customer engagement left us with a very poor impression.

I was seen by a gentleman who took me round and supported me to choose the bed needed for my back and what I can afford too.

Replacement of 2 items. Delivery arranged twice but only one item delivered in 4 months. One item is still undelivered after 4 months.

From start to finish, he was patient, kind, and genuinely attentive, taking the time to really listen and ensure I chose exactly what was right for me. His knowledge, care, and thoughtful explanations made the whole experience feel effortless and reassuring. What stood out most was his warmth and compassion - it never felt transactional, just honest and supportive. Kam is an absolute credit to Furniture Village and someone who clearly takes pride in looking after customers. I couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

We came Furniture Village after long time, We spent nearly two hours, served by Ian who has been remarkable. Provided specialist support and good customer services.

An amazing selection and display of quality sofas and furniture, help at hand if you needed it.

We saw these beautiful chairs in the store so we placed the order. All good till we received the delivery and to our surprise the front were fabric but unfortunately the backs and sides were that awful faux leather. We replaced our current dinning chairs because the faux leather lasted less than a year. We did mention this to the sales person in store, we thought he understood that we did not want faux leather.
We contacted customer services and were told that they cannot do anything. They also said if they were to take them back they may have to deduct 50% as they are now second hand.
Please don't buy from this company as there is no after care.

Good customer care, and wide ranging product to choose from. The man who served us was attentive knowledgeable and relaxed. His name was Swarn . You can get in out of the site with out to much trouble from the road works on Gallows Corner.

Swarn was absolutely outstandng, very professional and extremely helpful and friendly, would highly recommend the Romford branch
