Furniture Village - Peterborough Anmeldelser 

We visited the Peterborough store on Saturday 16th April, we went to look at wardrobes initially, the salesman Graham Roberts, was very informative and couldn’t have been more helpful, he explained to us about the ordering process and anything we asked about the wardrobes he was able to answer.

Sadly our space is odd with a curved ceiling which reduces the height where our wardrobes need to be, so we’ve decided to have built in to maximise all of the space we have, if it wasn’t for that we would definitely have purchased the stand alone German sliding wardrobes, very well built and good value for money.

Whilst we were there we looked at mattresses and beds, Graham was very knowledgeable about all the mattresses we looked at, we have decided that once our wardrobe space has been built we will go back to the same store and decide which mattress we will buy.
We’d recommend the store and of course Graham, he truly was helpful and an asset to Furniture Village 😊

Delivery men were excellent getting the furniture in & setting it up & putting the parts together. It all went very smoothly.

We wanted to purchase a recliner chair and sofa, the most important was ensuring my husband was safe to transfere on a chair,the staff went above and beyond to ensure he was able to get in and out safely.
We didn't once feel it was to much trouble or pressure to rush as this can take time for him with his disability.
We didn't feel any pressure to pick certain items if anything they wanted us to feel 100% happy .
We was greeted with a warm friendly professional lady and manager .
Are experience was fantastic especially because we had gone to other companies and was really disappointed with the customer service.
I would highly recommend this company and store .
The lovely little touch of drinks and cookies went down well!
From start to finish the whole experience was amazing .

Mark and George from the Peterborough Depod delivered our sofa order.They advised us of estimated delivery time and arrived early.They were well presented clean and tidy and undertook the unpacking,assembly and checking electric recliner actions worked as they should.The experience from Kwok and Andy at the store to Mark and George on delivery as well as the product has been a very enjoyable experience.Thankyou Furniture Village.

Matt Spencer at the Peterborough store helped us decide what was best for our 2 three seater sofas.
He was very knowledgeable and informative about the products. He gave us the time to make a decision and we never felt under any pressure to hurry up - even though I’m not great at making a final decision!
We will look forward to our new sofas in a few weeks time !

Matthew recognised us as previous customers as soon as he saw us, welcomed us and offered refreshments. He remembered our previous purchases and quickly completed our new purchases. He had excellent knowledge of the mattresses available and really helped us with our decision process.

After what had been a very drawn out stressful experience due to issues with our order the customer service rep Kiran was very helpful in part being able to resolve my issue.
Also a special mention must go to the store manager who was absolutely ourstanding in the part he played in finally resolving the issue also.
Can't fault the staff at the store they were excellent.

As soon as we walked into the store Haylee was so polite and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.
We were looking for otterman bed, headboard and mattress . Halee took the time to go through everything with us and we left the store very happy with our purchases.

2 stars given purely to the pair who delivered my mattress.

One of them whilst his mate rang my doorbell decided to slide my Tempura single mattress out of the cardboard box then drag the mattress across the tarmac. All that was protecting my mattress was now the thin plastic bag. Imagine my disappointment that this £1200 plus mattress was being dragged across the tarmac with only a protective thin plastic bag to stop the tarmac ripping into it and marking my brand new mattress.

I expressed my disappointment to the man who was ringing the doorbell and all he said was that his mate was very keen.

Very keen to clearly not worry about damaging my mattress, but getting it to my door as quick as he could so they could get onto the next delivery.

Thankfully, after inspecting the bag which had been dragged across the floor, there was no damage. But this was very disappointing and when considering my next purchase Furniture Village will not be at the top of my list. 

Honestly Adrian here is amazing, went looking a year ago and left an lasting impression that we definitely came back.
Not only is he polite and professional, he goes above your expectations. Expecting someone in sales to be pushy and want that sale is not this places strategy or Adrian's for that matter.
Couldn't thank him enough in making sofa shopping a good experience, highly recommend and so much better than the experience I had at DFS who clearly dont care

Went to Furniture Village and was immediately greeted by Matt who was extremely friendly and helpful. We ended up buying a couple of new sofas and a tv stand. A very relaxed experience.
