Very helpful salespeople hampered a little by minor issues with the computer system. However everything was double checked and checked again as we went through my order.

Rang in advance to ask about a certain chair - Steve was very helpful and suggested we pop in to see an example. Arrived just before store was closing but Steve was extremely helpful showing similar products and did not rush us. We bought the product comfortable that we had made the right choice.

The service we received today was excellent, Claire the nice young lady who dealt with our purchase was extremely polite and made us feel very welcome she offered my wife and I a drink and a cookie which was a nice touch and she was also very good at explaining everything to do with our purchase overall it was a great experience

I had the worst experience ever at furniture village Orpington after paying £1900 for a three peace for our new home i was told it would be delivered on tuesday the9th then that got changer to Wednesday 10th June between 12.44pm and 3.44pm so i waited then they pushed the time to between 4.20pm and 4.35pm then at 4.35 i received another text the or der wont be delivered as planed that's after sending a text showing me the tracking of the delivery i then rung furniture village to be told they had nothing to do with the delivery company they dont have the furniture I got a phone call the next day from the manager at Orpington who said he didn't know anything so i said i wanted a refund so i could go somewhere else and buy my furniture as i wanted to move in as we were staying in a toby carvery then on Thursday the manager said he would ring me that evening or first thing Friday to let me know what was happening it is now the 13th and i have heard nothing from the company when i asked him why they had given them dates and not turned up he said it was a computer that sent the dates the they are not answering the phone so now we have no furniture and no money to buy another suite i so et looks like we have been ripped off i have never experienced any thing like this disgusting

Was greeted by the manager when I entered the store and told him exactly what I was after ( sofa with cushions I could swap and turn over ) was shown 3 that he had in store and bought one ! Goods arrived earlier than expected and delivered by two very helpful and courtesy men.

Recommended to buy Gplan chair and 3 seater to replace our old furniture. More than our planned budget but was assured of the quality. Given delivery of 7-9 weeks. 20th March warehouse calls furniture ready for delivery 27th March. Arranged for old furniture to be disposed of on the 23rd. On 25th told chair not in warehouse but 3 seater would still be delivered. We agreed as we had no furniture. On the 27th 2 hours after a delivery slot 3 seater not coming as they couldn’t find it. Despite the showroom telling us to call with any issues did very little to help. Despite the warehouse assuring they would chase I had to call them with no solution. I emailed the owners no response.The same when I emailed Gplan. I emailed myexperience@funiturevillage initially they said they would forward to the manager at Orpington showroom. I knew I would not get a response and I didn’t. Eventually I got a single point of contact when the furniture was delivered on the 27th April the 3 seater had a technical fault. On the redelivery on 2nd May it came 2 hours after the delivery slot. I was offered what they described as a substantial discount for all the issues which worked out as 16% which I consider an insult.

Great service, didn’t feel pressured at all, unlike every other furniture store I have ever been in, I wasn’t immediately mobbed by every member of staff in the place. When we actually spoke to sales person they were very helpful and listened!! Would definitely go there again

We ordered wardrobes back in January. There was a dent which was clearly visible and the backs of both wardrobes hadn’t been fixed correctly, We are on our 19th week of waiting for the replacement! Would never order anything from Furniture Village again, Their lack of customer service is shocking.

Extremely disappointing experience with Furniture Village Orpington.

I placed an order for a complete bed set on 18 April after being assured by the sales team that delivery would take approximately 3–4 weeks. Nearly 8 weeks later, I am still waiting for the order and have received a series of broken promises and contradictory updates.

Over the course of the delay, I was given multiple delivery dates including 28 May, 29 May, 1 June and 6 June. Every one of these dates passed without delivery.

What has been most frustrating is the conflicting information provided by the store. First Instance : I was assured on 26 May that delivery will happen on 28 May but did not happened. Second Instance : They tried delivering only 50% of the order on 29th May. Third Instance : On 1 June, I was told that the date was supplier-confirmed and effectively locked in, yet the delivery never happened. On 2 June I was informed that Item is not delivered to their warehouse. Forth Instance: On 7 June, I was informed that the item had already arrived at the warehouse and was simply waiting to be scanned into the system. Less than 24 hours later, I was told that the item had not arrived at the warehouse at all and that they were hoping it might arrive on 9 or 10 June, although they could not guarantee it.

As a customer, it is difficult to have confidence in a company when the information changes from days to days and week to week and nobody appears able to confirm where the order actually is.

The bed was purchased specifically for a guest staying with us. Because of these repeated delays, my guest has now been sleeping on a couch for over six weeks beyond the original delivery timeframe. Every week I have been told that delivery is just around the corner, only to receive another excuse and another revised date.

I understand that supply chain issues can happen, but what I cannot accept is the lack of transparency, very poor communication, and repeated commitments that are not honored.

Unfortunately, this experience has completely eroded my trust in Furniture Village. In future, I will not be purchasing from Furniture Village again and would not recommend them to friends, family, or colleagues at any cost.

Great Service from Abbey really helped with the colour decision. So pleased with our Old Sofa we ended up buying the same again after 15 years Albeit a different Colour.
Quality all round.
