Just had my delivery of my last two dinning chairs was really impressed with Mike and Jamie the delivery men were quick and efficient there service was brilliant thankyou to you both

We visited Furniture Village on three occasions before choosing a suite. We were always greeted warmly and offered coffee. Simon who we delt with on all three occasions was professional and friendly. On our last visit we were quite late, but there was no rush to purchase and finalized the deal, we ended up being 30 minutes after closing time.
We purchased our last suite from Furniture Village and will probably do so again in the future.

Helpful, friendly staff and an extensive range of styles/options.

a severe lack of updates regarding our faulty bed. We reported a leg broke on it at the start of February, unable to be fixed we was told a new one was ordered, this done by the manufacturer and the customer service team. We have spoken with numerous members of the Hull store and still get no helpful updates with our lack of working bed!

Latest was when me and my partner visited Saturday 15th, and was promised a call back from Jason who was speaking with the bed buyer. Jason did very well to avoid our complaints and concerns but still explained to us both, with no benefit, who this gent was he was meeting with on Monday. 

I couldn't tell you what was discussed at this meeting as I have heard nothing again from Jason. No updates from the manufacturer, nothing from the customer service team and nothing from Jason. 

This level of customer service is diabolical, we spent £1200 and within 18 months a defect occurred (things happen) but the after care from everyone involved with this has been worse than appalling

The lady that served us was very good, told her our requirements and came up with exactly what we wanted. 10 out of 10 to a lovely lady who treated us well.

Amber from the customer care team assisted me with a concern regarding how one of our 2 seater reclining sofas, had developed problemsin just 2 months of purchase. She listened patiently whilst I explained the problem, requested photos of the sofa and arranged for a furniture inspector from another company to contact me to arrange a visit, which was exactly what I requested so it could be seen how the sofa had deteriorated within the 2 months we have had it. She was very courteous professional and helpful. Checking I was happy with the progress of my contact and asking if there was anything further she could help me with, on more than one occassion. I felt she was actively listening and responding appropriately to resolve my problem. I am very grateful for her help and attention.

Experience in the outlet was great, Sales person was very helpful and got our order on the system. However we were told all of the order would not be available for 3 weeks. 3 weeks past and we went back to the store to find out that would now be up to 7 weeks. This news was disappointing and a surprise as we have now got rid of the furniture we are replacing. Also already paid up front in full.

We popped into Furniture Village - Hull St Andrews Quay to view some dining chairs. The in store range made it an easy choice and suited our needs. The sales staff; William and Jason were friendly and very helpful imparting good product knowledge to assist us with or final choice. Overall, professional staff, a well stocked store and good accessibility (there is a lift to the first floor).

We bought grey velvet sofa bed. The sofa bed is great, material has a great feel to it very comfy for both daily sitting and sleeping when needed. Only 3 stars as the initial delivery, I was told by the staff in shop, was meant to be 2 weeks as this unit was available in their stock warehouse and took 5-6 and arrived incomplete without brackets that hold the back rest and allows it to move properly wasting one of my days off to be at home waiting for the delivery. Then Had to wait a week before customer service contacted me about rejection and seemingly only contacted because I've sent few emails chasing. Took extra 3 weeks to deliver new one and the customer service, in my opinion, were rudely asking why did I not wait for someone to come in and fix it, why did I have to reject. Well no one wants to buy a brand new product and receive it incomplete with one of the main parts missing. Like accepting brand new car without engine parts or wheels and saying yeah no problem you can come fix it whenever since no timescale was provided as the office was not picking up the phone at all from neither myself or the delivery guys. If I ever consider buying from furniture village again, it will have to be a really really nice piece of furniture as I'd be expecting to have same issues with another purchase after this experience. The only people I'm actually happy with in this process were the delivery guys, that handled the product with good care and were professional about rejection and tried to help but as mentioned, no one was answering to neither me or them.

Felt very comfortable in store, sales assistant Simon welcomed us in with some helpful information and left us to browse. We had no intention of making a purchase but came across a bed that fitted our needs and at a great price. We now needed help and Simon was at hand to help, he closed the sale with us. The following day we arranged to pick the bed up and again Simon was at hand to assist. Great professional service.
