Patricia at the Chelmsford store was very friendly and helpful, and spent a considerable amount of time assisting me in making the right decision.

She provided me with all the information about the products. Would recommend!

I have just moved and went shopping with my sister for a new sofa, just looking to see what I liked.
Patricia was amazing! Helpful and gave us the information we needed without being pushy.
We continue to look in the other furniture/sofa shops but could find what I liked so came back..
Patricia saw us again and joked "have you been to the other shops" whist I was sitting on the sofa which I liked.
Patricia was again very helpful with all information on the sofa, so I brought it.

And after all the paperwork was done my sister then saw some lion pictures, which she then brought.

We were looking for a new sofa, to which she gave us all the info we needed, without being too pushy!.
When we came back 1/2 an hour later, she still gave us time...
And when we purchased the sofa , I also found some pictures, and brought them!

I bought a corner seater sofa in excess of £2000 in November 2024 because I was told by the sales assistant that the upholstery was ‘hard wearing’. The cushions are already going bobbly. We took out insurance on the sofa because we were told, ‘it covers everything’. We took the cushions back to the store where a sales assistant said we would almost certainly be able to claim on our insurance but that we had to contact customer services online. When we contacted customer services, we were fobbed off with ‘that’s just wear and tear’ even though photos we sent them showed severe wear as the cushions were all bobbly; they then closed the case. The insurance clearly isn’t worth the paper it’s written on . What’s more, the sofa is still being paid for on finance. I will never buy form Furniture Village again. There is a Facebook group for people who share their dissatisfaction with Furniture Village products and several of them have the same sofa as us and have had same bad experience. The irony is, this company has just won a national award for customer service; I’d hate to see what their rivals must be like as our customer service experience with Furniture Village has been atrocious! Needless to say, we certainly won’t be buying from this company again; nor will our friends and family as we have warned them all about our experiences.
