I have found FSB so useful as I have recently set up my sole trader business. They have many resources and services to support micro businesses and the staff are excellent. I have attended many of the free network events that are held and the networking opportunities that come from these. Thank you for being there for small and micro businesses and leading us in the right direction

I am new to London and have attended two FSB events so far, one in person at Brixton and one today online. They are an excellent way to meet people and other businesses, especially for finding professionals who can help with your own business, as well as potential new clients. Highly recommend to any small business owners.

I love face to face networking, so getting it right online really stands out! The FSB Online South London event this morning really hit the spot. A great way to meet new people and old friends.

I’ve been a member of the Federation of Small Businesses for some time, but as a disabled person starting a business, I feel I’ve had very little value from my membership.

Following vocal cord surgery, using my voice is very difficult. Telephone support is therefore inaccessible to me, and online webinars do not work for my needs. Services included in a membership offer little benefit if I cannot access them.

I finally found an event in Ipswich this November—the first local event I’ve seen since joining—only to discover there is an additional charge to attend. Having been unable to use the other membership services, finding another cost attached to an opportunity I might actually access is deeply disappointing.

Travelling elsewhere is difficult because of transport barriers. Events in Norfolk do not meet my need for accessible, local support in Suffolk. As Suffolk’s county town, Ipswich seems an obvious place for more regular events.

I would like to see the FSB provide more support through writing, more local events, and opportunities included in the membership fee. Accessibility needs to account for people who cannot comfortably speak or use the telephone.

I joined hoping for support while getting our business started. Instead, I feel overlooked and left behind.

Attended the North London on-line network this morning and made useful contacts (and new contacts) Already booked 2 follow-up 1:1s and expect at least 2 more. "Chaired" by David Clare really well and useful input from FSB staff. Great networking and v interesting ideas. Always try to get to this one.

I’m a relatively new member of the FSB and have found the organisation to be very friendly, helpful, and educational in many areas.

With particular emphasis on the online networking groups as well as attending the networking meetings that are in person, these are very good, especially in Leeds, West Yorkshire where we are based.

The staff and service that the FSB offers is excellent.

A fantastic Women in Business networking event with FSB. A great opportunity to meet inspiring women, share ideas and make genuine connections. Really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend attending.

I joined the FSB Connect Online South London event today. It was a wonderful session, a really engaged group of small business owners from South London and beyond. Sara, Rachel and Chipo did a great job making attendees feel comfortable and getting everyone involved. Looking forward to the next one.

EXCEPTIONAL EXCELLENCE

Today it was my first FSB network meeting with guest speaker from Morag - Greystoke business who gave insight business wisdom to all owners which was so valuable we also got a handout which was so useful.

This opportunity would not of been possible without the PHENOMENAL Chandra SHARMA who had been serving bromley business community over 15 years. I met with Chandra last week with my new business venture and he suggested this event. Chandra is such a phenomenal human who gives so much to so many businesses despite having his own company, I APPRECIATE YOU SO MUCH ..!!

Sensational Sarah King was so passionate about small businesses and was of great service and value others. Sarah gave great tips and knowledge to up and coming events.

Radiant Rachel Barnham was so enthusiastic and a fountain of knowledge regarding membership (please do sign up without going through Rachel) Rachel explained all the benefits of small businesses have access to like free legal advice and even offering counselling services if appropriate.

Super Sam Bowdenham was high energy and his postive vibes were infectious of how he assisting small businesses to grow.

The venue was MAGNIFICENT Bromley Clockhouse Town Hall what an opulent building it was such a privilege and pleasure to be there. Even the toilets smelt divine ..!!

I spoke to a few members of staff outside the network meeting and they also loved the building and felt privileged to work there ..!!

Lunch was provided which was fresh and scrumptious. The brownies were delicious..!!

I can’t wait for the next meeting I have already made sone great connections with other local businesses. And I know you will too ..!!

So don’t delay book yourself in today ..!!

Ive been a member in Kent for ~9 years & one single thing has made it worthwhile. Whenever I’m in the most stressful situations & need legal support I can phone the FSB & get support to find the solution to my problem with a solicitor.

That alone has alleviated many stresses that has made the membership price more than worthwhile

Great networking event at The Dock Shed in Canada Water this morning. Not your typical unstructured event - there were breakout tables where we were able to have conversations in small groups, participated in interesting tasks and still had time to mingle with everyone else in the room towards the end. Thanks team.

I attended the FSB Southwark event which was very organised, I met a lot of great people and very pleased I attended. I look forward to attending many more in the future!

I've just been in the online session for How to create a video without the cringe. It was so inspirational that I am starting my introduction video now! Thank you for the confidence to create my business videos and for helping get the information out there about sensory integration and using suspended equipment for your child's regulation needs. Attending the South London online networking session was a great way to spend my morning! It was so wonderful to meet a variety of small businesses... and learn so much along the way. Whether or not they turn into clients, it was great to share notes and learn from others' experiences. Thank you to the FSB team for organising!
