Travelled from the uk. Beautiful selection of dresses staff were amazing an made us all feel very welcome. Would highly recommend folkster for bridesmaids dresses. Well worth the travel

Absolutely amazing experience yesterday with my Mam & Bridesmaids. The reason I wanted to write this review was pretty much down to Ricki!! She made our shopping experience truly exceptional! She was just so lovely, knowledgable & so attentive without being invasive, the perfect balance for our shopping experience.. we all kept commenting on how lovely & helpful she was & how nice the experience was in there & we didn't feel rushed at all.. They have a great selection of dresses & colours vs other places we had been to. Mid range price point in regards to bridesmaids dresses vs other boutiques but the quality seems really good & they had fab belts also which were available at such a good price.. 100% recommend people to try the South William St store before going elsewhere, you won't be disappointed!! We're all on such a high after ordering the dresses, we love them that much & cannot wait to get them in the post next week! Thanks so much again Ricki!

I visited the store in Kilkenny to look for a mother of the groom dress. Chloe was so helpful, patient and expert at finding the style that suited me best.

I visited the South William street branch to look at their bridal selection and had the loveliest experience! Chloe couldn’t have been more helpful, she helped me in and out of a tonne of dresses and was so patient, she really listened to what I was looking for and helped me find the most perfect dress! I’m so excited to wear it for my wedding ♥️ Massive thank you to the gals here for making it such a nice memory, well worth a visit

I bought my mother of the bride dress here . I bought the wrong size . I got on to Ricki who was so helpful. There was just one of the size I needed in killkenny . Chloe comes up to the Dublin shop regularly. The darling girl brought my dress up on the train for me and I got to get my alterations done in time . Thank you so much Chloe for you wonderful warm and caring help it's so appreciated 👏

First off, the most beautiful shop ever. Secondly the beautiful Blaithnaid helped my bridesmaids find the dresses of dreams!! Her creative vision is insane! An absolutely fabulous experience from start to finish. Had so much fun! Couldn’t recommend enough. Loads of choice, something for everyone! Thanks a million Blaithnaid, I’ll be sending everyone your way

I went to Folkster in South William Street for my bridal appointment and Ricki was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! So attentive and lovely- suggesting dresses and styles without being overbearing. I don’t think it could’ve gone any ybetter! Walked out of there with an amazing wedding dress!
I can only recommend- the shop is beautiful, the dresses are gorgeous and the staff is absolutely amazing!

What made my experience amazing was all down to the beautiful Sarah in folkster Kilkenny. So professional and friendly, made it so comfortable for me, trying on wedding dresses and then picking out my dress. Absolutely loved working with her. She is/was so bubbly and is amazing at her job

Had our bridesmaid appointment in Ballymount with Leigh, and it was fantastic. She was so knowledgeable and patient, we loved it and successfully got 3 stunning dresses. And the best part is it's an Irish owned company and designer priced very competitively. #supportirish

What an amazing brand and even more amazing staff. Blanaid and her team are amazing 🤩 they go above and beyond everytime. I have bought so many amazing pieces from this beautiful Irish brand.

Thanks to Simone & Ricki they were able to assist me with an urgent dress swap ahead of an important wedding and they could not have been more helpful and supportive! The turnaround was fantastic and they were such a pleasure to deal with! Will absolutely be back thanks so much!

Cannot say enough good things about Folkster - had an appointment in Ballymount looking for a debs dress and it was such a pleasant experience- staff were so accommodating and helpful. We bought a dress that day but another dress had caught my daughters eye at the last minute but the Ballymount store didn’t have her size. She loved the dress she bought but this other dress was on her mind. I phoned the Sth William St store a few days later to explain the situation. The girl I spoke to ordered the other dress in straight away, extended the date for returns and phoned me as soon as it came in. Nothing was an issue - the customer service across both stores was top notch!
They have beautiful dresses for all occasions and are quite reasonable.

Sarah!! And the dresses. I found some really unique and different wedding dresses in Folkster that I loved, and though I didn't buy my wedding dress with Folkster, I have bought my bridesmaid dresses here. My Folkster bridal appointment has been a stand out in my mind as I felt so comfortable in the store and was offered privacy changing into gowns and getting help when needed. Sarah was phenomenal, so helpful and great at advising on styles.

I absolutely love Folkster for their beautiful & luxurious Irish clothing, perfect for that extra special look at formal events, or for just feeling that bit more unique & opulent!

Even more magnificent than the clothing is their customer service, the Folkster team are an absolute delight to deal with - I recently had to return an item (due to sizing), I have never had a more pleasurable experience in a ‘return & refund’ request – they just go that extra mile & are genuinely lovely, helpful & very accommodating.

Definitely 5/5 for clothing & people for me.

I visited this store last week and was so impressed by the staff. They were so attentive and friendly. Beautiful selection of products too.

I bought gorgeous earrings which were beautifully wrapped with a gift box.

I bought Folkster Fleur Midi Satin dress (€190), and Alena dress for my bridesmaids (€150). To say this was one of the biggest waste of money for my wedding is an understatement. While the dresses looked good for the first 5 minutes after putting them on, they were destroyed before even walking down the aisle. They are completely impractical. If the girls touched the dress with their (clean) hands, touched against a glass/chair/bouquet etc etc. it left a stain. Any attempts to wipe the stains created an even bigger more unsightly problem. In the end the brides had to stand in tactical positions to minimise visibility of stains for our wedding pictures and I had to ask the photographer to photoshop any visible stains. These dresses led to a very disappointing and uncomfortable day for my bridesmaids- exactly what I wanted to avoid by buying pricier dresses from what I belived was a reputable supplier!! It would have been better and more comfortable to wear dresses from Primark!

I bought a bridesmaids dress and the zip broke. I contacted Folkster the next week and their customer service was exceptional. I spoke to Simone who gave me a full refund and an online voucher, as well as just being extremely understanding and empathetic. It was obviously unfortunate that the zip broke but the other two dresses were perfect. Accidents happen but great customer service is rare!
