Had Lasik here in November 23. Would highly recommend this clinic, especially Dr David Allamby.
I had quite a high prescription with astigmatism, and I'd heard that can be quite complex - which it was, but Dr David handled it brilliantly.
I was an incredibly nervous patient, and I even rescheduled twice due to nerves, but the staff were all very helpful.
Recovery was quick and I've not had issues at all. It's one of the best things I've done! I've got 20/20 vision now, dryness has reduced significantly for me around the 4th month post op.
My advice is to research your case well and discuss any concerns with Dr David as he's very accommodating and patient.
Their 12 months finance option is also very handy!

Mr Samer Hamada must be credited as a gentle, easy going and kind surgeon who puts his patients at ease.
His thorough preparation and conversation with me prior to surgery at both the initial consultation, as well as on the day helped to keep me calm and I was pleasantly surprised by how painless the process was.
Recovery is still in its early days, however it's so nice to do basic things without needing glasses!
Thank you to the entire team at Focus for their kindness and attention. It deserves to have the reputation it does thanks to all the staff that work there.

All staff are very polite and welcoming. Everyone made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. Dr Allamby was amazing and made sure he explained everything before, during and after the surgery.

I made the best decision going with Focus clinic for my lasik eye surgery, I now have better than 20/20 vision, it’s changed my life…goodbye to glasses and contact lenses!
2 months later and I haven’t had any issues, I’ve had three check ups to make sure everything is ok and I have more to go :)

I’ve been thinking about laser eye surgery for a while looking where best to go was a bit of a minefield. I enquired at focus clinic and straight away knew this was the place for me. Everyone you meet in the process are so knowledgeable, caring and supportive all the way though. At surgery itself the team talked to me the whole way through and reassured me on what to expect it just passed so quickly. Friendly and helpful staff made my impulsive decision to get laser eye surgery extremely easy! I was booked in promptly and had a date for surgery around one month after my consultation. Everyone I spoke to listened and answered my concerns on surgery and after care, not to mention a few of the staff have had it done themselves so I was given honest answers. Mr Perera and his team were great in supporting me on surgery day. I went with Focus clinic as my mum had laser eye surgery with them back in 2009 and can still see perfectly. I am extremely happy with the results, and still shocked I no longer need to reach for my glasses!

At 47, with really short sight and astigmatism and had worn glasses since I was 3, I felt vulnerable without glasses. A friend of mine had been rejected for treatment at Focus, so I knew it wasn’t about the money. After meeting the team I had replacement lens surgery, using corrective lenses for short sightedness and astigmatism and near sight. Life changing. Dealt with thoroughly and professionally. My only complaint is that I could not find any reviews or comments by people like me! Under 50, no cataracts but effectively having cataract surgery. I can see when I wake up, in the shower, at the beach, when it’s raining, when I come in from the cold. I can wear bobble hats, running headbands, put clothes on without knocking my glasses off (!), over the ear headphones. I couldn’t write this review straight away as I was still sceptical, but a year in and genuinely it is amazing.

The attention and care that Focus Clinic team has towards its patients is outstanding. I couldn’t be more satisfied of the treatment I received, not only because it was very effective and professional, but also for the kindness and availability shown throughout the process by everyone. It’s comforting to see that there are still clinics that actually care about their patients and their standards of service, and that are not operating only to turn out a profit. Kudos to Dr Allamby and his team for having set up such an excellent practice, with extremely high standards and such warm dedication to patients.

The service from the initial consultation to the after care is fantastic. I had the surgery 2 weeks ago today and the team take really good care of you and are very accommodating.

On my first visit too the staff were brilliant thorough their assessment of my eyes. The consultant too gave me an extensive evaluation. The eye surgery was painless and very effective I am delighted with my results.
