Best in class experience and results
I had the ray-tracing guided LASIK performed 6 days ago and I am so pleased with the results. Only 1 day after the operation, my vision was already 20/12 (super-vision).
The consultations and scans were meticulously performed, and each part of the process was well explained in a clear way. On the day of, the operation was very quick and smooth (it must have taken less than 10 minutes total), and I felt well cared for throughout by Dr Allamby and his team, who took the time to talk through the steps so I could feel at ease. I felt no pain throughout the procedure, and apart from a minor headache in the first few hours post-op, I've had no discomfort since. The staff also provided me with post-LASIK care set with eye drops, steroids, etc.
I highly recommend Focus Clinics for their meticulous approach and commitment to high results and excellent care.

I would highly recommend Focus Clinic. The surgeon (Mr David Allamby) is brilliant, he reassures you and keeps you calm during the procedure. LASIK treatment with ray-tracing
Had LASIK treatment with ray-tracing. The doctors and all staff were very reassuring, everything was covered in detail and the process itself was very quick, about 3 minutes per eye (slightly uncomfortable understandably).
3 weeks later and I couldn’t be much happier with the result, perfect vision. Wish I had done it sooner.

Professional, helpful and innovative!
I had a wonderful experience at Focus Clinic. I was assessed by their friendly team who explained the preparation procedure, the ray-tracing guided lasik treatment itself and aftercare. I appreciated the optometrists support to recheck by prescription and correct mild imperfections in my left eye. The mildly undercorrected one eyes prescription, to allow a longer time before I required reading glasses. The procedure itself we well explained and the surgical teams bedside manner was reassuring and professional. Dr Allamby was gentle and explained the procedure as a running commentary. Post surgery support was marvellous. I have had my 24hr and 1 week checks already and all is in order. My last check required some drops for dry eyes which was promptly issued. I have been singing the Focus clinics praises to all who will listen!

Very pleased with the outcome!
Very pleased with the outcome of my laser eye surgery. All staff were very friendly and efficient. I rang out of hours and received a call back first thing the next morning which was very reassuring. The surgeon was very informative and took the time to talk me through the procedure and expected results in great detail, which I was very appreciative of. Thank you to all of the team and also to the ladies in theatre who were very kind and considerate throughout the procedure itself. Would highly recommend.

I had cataract surgery with Dr Hamada. My operations were more complex than usual (my eyes had keratoconus). The final result was what I was looking for (20/20 vision). I was very impressed with the level of care. Highly recommend!

Great service all around from the team and Dr Allamby. My eyesight now is better than 20/20. I chose the ray-tracing option too. I can't say I enjoyed the actual laser experience (!) but it was only 10 minutes and the recovery was fast.

Never reviewed anything but felt the need to do it for these folks. Never felt rushed or forced, always laid out everything upfront with safety in mind and informed they would stop if they deemed I was an outlier. Very happy with result. Would have been happy with 20/20 but 1 week post-op tested better than that!

LIFE CHANGING
LIFE CHANGING. It is completely uncanny to walk into Focus clinics needing glasses and walk out with 20/12 vision. My vision is so good I keep forgetting that I don’t have my glasses on- and when I go to bed I have to remind myself that I DON’T have to take my contacts out. Why didn’t I do this a decade ago?

A perfect service from an exceptional company
I rarely post reviews but having considered replacement lens surgery for a couple of years, without being confident enough in the services being offered to proceed, a friend recommended Focus and it was the best decision I could have made. From the first phone call, through to being signed off, the service was absolutely perfect. A friendly knowledgeable team, with vastly experienced surgeons, the amount of detail provided along with extensive testing and checking throughout, allowed me to be fully confident in the process. Surgery was painless, the follow up consultations were detailed and included some laser treatment to perfect the outcome. From a +6 prescription to perfect eyesight after wearing heavy glasses for 15 years feels like a miracle!
Focus is is a very special company and I thoroughly recommend David Allamby and his team to anyone considering eye surgery.
My sincere thanks for the whole team for such an amazing service, that really has changed my life!
