Waste of money, I don't recommend it. I spent £60/- and mat quality is very poor and it's gone in a week; I can't use it; When I reached the customer service within 14 days period; They didn't value the customer and didn't give me a proper response; Simply, waste of money;

Wow I never leave reviews but the service is shocking. Ordered 2 mats, eventually 1 turned up and they said they would look into where the second mat is and get back to me. Never did get back so I contacted them they then said there is a database error and they would not be sending me the mat. Not much use 1 mat which only covers half the room! Asked them to collect their mat and give me a full refund. No can do!

Shocking customer service. Been trying to get hold of them since September. Various emails, phone calls and none have been answered. My ‘hardwearing and durable mat’ is ripped and destroyed within a couple of months in a quiet family house. Not worth the money.

This is the most shocking customer experience I have ever had.
They never answer the phones - I have been disconnected 12 times in the last week having been on hold for c 10 mins each time.
They eventually respond to emails but never in the 4 hour time THEY profess. They ignore everything you ask for. I have been waiting for some items for over 2 weeks and they cant even tell me the company they have sent them though nor the tracking number. The WORST e-commerce experience ever. I would NOT recommend using them for anything.

Item has arrived, looks correct and yet to test. I think they need to up their customer service game here. Absolutely in the dark with everything and should something go wrong, like it has for other customers, there'd be no way of rectifying it.

I've reported this company to Trading Standards. I'll post a further update...

Ordered a mat to the cost of £66 on the 26th of January 2021, it's now the 9th of February. No delivery/tracking email sent, no answer on their phone line, no reply to emails. Still waiting. They're very quick to take your money.

Bought a PVC chair mat for carpeted floors to use with a wheeled office chair in a home office. Cracked leaving dangerous sharp edges and I have not been able to get any response out of this company through phone or email. Need investigating by the authorities

Gave this 1 star because I couldn't give zero. I thought I was quite a savvy shopper but I have been stitched up like a kipper here. Life lesson learnt. Dont use this seller at all!!! Totally agree with all the other reviews. Worst business for customer service that I have ever used.....ever!!!

Paid over £40 for a chair mat for carpeted floors back in Feb 2020. It was delivered in May 2020 and I allowed for the virus condition so was not very surprised. The mat made from something called PET was stiffer then the mat it was replacing. Feb 2021 it has cracked to such an extent that a hole has appeared in it that the chair castor naturally finds. Emailed the company but no answer. Reading other reviews, it appears that this company just does not care. I have to give them just 1 star but wish that Trustpilot had a category of no stars or even negative stars. Maybe that would make such companies as floormats.co.uk sit up and take notice.

Worst customer service ever. Ordered a mat from almost 2 months ago and haven’t received anything. A month ago they promised that my “super high quality and premium mat is being hand made” 2 weeks ago they told me that it was shipped and I should get it soon. Guess what? No mat and they are ignoring my queries regarding the order or tracking.

Seems like they drop ship cheap items from China because other mat I ordered broke in less than 2 weeks and they refused to refund money or send replacement

Wish I have read these reviews earlier. Bough as they advertised Super durable (will last for decades) floor/chair protector Matt. It completely broke after a week of use lol. Their company has 0 customer service, ignored my requests, offered me 16% discount to buy another Matt instead of refund.

Had to go to PayPal to PayPal hoping they will issue chargeback. Super bad quality products

This is a follow-up review to my post below. At the time I wrote the previous review on the 15th January 2021, the 2nd mat that my wife had was still intact. Well it is now 3 weeks later and her mat has cracked like mine and continues to deteriorate.

Wish I read these reviews before buying!! I bought 2 floor mats that have just completely fallen apart in less than 1 month.

I have reached out the customer services who offered me a small discount on future orders. This is not acceptable as I spent £70 on two mats which are now in several pieces and will need to be replaced.

Make sure you never order from FloorMatsUK.co.uk as they are stealing peoples money.

This is a fraudulent set up. Avoid at all costs. I paid over £100 for a matt that is yet to appear. I'm hoping that Paypal or my credit card company will be able to insure me against this payment. How sad that companies like this exist. Google search should not be endorsing this company.

The chair mat cracked after 2 weeks of use and rapidly cracked more and more until it broke into pieces. The response of the company was that they would not issue a refund unless it was returned to them in Germany for 'material tests' I pointed out that under UK law this is not required unless they pay for the return shipment, but they refused to pay for the transport or refund for the faulty goods. This product is rubbish and you should avoid this company

AVOID - DO NOT ORDER. SAME ISSUE, CRACKED IN 1 MONTHS NORMAL USE. ASKED ME TO RETURN PRODUCT TO GERMANY, NO REFUND OFFER BUT OFFERED A DISCOUNT TO BUY A REPLACEMENT. WHAT!!!!! SCAM ME ONCE THEN TRY TO DO IT AGAIN.

No idea how this company is even still trading at all. This is day light robbery. Same issues here really. Bought a carpet mat and it's cracked everywhere. Asked for a refund and was offered a 16% refund. Turned it down and they asked me to return it to a address in Germany. They stopped responding to me now. Reported to trading standards.

A fraudulent organisation. Please do not use. I have logged with action fraud and my bank to start a claim against them.

Sadly Like Hundreds of others I ordered from this Company and did NOT receive my goods.

Sadly for this scam company I am Barrister with at the moment too much time on my hands!!

Interestingly the the address in London at 54 -58 Tanner Street London SE1 3PH is NOT occupied by Floormats.co.uk or Dayton Home and Office.

I would suggest complaints are made to Banks and Credit Card issuers etc with a view to chargebacks.

Clearly this is a disgraceful company/individual/organization in which the appropriate legal action should be pursued.

The Individual Kutay Kazbek whom has responded on occasions to some complaints to users of Trust-Pilot Appears on Linkd-in.
I have included his details in my communication to the above organizations.

I hope this helps and that action will soon be taken to avoid others being duped.

I cannot believe the number of similar complaints raised against this company - I now wish I'd gone to Trustpilot first.
I bought an office chair bamboo protector for carpets
costing £59.90 just before Christmas. It arrived but in less than a week part of the bamboo splintered. I followed the returns procedure and at first Kutay was quite helpful. I returned photographs of the problem and was offered a partial refund if I kept the mat, but I was concerned it was going to get worse so asked for a full refund. I was then told to return the item to Germany postage being my responsibility. I refused to pay the postage quoting the "Consumer Rights Act 2015 that makes it an implied term of the contract that goods be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose". It also states that any returns policy which says I have to cover the cost of returning items must only relate to the situation where I change my mind about the item ordered and not where there is a problem with the item. The consumer should not lose out financially as a result of a breach of contract and accordingly all costs of returning the item should be met by the supplier.....
They have now gone 'underground' failing to respond to my recent messages.
I will be taking this up with my credit card company and Which.

I had exactly the same experience as all the other people who complained. The floor mat broke into little very sharp pieces within a fortnight. They asked me to send it back at my expense. I declined. Then they asked for photos which I sent. All obviously a delaying tactic. The person I was dealing with, Kutay Kazbeck, has now stopped anwering my emails. First a replacement mat was promised which never arrived. Then I asked for a refund and since then silence. I have tried to ring the company in the UK and in Germany. You can't get through as after a few minutes, the recorded message says that they are to busy to take your call or a closed. I have put in a dispute claim with my card company. I have also informed the German Consumer Association of the shady dealings of this company. I have also informed the McAfee Web Advisor who rated this company as safe, that it is not. I shall also write to Which, You and Yours and some consumer pages in National newspapers. This company must be stopped scamming people.
