Extremely Difficult to claim
Took out insurance with Flexicover,had to make a claim. To do this you have to get in touch with another company -Collinsons, then you have to fill in forms from yet another company-policy holder claims ,which never answers, and the information they require is very intrusive into your private matters . Would never use Flexicover again and would certainly advise other people not to use them

Older travellers insurance cover…
My travel company will only give cover to people 85 and under, so it is appreciated for older travellers like myself to find a company to cover us, or we could not go away on holiday. Well done flexicover.

The representative I spoke to was helpful and patient taking me through the medical questionnaire regarding pre-existing conditions; this was my main concern.

It was easy to understand
It was easy to understand. Step by step the process was made simple and could edit information easily. My children both have medical conditions and the price of the cover was amazing also .

Not happy
Don't use these people. I was delayed on my flight and, as a result, had to stay the night in a hotel at an airport through no fault of my own. I was insured for delays for up to £150 on my Flexicover policy. However, this turns out to mean £15 for every 12 hours of delay. Since my flight was only delayed by two hours, even though it meant I arrived well after midnight and couldn't travel onwards, they wouldn't even pay me the £15.

I’m sorry to hear that your flight was delayed, and that you claimed for the delay through your policy and that the claim was declined. Our travel delay cover is there to cover circumstances where your flight has been delayed for an extended period of time and where you might not also be entitled to compensation from the airline. This is standard within travel insurance policies across the market.
In the instance of a two hour delay, you might be entitled to compensation from your airline, dependent on their terms and conditions, so we would recommend checking with them to compensate any financial losses.
If you remain unsatisfied with the outcome of your claim, please follow the complaints process as outlined in your policy wording document.
