The hearth is effective and looks good from a distance. It doesn’t feel very substantial. On reflection I think I would rather have bought a piece of slate. There was a little chip on the corner but not worth the hassle of returning. I was a little disappointed with it. However it does the job for the price. After noticing this feedback the company got in touch and offered to exchange the hearth or give me a partial refund. They were very supportive and understanding. I really recommend this company.
