I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fins, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Fins stand out with its contemporary coastal design, brought to life by Sweet Sparkman and Tandem Construction. The ovate shape, polished windows, and unique fins on the rooftop make it hard to miss.
Its progressive approach to food and drink truly sets Fins apart. The menu changes daily, showcasing seasonal dishes crafted with local and fresh ingredients. The commitment to sourcing locally is evident, with partnerships with Venice Olive Oil Company, Dakin Dairy, Sutter's natural dairy products, and Ciao Gelato. As a steak and sushi lover, I was delighted that Fins excels in both areas. Their steaks, made from handpicked cattle and all-natural Meyer's meat, are a cut above the rest. And the Josper Oven, a captivating hybrid of a smoker and grill, imparts incredible flavor to its meats and vegetables. The sushi, crafted from locally-sourced ingredients and freshly-caught fish, was a delight to the senses. I was impressed by the ever-evolving rolls and bread, which change based on the availability of ingredients.
Even the youngest diners are catered to at Fins, with a Kids' Menu designed to please budding foodies. From an introduction to the California Roll to innovative flavor combinations like steak, pineapple, and tomato skewers, children will surely find something delightful.
