Even though we were only going on a 3 day safari, everyone at Far and Wild was so unbelievably helpful in choosing where to stay..which can be daunting given the massive choice on offer. Once we had decided where to go the organisation of the trip was perfect and I felt that we were in safe hands all the way. The transfers and travel required to get us from Zambia to Botswana all went without a hitch and is definitely not something we could have done alone. All round a brilliant experience and I would thoroughly recommend Far & Wild to anyone.

Far and Wild travel organised our wedding (legal ceremony) and honeymoon in south africa.

The wedding held during our 5 night stay in Garonga Safari camp along with the honeymoon (traveling to capetown and then staying at 3 locations on the garden route) was more than we could have wished for.

Ben and all the team at Far and Wild travel help to make organising such a trip feel easy and their knowledge of the accomodations and locations is excellent. They also answered any queries we had along the way in a timely and helpful manner.

The service from Far and Wild as well as the accomodations we stayed in was 5 star and the price was also very reasonable ( I know this as I did price up to book the whole holiday myself ). Little touches such as the pack that arrives before your travels with all contact details, routes for travelling by car from one location to the next were excellent and very helpful

We wish Ben and all the team the very best with the future and we will certainly be looking to book up through far and wild travel again in the future

Far and Wild organised an amazing safari in Kenya and time in Stone town and a Beach resort in Tanzania.
Everything worked like clockwork everybody was on time. The itinerary catered for us a couple in the seventies.
The attention to detail and knowledge about Africa was excellent
Have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone.
We were so happy their India specialist is looking at a trip to India for us.

We had our first holiday with Far&Wild this November 2018 to Selous National Park in Tanzania. We stayed at the Lake Manze Camp. We explained to Far & Wild that there were 7 of us and that we would be starting our holiday in Zanzibar. The company arranged everything from transfer from our hotel to all the internal flights and our wonderful stay at Lake Manze Camp. We are looking at going to India next and our first place to look will be with Far &Wild. Their service from start to finish was first class.

From start to finish Far and Wild provided a very personal service, tailoring each aspect of our Africa trip to our 'very fussy' requirements.

Our main contact was Rachael, who knew the areas we wanted to travel ( Nairobi, Masai Mara and ' A beach ending',) and she worked through many options keeping to our budget and giving many many suggestions given the time of year and the hotel choices , whilst also suggesting further options if we wanted to go wild(er) with our trip .

Whilst away on the holiday the team were just a phonecall away if we needed to change plans, which at one point we needed to and Ben and Coraline were absolute stars in this respect, and put in some changes without hesitation.

we are already planning our next adventure ( India) and will certainly be looking to Far and Wild again .

We had a great safari experience. Far & Wild handled the complex transfers without any glitch at all. Slight problem with the accommodation at the Lodge but this was sorted as best as anyone was able to in the situation. Chobe was amazing

We only at the booking stage our Botswana safari and so far the attention and comittment to making this a holiday to remeber have been superb. We had a few concerns regarding our flights and our Travel Co-ordinator Florence has been both understanding and amazing in finding us the right balance for our holiday. So if the rest of our trip lives upto Florences high standard then it will be amazing.Cant wait to get started.

Ben at Far and Wild was extremely helpful in suggesting places of interest to visit in Ethiopia, after talking to me on there phone about my interests and work. His enthusiasm for Ethiopia was infectious and I'm glad I was persuaded to check it out! I visited various ethnic groups in south Ethiopia and the Simien mountains with its wildlife and dramatic backdrop of the Rift Valley. Both areas are very different from each other and very special parts of the world.

Our guide on the ground was very knowledgeable, helpful and organised. Accommodation was always good and sometimes with fantastic views as a bonus.

Ben knows Ethiopia well, so if you are curious, speak with him about what Ethiopia has to offer. You won't regret going!

Our Safari holiday to Kenya was a trip of a life time. We had spent years (literally) saving for it, but when it came to booking it I didn’t really know where to start. I contacted a number of companies, but there was something about Ben at Far and Wild that made me go with them. He had an excellent knowledge of the country and seemed to understand exactly what we wanted. We changed our mind a few times, and Ben was totally understanding and non judgmental. There was never any pressure - just helpful suggestions.

The result was indeed the holiday of a lifetime. Words will never do it justice - an INCREDIBLE experience. The accommodation was first class and the guiding out of this world. The organization was smooth and efficient from beginning to end. I can’t stop thinking about it!!!! L

I have to say that I thought this would be a once in a lifetime trip BUT it was so amazing I am going to start saving again NOW....and I will certainly use Far and Wild again - BRILLIANT!!!!
