Formula One Autocentres - Redditch Anmeldelser 

Went online, bought 2 Yokohama tyres 195/65/15 H - it says 6 £ off with promo code. Tried to claim it. Error. Code expired... ok had appoitment at 16.15 went there asking for that discount. No joy. Online only. Ok
Left my car for an hour. Having phone call off them saying , tyres are not here yet. You have to wait till tomorrow.
Asking why, branch manager. He says - I dont know is over my head. Cant do anything now. We need to wait. So we are waiting. Still no information from them. It is after 21 hours.... no good
16.30 24hrs after
Phoned them up asking if tyres are there
Nope. Coming tomorrow
What a joke
So after that review customer service contacted with me over the phone...
Saying due to computer error I had to wait extra 48 hrs for my tyres. Offered free vouchers for Formula 1 AT fair play...
Went there this afternoon. Tyres are done.
1.Still no discount as per online offer.
2.No free winter check done , no free screen wash added as per online offer...
Which I have ordered as well....
So still not good experience with Redditch branch

we had breaks changed at the Redditch branch in April 2023, then at the service in June 2023 the breaks were extremely worn already. Took the van back to the Redditch branch and they claimed the calliper was the issue so we paid another £600 and had this changed and the breaks again. 3 months later the van was due an MOT, took it to a different garage and shock horror the break pads were warn AGAIN. But this time they were warn so unevenly that one side was fine and the other was down to bare minimum. I called the Redditch garage and spoke to Ben who promised a refund of the works completed as he had no time slots to fit the van in on that day and the van was not safe to drive back and forth. We took all the invoices and the worn break pads back to the garage and spoke to the ‘manager’. After waiting over a week for a refund we have only received 1/2 of what we were expecting. I called and yet again spoke to the manager who has claimed that’s all they will be refunding despite what Ben had promised. This will be the last time I will ever trust formula one to complete any work. We have spent over £800 in the space on 6 months for them to fit breaks and have now had to fork out another £200 to get them correctly fitted. The branch manager has stated that Ben had no right to promise us a refund of any kind so he has done us a ‘favour’ he then proceeded to call me sweetheart and talk to me like I had no clue what was going on. I have never spoken to a manager so incompetent and rude before. After taking advice from the mechanic at the current garage he has said it’s clear they have been forced on at an angle and they hadn’t even fitted the sensor back on.

Pre booked Mot test at Redditch branch 4 days before test, confirmed by email by them .
Arrived this morning to be told their examiner had walked out recently so couldn’t do test. They say they tried to contact by phone but no call missed and no text so doubtful. Their resolution I was Told to contact head office who would see if they can book me in another branch . Wast of 4 day’s waiting. Why allow booking if don’t have 3xaminer?

Friendly, polite and did a great job at a good price!

Booked an appointment for the fitting of two tyres which had already been paid for online. Delayed by an hour before staff even started work on my car. What is the point of the appointment system? management should turn away work knowing that appointments are booked in advance, what a joke, shocking customer service!!!

Use the redditch branch twice now and excellent service on both occasions. Happy with the service and will be using in future when needed.

My first visit today. Tyre pressure check needed and I had not been able to reset the warning light.

Amazing service, really friendly and was able to sit in a nice comfortable area to wait.

They also sorted the issue and did not charge me anything! I would definaltly recommend, and I had gone to them today following a recommendation from a friend.

Really helpful and kind staff who did absolutely everything to save me from having to buy a new tire when I had a puncture.

Redditch branch absolute waste of time. Took payment online for aircon re-gas. Turn up they don’t do the newer type of gas. Why put your reg in if it doesn’t tell them. Never use them for anything again. Take payment straight away but have to wait for refund.

Whilst travelling to a weekend break the exhaust blew. Lewis and team ordered part and repaired exhaust in two hours. Lewis kindly took us back to the hotel as no cabs available most efficient and friendly service. At the Redditch branch Much appreciated Ken Taylor Grays Essex

I tried F1 Autos for the first time today and the service from the chaps at the Redditch (Washford Drive) branch was fantastic. I had my Aircon checked and re-gassed and both the manager and the gentleman who did the work (he was actually the chap who trains the rest of the staff) were great. Highly recommended I will definitely be going back to F1 again.

The manager and staff at the Redditch branch were friendly, polite and professional.
They diagnosed the issues and said how much it would cost.
I would definitely go back if I had any other issues with my car

Don’t take your car to these clowns. Took my pride and joy for an Mot there today. They thought it was acceptable to rev the absolute nuts of the car the to warm the engine up. Red lining a car is not acceptable. Apparently this is what they do at this place. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

F1..Redditch should be very embarrassed with the work they had carried out on our Alfa...which came back to us with new problems we never had with the car before it went in...after paying £967.50 for a clutch then having to go back because of a knocking noise and steering alignment..they told us the flywheel was worn which then cost £436..but the knocking noise was still there when we got it back..and the gears became difficult to select..I called customer services .. Andy Warner reginal manager contacted me back.. I explained what we had gone through over the last few days..it was agreed that I could take it to another garage to have them look at it..and I was to send him a copy of receipt and my paying in details as he would sort a refund..the garage we normally use were now free to look at the car and had to replace anti roll bar links and repair gear select cables. Which corrected the problems created by F1..I,sent in the details to A Warner ..but had to chase that up again with customer care and emails..the car now has a starter motor problem which seems such a coincidence.. since it would of had to of been disturbed when F1 had changed the clutch and flywheel...the inconvenience of going back and forth to the garage because of F1 poor workmanship is disgraceful..as my partner needed the car repaired ASAP because she works as a community psychiatric nurse..initially it was said by Lewis it will be fixed in a day..complete false promises...I have been very honest to a point of being too polite writing this review..its been a very stressful 2weeks for ourselves which I would not wish on anyone..all down to poor quality service which was very costly and has been very hard to afford..from our experience we could never trust or recommend F1 Autocentres for allowing this to happen.. All I'll be getting back is £110 which I had to pay the garage we usually go too..to correct F1's mess.. which considering the work done was very reasonable..but now the starter motor problem.. if its found that its because of F1's work..I will be contacting customer care again to claim compensation which we believe would be fair...

Made some arrangments to squeeze me in for a mot for my polo so i took it down with my brother

Went for pressures and they done a great job to squeeze me in and do a winter check too
