Formula One Autocentres - Peterborough Anmeldelser 

I have used this garage for several years and have always been very happy with their service. This time was very different. I have only rarely encountered such an awkward difficult experience. I bought 4 new tyres and although the tyres are OK, my experience there was frustrating. Next door to them is Mr. Tyres. Their customer care is vastly superior. That is where I will go in future.

We have always had good service from our Peterborough Branch

Had two tyres replaced at the Peterborough centre, both tyres were flat a week later. Incompetent fitters so suggest people avoid them.

They damaged my exhausts, then covered it up by sabotaging my cat.

They replaced my back box some time ago, I saw the whole exhaust drop from the waiting room (I didn't know any better at the time).

We noticed that despite claiming that they didn't touch my midbox, it had been replaced and had a completely different level of wear to the rest of the exhaust.

My flex joint had been completely wrecked by being pulled back so hard, which didn't fail immediately but is what lead to us discovering what they'd done.

When coming in to have them look at my flex joint (because it was blowing) they said that I had a blockage of some kind and wanted to investigate.

We replaced the flex joint and cat ourselves, when removing the cat we discovered several large chunks of dislodged cat mesh. Then when inspecting the cat itself there are no missing pieces.

As I have not had my car worked on by anybody else this is an extremely strong but not conclusive indication that:
When they changed my back box, they dropped the exhaust and broke the mid box, replaced it with something they had laying around, and putting chunks into the rear end of my cat so that they could diagnose that issue later (clearly not expecting me to do the work myself)

Edit: I contacted the customer support and heard nothing back.

I have visited the Peterborough branch several times for last minute repairs and maintenance. Tom is always polite and helpful and takes the time to properly explain the work required. Parts and labour costs are reasonable and explained beforehand. I can particularly recommend this branch for solving tracking issues. Keep up the good work!

Went to Peterborough branch for air con recharge. Staff courteous and efficient and job fully explained and done very efficiently and price was brilliant. No hesitation in recommending them.

I booked in to have my wheels balanced which my car was basically in and out which was well needed on a bank Holliday.
The area is very tidy and clean which is a big surprise when comparing to other car and tyre places which shows the pride and professionalism within the workspace.
Tom was very helpful and went up and beyond his way to make sure we had a comfortable experience and made us feel him and his young lad were the right people for the job.
I will definitely be taking my car back here if anymore work needs done (hopefully not anytime soon.)
Would recommend to anyone and the prices are very fair and reasonable:)

My husband and I had 2 car MOTs today. We have used Formula One auto centre for MOTs for a long time and have always taken advantage of a great discounted price too. Tom (at reception) is friendly, very polite and helpful. Thanks to everyone there.

It passed! which is always nice. Tom was friendly, polite and professional throughout. They did all the work quickly. And it was very competitively priced too, as was the oil and filter change.
Highly recommend.

I just called in in the hope someone could help with my wiper blade replacement as it was proving tricky to do it. The young apprentice and his manager were fabulous and friendly and really helped me out. I am looking for a new MOT and service centre and these guys have certainly made me want to use them Thank you.

Whilst carrying out the MOT a nail was found in one tyre. They removed the nail, checked and re-inflated the tyre. Provided advice and no additional cost.

I booked my car in for a full service this week, I had to change the drop off time slightly which they were very accommodating with. They were great at commuting what needed doing and didn’t do any work without asking me first. Everything was handled on a friendly, professional manor and I was very happy with the work done and service provided. Would definitely recommend

So initially forgot that I paid for wheel alignment too.

Drove off to find
1) they had put the wrong tyres on - another customers
2) the wheel alignment was for a different car.

Super friendly and efficient staff, lovely waiting room that was surprisingly cool on the hottest day of the year. Will 100% return and recommend to friends and family.

Book in online for the day in advance, called day before and everything. Cant do my air con as don't do new style..... My cars 2017 so hardly new. I didn't get told this on the phone no..... Let's make me come in and waste time.

No communication, no contact, no fore thought for the customer. Shocking service!!

Then refund takes 3-5 days for their incompetence.

Thought I would add to this.... After writing the review they try to contact to discuss but only when they're available and ignore emails stating when you wish to talk it through. After just emailing a couple of times always ignoring my reply they suggest I remove the review!!! Pretty shocking. Nope it's staying here....

I needed to fix my car horn to pas the MOT so went to visit the garage opposite Peterborough's F1 Autocentre. I'd been quoted up to £70 to replace. The garage was unexpectedly closed so I stopped off at F1 on my way out. Daniel popped open my bonnet and fiddled around for a minute and got the horn working. He said it was simply corrosion, and didn't want payment for his work. Gave a funny line also about 'YouTube mechanics'.
I'll be going to F1 for any future repairs.

Booked MOT through 3rd part website. Phoned up to confirm appointment and ask about Tyre prices. They said "it's all fine, see you saturday" and gave me some great quotes. Arrived on Saturday and they told me they didn't have my appointment, never heard of me and couldn't fit me in. Waste of time

We have used f1 before but we had our mot booked in for today. To start with they helped me put the new locking wheel nuts on my car and when my mot failed they did all they could to help fix my car to make it pass. Great customer service from Daniel! Really went above and beyond. Couldn’t fault the team in Peterborough!
