Didn't need to wait. The issue was checked out and advice given. Upon the planned visit the following day, again I didn't need to wait and the tyre problem was seen to very quickly. Reece was particularly helpful, cheerful and polite - excellent!

Had one new tyre and tracking done on the Wednesday, on Saturday I'm having to pull over at the side of the road to work out what the clunky, rattling noise is coming from the front of my car. Discovered all four wheel nuts on the wheel they replaced the tyre on need tightening... and all four turned easily with hardly any pressure needed. Once I tightened them there was no more rattling noise. Never had anything like this happen with other garages I've had new tyres from in the past. Emailed the careline and have given them nearly three weeks to respond before posting a negative review but as of today still haven't even had an acknowledgement of that email. Won't be going out of my way to use an F1 Autocentres again.

EDIT: Gavin the branch manager has got in touch and apologised for the delay in response and the issue with the tyre so things have now been resolved. As I told them in my email I had no issue with staff or service on the day. I'm not one to hold an honest mistake (or unavoidable mechanical mishap) against someone so am amending from 2 to 4 stars.

Would highly recommend and will 100% use again and next time I will make sure there are some dogs to play with 😂

Overall a good experience but follow up adjustments to 'free' alignment check heading skywards

I have used Formula 1 many times and found their service to be really good.

However, in September 2021 I made arrangements for my car to have its Annual MOT at the Bexhill branch.

I was not surprised when the Manager called me & informed me that my car had failed the MOT.

All of the items were duly documented & so I agreed & left the car with them to do the work,

I was not in any rush for the car because I was having treatment at my local hospital & so was unable to drive for a short term,

I was notified that the car had been repaired, so I collected the car & drove it home, a journey of about half a mile,

However, I noticed that the car was not driving very well and was pulling to the right & then to the left making the drive feel very uneasy & unsafe. Because of this I returned the car to Formula 1 for further inspection,

They kept the car for about a week saying that the car now needed more work to fix the problem. I have to say I was clearly not happy having now spent over £800 on the MOT & the additional repair that was found after the car was returned to F1,

In my absence my flatmate had collected the car with my agreement to do so,

He reported to me directly that the car was still driving badly & he considered the vehicle to be unsafe to drive,
Also the car broke down & was later recovered & returned to F1 by the AA,

F1 the following day refused to get involved as the car was now showing an electrical fault & required an auto electrician to diagnose the problem,

It was at this juncture that I contacted the Motoring Ombudsman for advice,

The RAC recovered my car & diagnosed the fault in a report which I have now submitted to the Ombudsman for further investigation,

The independent Auto electrician confirmed what the RAC patrolman had identified as the problem,

The wiring loom had been unclipped from its housing & had been left dangling over the gear box linkage/gear selector on top of the gearbox thus causing severe damage to the wiring loom by the loose wiring loom being caught by the gear linkage/ gear selector and the wiring loom being chewed up by the gearbox gear linkage /gear selector & the power steering pump also had issues,

As a result of the wiring loom being badly damaged this created a loss of power for the car and also made the car constantly blow fuses and made the car constantly have issues starting and the car kept cutting out,

F1 have refused to accept any responsibility for the cause of this damage & yet the car also under performed when being driven along with many other issues due to the wiring loom being badly damaged,

As my complaint escalated with the Ombudsmen I was contacted by The F1 Area Manager who made arrangements for my car to be returned to an independent F1 branch, who carried out an independent inspection.

They agreed to be at fault & replaced the tracking adjusters & completed a full wheel alignment. However, this has not fixed the original problem, I have collected the car & driven it home under caution & duress. I have found to he car to be unsafe & if the car was to undergo another MOT it would again fail.

I will further add that on driving home we were stopped by the Police due to the noticeable movement of the car.

I cannot elaborate on how dissatisfied I have been with F1 who are clearly showing no interest,

My complaint now lies with the Motoring Ombudsman for further investigation & I'm hoping will reach a settlement in my favour against expenses, damage caused & losses due to not being able to use the car for the past 4 months.

Given all of this I have awarded F1 one star which I feel has been more than they deserve!

Very happy with my experience I had 2 tyres fitted to my car they also cleaned the air con and part of the deal was a full winter check I dropped the car off at the time selected to me and was informed when car was ready.Nice and easy with no problems

Polite and helpful staff.
I mistakenly turned up at the wrong site and was re-directed. I just wanted to say that the staff were equally friendly, welcoming and helpful at both sites.

Very good value for money on 4 Goodyear tyres, polite staff, tyres fitted on time, only minor grumble is cost of tracking.

Excellent service, booked on line, staff friendly and decent waiting area. All good.
