Hi,for anyone thinking of using this garage don't bother,had my van booked in this afternoon by the area Manager Richard to be told when I got there it was too big a job for a Friday afternoon (starter motor 3 bolts and 2 wires)it's cost me finishing work early to take it in and cost me working tomorrow due to the incompetence of this garage,I will be pursuing my complaint further but I won't be going again or recommending!!!!!!

Would highly recommend this garage to anyone that needs one. The manager always goes out of his way to help, even when he’s rushed off his feet.
Been using this garage for as long as I can remember and never had any issues.

I have taken my car to this place a few times over the years for MOT's and services. I've always had a good experience with the guys that work there, they are helpful and professional, especially Chris and Leon. I have and would recommend these to anyone.

A few years ago I used F1 Autocentres Lichfield for two new front tyres.
As it’s best to have the new tyres on the rear of the car, I asked if after they had replaced my tyres would they please switch them around so the new ones were on the rear and the older ones moved to the front.
I’ve been driving for over 40 years and over those years had many tyres replaced, nowhere have I ever had a refusal to do this.
Well for F1 Autocentres Lichfield it’s too much of a problem. They refused and stated it’s not part of their service.
I posted a review on Trustpilot at the time stating my dissatisfaction and that I wouldn’t or use them again.
Due to this review I was contacted by the then area manager who apologised and said they should have done as I had requested and promised it wouldn’t be an issue in the future, so I agreed to remove the Trustpilot review and give them a second chance.
Since then I have used F1 Autocentres Coalville and they have been superb, nothing is too much trouble for them.
Fast forward to today, due to circumstances I had no choice but to try Lichfield branch again, I wish I hadn’t.
I arrived in good time for my appointment and eventually the branch manager Chris came to the reception, I again asked for them to rotate my tyres and was met by another point blank refusal. Again saying it’s not part of their service, he would need to put it on a ramp which were in use and in his opinion it wouldn’t be right to jack one side of the car at a time even if it was only for just a couple of minutes.
I explained that I would be giving a negative review and he just shrugged his shoulders and took my key.
When he came to give me my invoice he said that he had put a note saying that he was too busy to swap my tyres around and he would do it another time if I returned in the future, it would have taken him an extra 5 minutes to do. I now need to take my car home and switch them around myself. Spent £350.00 on 2 tyres and have to do part of the job myself.
I’m not saying that all F1 Autocentres are the same as they are not, but the level of customer service at Lichfield is awful and the branch manager’s attitude isn’t any better.
Update.
I have now spoken to the area manager Richard Bromley, much was said and he unsuccessfully tried to justify the actions of Chris and twist the truth to suit themselves. My opinion of F1 Autocentres is unchanged and I would urge people to think twice before using this garage.

I have left a voice message for the area manager but so far I’ve not received any reply.
I won’t be removing this review this time and wont bother using F1 Autocentres in the future.

Chris the Assistant Mngr and Mark were both top class - Very helpful and got me out of a predicament.

Chris and his team are very helpful and explain what work they’ve done on my vehicle.
Not being a mechanic, I find their knowledge very interesting and helpful.

I have used Formula One in Lichfield for a number of years now. Just had my car MoT'd and the oil changed.
Chris and the team were very polite, courteous and helpful as always, and the prices are, as they say, hard to beat Due to my disability, they fit me in while I wait in the comfortable viewing area.

I had my car mot'd today at F1 in Lichfield. I had prebooked this online, which was so easy. I received a very warm welcome from Chris and his team and stayed in the waiting room, which is very comfortable. Leon started on my car straight away, even though they were extremely busy. I can happily report my car passed, thanks to Leon. I will be going back in December to have some new tyres fitted. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else, these guys are brilliant and I can highly recommend Formula One Autocentre, Lichfield.

Chris and the team at Lichfield - Today I booked my van in to get 2 slow punctures looked at.
To be honest I was fully expecting to be told that the tyres would need replacing to the tune of nearly £200.
This wasn't the case!
I was pleasantly surprised to be told that both tyres had been repaired and my work van is back on the road for less than £50!
This shows that the guys at the Lichfield branch are trustworthy and honest. They repaired my tyres, instead of replacing them, where many others wouldn't.
For this reason I'll be using this particular garage for all van repairs and servicing moving forward.

Chris was very clear and helpful with my choice for tyres for my Audi .
I would 100% recommend

100% recommend these guys. Rolled in at 5 minutes to 6pm on a Friday having driven nearly 200miles from Newcastle as my dash was showing the oil indicator light. Chris Wright kindly topped up my oil and gave the car a once over before i was back on my way for another 200miles. If i was local I'd use these guys as my regular mechanics. Honest, friendly and ptofessional. Cheers again Chris, I've told my aunty in Lichfield and the rest of the family down there to start using you guys.

Excellent service for a late booking MOT everything worked fine and text reminder, prompt attention on the day and clean waiting area made the experience faultless would recommend
