Formula One Autocentres - Dartford Anmeldelser 

I have been using Formula One Dartford for over 5 years for tyres, MOTs and other small jobs and never had an issue. The head office customer service is excellent too, for instance I booked in for an aircon service and there was an issue with my car so I got a full refund quickly with no hassle.
I can only assume the poor reviews are people that either don't know their cars or understand the issues they have as my experiences have been nothing but excellent.

Fitted us in last minute on a Sunday. Great service, friendly and helpful.

what an absolute JOKE of a company !! I am FUMING. they have charged me triple the price of my car parts. I asked for TWO front break discs and TWO front break pads. CHARGED ME £600 !!!!! all because i was a young female on my own. SEXIST. the only reason i know this is an incorrect price after already paying may i add, was because i asked my manager. i have no idea with cars and they have taken the absolute p*ss out of me. if you are a female in dartford, NEVER USE THE COMPANY THEY WILL MUG YOU OFF

Absolutely first class, nothing was too much, very friendly and approachable and the price can’t be beat, F1 will be my go to from now on

Terrible experience, wrong details for my car was given.had to return twice. Brought the car in to garage for 30 minutes plus and no one even went near it and then came to me and said they couldn’t find anything wrong. Had to take them on test drive myself before they put it on the ramp and replaced the pads that solved the problem.

I Have been to Dartford before in April to Get my Tyres Changed on My Mercedes Excellent Job this time I Challenged my other Cars Tyres on a Mondeo Brought From they Budget Range the Tyres I Changed I Bought in August 2020 I have Done 25,000 Miles on them but it Still passed the MOT I Decided to Change the Tyres 🛞 Now

Would Recommend the Budget Range all Fitted for £200 for Tyres including Balancing

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - Utterly awful and untrained staff!

Please avoid this business unless you wish to be quoted for work which does not need to be undertaken.

Staff quoted for work on a vehicle without completing any simple diagnostics, to the tune of £4000!!! I took the vehicle to another garage where the issue was identified and repaired for £109.

The issues supposedly found were formally sent to myself along with a supporting quotation for the work required. The second garage completed a full diagnostics to which none of the said issues were present.

Staff clearly untrained in simple vehicle mechanics and powers above unbothered by the actions of their staff. Clear and evident how this company operates.

Always go to Formula One for my MOTs. Very happy with the service they provide. Many thanks

Had MOT done at Dartford centre. The guys were friendly, helpful and very efficient. Would recommend them to friends and family.

They just keep my car without reason and do not reply via Email or give me any feedback if i get my car back .... i think i`ve to ask a lawyer to get my car back. What a joke this company is ?!

This was my first MOT carried out by F1 Autocentre Dartford as the test centre I have used for many years now lies inside the ULEZ zone, and my car is non compliant. I dropped it off 20 minutes prior to the 11:30 booked time. The radio, set on Smooth Radio was turned off, the climate control set on 20 degrees x2 auto zone was also turned off by me, and the driver's seat set to suit me. When I returned to collect the car at 12:45 I was very pleased to be told it had passed. Happy days. I got in to find the drivers seat backrest was in a very reclined position. Ok, fair enough, we're not all the same shape and size plus it was easily reset by the press of a button. However, as I began to drive away I realised that the radio was turned on and tuned into some modern station playing what I would describe as "oompf, oompf, oompf" music, utter tripe which I would not listen too, ever. Add to that, the climate control was now on, both zones were turned up to the maximum temperature, the zone area deployed on the screen and face vents (not auto where I set it) and the fan speed was half way on the manual scale, where if I had left it on it would have been also on auto. I just assumed that my car had been driven round on a road test for some reason although I didn't think that was something done these days in conjunction with an MOT test. If that is indeed the case that's fair enough, providing that it wasn't driven into the ULEZ zone. Time will tell!

My first time there and was recommended by a mechanic to go for my alignment so I called to make a booking in the for midday . But I happened to in the area before my time so I decided to and see if they can serve and luckily they said yes and within 35 minutes the job was completed. Thanks for your help. I will definitely recommend which I have already done.

I went to formula 1 dartford on Sunday and met a lovely man named Jordan, I was very distressed as I had been waiting for 4 hours waiting for green flag to recover me for a tyre change. When I arrived I was immediately greeted by Jordan he was the most professional person I have ever met in all my years going to any garage, even tho he was busy he made time for everyone and was very polite and professional in everything he did and actually made time for his customers. It was amazing how well he had picked up the business as my chat with him it was only his 5th day in the company and it was like he had been there years. I didn’t hear very good things about this branch before however now that Jordan is here I would recommend it to anyone and was glad I gave it ago. Formula one you have gained a true asset in Jordan and i will be back! Thank you so much Jordan and best of luck with your career

Booked 4 tyres to be fitted via Dartford on the f1autocentre website, arrived on the booked day before my time(15 mins early as stated on the website) to be told their tyre fitting machine was down and my tyres could not be fitted. Why did f1 not contact me prior via phone or email to save me coming in??.

One of the workers said "it might be fixed today well call you", that's it no apologies or alternative help. Luckily I lived local so didn't travel miles in. Called the centre later that day to be told the machine was not fixed and no eta for when it would and they would call me. Tried calling the next day still down so rang head office and complained. They knew nothing of the machine being down(what kind of business runs like that?).

Guy at head office emailed the tyre centre and they called me back to ask if I could go to Orpington centre to get my tyres fitted(no time slot just turn up and see if they can fit me in????. I had no choice as I dont know how long I would wait otherwise. Had to go and pick my tyres up from Dartford the next day then travel To orpington at my expense. Waited until they could fit me in which turned out to be around an hour and half wait before my tyres where finally fitted.

I will give give credit to the guy at head office for getting things moving and also the manager at Oprington centre as they had to fit me in at short notice. My gripe if the lack of professionalism and lack of communication. I still dont have my receipt yet either, I would honestly never use f1 autocentres again, even if they where cheaper. A badly run company.

Booked an MOT on 12th April for 16th May, branch left it until 17:49 the evening before the mot at 8.30am to phone and tell me they can't do the mot due to staff shortage, my MOT expired that day. This left me 10 mins to panic and call every garage I could to try and get a last minute MOT booked, I understand sickness but this would have been known before this time and I should have been given much better notice

Not happy and has put me off ever using f1 again

Their only saving grace was the head office support recieved was good

Staff here are top class!! Graham was super helpful in getting me booked in and telling me where it was ok to wait, and Steve was very thorough as I was watching through the viewing window. Also 2 new tyres the young lad was straight on it and completed that quickly. Always polite, and efficient at their jobs! Work is carried out 10/10! What a fantastic team you have!

Dartford branch are very friendly and helpful. Had a tyre changed a couple days ago and the branch were very accommodating.

An absolute joke of a company. I booked an MOT for my Audi Q7 with 6 days notice, part of the online booking process is identifying the vehicle via the number plate. Upon arrival, and without even looking at the car, the manager said 'ah the Q7 we cant do it'. Why I asked, he replied 'its too big for our ramp'! As I used the same branch last year I asked if it was a new ramp, 'no'. So what's different from last year then? - 'the examiner' was the reply! When I asked why nobody called me in the last 6 days to save me a one hour round trip, 'I've been too busy' was the reply!!! Shocking service leaving me to find another place to get my MOT before it expires tomorrow. So if you have a Q7, Range Rover, Volvo V90, VW Touareg, BMX X or any other large SUV take it elsewhere...
