How are everyone putting good reviews…

How are everyone putting good reviews on this courier, my 80 year old mum has had very bad experience by these people… items broken, and then tryed to replace them with dirty replacements, which did not match.. painting has gone missing, a box which has my pass away dads personal items in there… then there are discrepancies over extra payment to which he said needs to be paid, the payments have gone up and then gone down… no offer of compensation for the loss and broken items, just tryed to pass it off with dirty items… NOT once did this man ever communicate with me, to say when he will bring my mums items, he just turned up, and expected someone to be in…
I have had no choice but to take legal advice and action against this person… I am very disappointed…. And will NOT recommend this company to anyone…. I have pictures of the table and chairs that was somehow broken, and the ones he tried to replace with….

Feedback above is a copy of the negative feedback received few days ago from Wigald and is related to the same NO PAYMENT dispute. We have honestly admired damaging 2 garden plastic chairs and garden plastic table for which the generous replacement (4 chairs, table and parasol stand) was offered and accepted
on delivery. All jobs are traceable via live tracking accessible by customers as per our Terms & Conditions and Heather received the access link to join to be aware of the planned delivery. CMR contract clearly states : RECIPIENT 24/7 flexibility required. as per our T&C.
All payments are due up front and calculated as per customs inventory list provided by sender (no inventory provided by sender in this case). One of the boxes was misplaced by us but issue rectified immediately. Customer broke T&C of our service not declaring illegal goods for which the international transport is strictly regulated and also PROHIBITED as per our T&C.
Person (Wigald) handling transport preparations failed to provide all require paperwork resulting in delays and complications. Their allegations accusing all other feedback we have received from other customers being false and only theirs 2 negative feedback showing the truthful justification is simply ridiculous.
In over 13 years of our operations we haven’t dealt with such ignorance, anger and incompetence.
Sadly Trustpilot allows retaliative feedback being posted by multiple person related to just ONE delivery dispute which makes me believe there will be more negatives coming posted by friends and relatives and all related to this ONE SINGLE order.
Balance of over £250 remains UNPAID.
Secondary feedback appealed to Trustpilot and awaiting reply.

Top notch service once again from Expat Couriers

I think this is the 3rd or 4th time I've used Mike and Expat Couriers to transport our belongings between the UK and Bulgaria. I now wouldn't use anyone else. Mike took care of all the official paperwork required and is always a simple message away and super friendly and helpful. He's one of the good guys that you can you know you can trust and rely on. Top notch service.

Zuverlässig, super Service, einfach Klasse !!! 1+

Auf Empfehlung haben wir unseren Umzug innerhalb Bulgariens mit Expat Couriers durchgeführt. Wir waren super zufrieden, die Jungs waren hilfsbereit, freundlich, und haben tatsächlich alles im LKW untergebracht. Das war echt ne Leistung, ich war beeindruckt :-). Alles war zuverlässig, und sehr preis-angemessen.

A service you can truly trust!

I contacted expat couriers a month before leaving the UK to move to Bulgaria. I searched through some listings for couriers and contacted a few, Expat Couriers being one of them. Mike explained he was very busy (a good sign of course) but he would be able to do the job for me. I had received no outside recommendation for this company, so I really felt like I was taking a risk to put my worldly possessions in this company’s hands. Thank GOD I did! Mike and his team were absolutely professional and caring throughout the entire procedure. They stayed in contact with me throughout the whole process, including doing the inventory for my belongings. When my things arrived, everything was as it was packed. No breakages. No missing items. Mike ended up driving over my sports car just a month later thanks to my mum for arranging it. Do not hesitate to use expat couriers for your move. The price was fair, the service was incredible and meeting Mike in person made me realise what a lovely, genuine man he is. Top Marks.

Nie wieder! Noch schlechter geht es nicht!

Zusammengefasst in Kürze:
- Es wurden Sachen verschlampt und beschädigt. Adäquater Ersatz nicht erbracht.
- Es werden Sachen zurückbehalten, um den Kunden zur Zahlung zu zwingen.
- Auf die Kundenbeschwerde wird mit Erpressung, Drohungen und Beleidigungen reagiert.

Hier im Detail:
Ich würde am liebsten Minuspunkte vergeben. Wie alle diese tollen Bewertungen hier entstanden, ist mir ein Rätsel. Für eine 80jährige englische Dame habe ich, aufgrund dieser Bewertungen, diese Firma angeheuert. Ich kann nur sagen: der größte Reinfall überhaupt. Es wurde viel versprochen (wir kümmern uns um alle Dokumente, wir packen alles sicher, wir haben Erfahrung) und nichts gehalten. Schon einen Tag nach Abholung (3.10.) kam eine Geldnachforderung wegen höheren Gewichts. Fast nochmals das Doppelte des bereits bezahlten Betrags. Dann wurde nochmal gewogen und zig Begründungen getextet. Komischerweise wurde die Nachforderung um 100 GBP weniger.

Lieferung: Sollte schnell am 7. Oktober nach Kontaktaufnahme beim Empfänger erfolgen. Nichts erfolgte! Der Herr war an diesem Termin zu müde, es war ihm zu spät. Danach: nichts mehr!

Am Freitag, 15.10., Nachfrage durch Empfänger: keine Antwort! Am 17.10. Nachfrage durch mich, Antwort: Ja, er habe Kontakt mit Empfänger aufgenommen wie vereinbart. Auf meine Vorhaltung, dass dies ja wohl nicht richtig sei und es genug sei mit Versprechen und Ausreden, wurde ich aus seiner Tracking-Gruppe geschmissen und es folgte eine lange Liste an Klagen, was er doch alles an Dokumenten hat ausfüllen müssen, weil wir doch so inkompetente Kunden sind. Einen Liefertermin nannte er immer noch nicht.

Doch, oh Wunder, am 18.10. stand er plötzlich und unangemeldet vor der Tür der abwesenden Empfänger.
Von der Lieferung fehlt ein Karton, ein Gemälde, ein Gartentisch ist kaputt, zwei Gartenstühle sind defekt. Die hatte er einfach gegen andere ausgetauscht. Inakzeptabel natürlich.

Dies alles ist nicht nur schlechtester Service. Eine weitere Benennung des Ganzen überlasse ich dem Leser und möchte ich hier nicht äußern. Es ist auch traurig. Mit dem Karton gingen unersetzbare Erinnerungen eines langen Lebens verloren.

Nachtrag:
Die untenstehende Antwort des Kuriers war erwartbar. Viele Worte, 90% stellen sich mir völlig anders dar. Der sog. Ersatz war minderwertig und eindeutig gebraucht. Das Gemälde ist noch immer verschwunden.

Und es geht noch weiter: Die Nachzahlung, die erst 388 GBP betragen sollte, dann 241, ist jetzt bei 263 GBP angelangt.
Und die verschwundene Box ist wunderbarerweise wieder aufgetaucht. Jetzt versucht man es jedoch mit Erpressung: Die Firma droht Rückhalt an, sollte die Zahlung der strittigen Summe nicht erfolgen.
Ich habe dem Herrn mitgeteilt, dass Strafanzeige gestellt werden wird. Er weiß genau, dass ein Kunde seine Rechnung (die entgegen seiner Behauptung nicht vorliegt.... Nachtrag: nach dem Beitrag hier jetzt doch) anfechten kann, aber er darf auf keinen Fall persönliche Gegenstände zurückbehalten. Wie gesagt, das ist Erpressung und zeigt den Umgang dieser Firma mit ihren Kunden mehr als deutlich.
Und ebenso zeigt sich deutlich, wie man mit Kundenbeschwerden umgeht: Jeglicher Kontakt dahingehend wird gelöscht.

Dass er mich, weil ich Deutsche bin, nunmehr auch noch als N a z i bezeichnet, spricht ebenfalls für sich. Eine seriöse Firma würde sich niemals auf ein solches Niveau begeben.

Ich kann nur nochmals eindringlich vor dieser Firma warnen!

Noch ein Nachtrag:
Trotz intensiver Recherchen ist es nicht gelungen, auch nur eine Person aufzufinden, die hier Ersteklasse-Bewertungen abgegeben hat. Weder in GB, noch in D, noch in BG, in keinem Forum, keinem Chat. Und es waren wirklich Fachleute am Werk.

Wigald has not booked our UK removal service and wasn’t the contractual party of the deal which was placed between us and Heather Burton.All customers are informed about customs, payment, packaging requirements in advance and are required to download the INVENTORY LIST and CUSTOMS DECLARATION from our website PRINT BOX section where all necessary forms are available.
When my crew arrived to collect the inventory there was NO INVENTORY LIST, NO CUSTOMS DECLARATION, NO EVIDENCE OF RESIDENTIAL RIGHTS required be export customs to prepare the EX declaration. Inventory supposed to meet our volumetric requirements (m3/kg). Per default all loads are weighed and measured to make sure the declared volumetrics are reflected in customs declarations.
After collecting Lee’s belongings (Heather’s mother) the weighbridge showed weight discrepancy exceeding the agreed volumetrics.
We have informed customer immediately and provided the weighbridge result but also informed her that just to double check the load will be weighed piece by piece to calculate the EXACT weight. The exact weight was lower than the one showed by the weighbridge so we have informed customer immediately that the final additional payment will be actually less than and balance was reduced accordingly.
Our international TERMS of service reflected on CMR contract saying clearly 24/7 recipient flexibility - that’s our reply to why we haven’t decided to deliver the load on route at 2:30AM after 4 days of driving from Bulgaria and informed customer that the team is driving home for much needed rest and the delivery date will be announced within few days. Our live tracking is ALWAYS on and there is no such thing as UNEXPECTED ARRIVAL.
Our live tracking group isn’t a chat platform and serves customers as an ETA updates and live tracking source.
COMPLAIN chat is an open access WhatsApp group and we cherish our absolute transparency so allegations of hiding anything is just an absurdity.
Regarding damaged goods: 2 out of 4 old plastic garden chairs had rear legs snapped (were stacked in pile of four).
As we haven’t payed attention if legs were snapped when collected we have immediately arranged a very generous replacement and purchased full garden set with table and 4 chairs plus another set of 5 garden chairs to compensate 2 broken chairs. Replacement full garden set was accepted on delivery yesterday.
We do admit misplacing one of Lee’s boxes (number 11) with the box addresses to another customer. That issue was rectified immediately.
Wigald’s (3rd party - not a customer) statement regarding 2 missing boxes and painting are false as we have the photographic and video evidence made on delivery. All items delivered matching the inventory list issued on collection, matching customs declaration and Uk customs clearance evidence.
Remaining balance of £263 for weight excess remains unpaid and I strongly believe false allegations were posted with intention to avoid paying these.
Just to conclude : we have covered the part of the customs clearance charges and paid customers import VAT charge which we are not looking for to be reimbursed.
Please remember - we are ALWAYS holding full documentation, invoices, contracts, inventory lists, customs invoices, photographic and video evidence for records so anyone wishing to judge weather my statement above is factual or false is more than welcome to contact us.
We are 100% transparent.
One final thing is reviewers allegation accusing all other reviewers of lying or misleading and potentially fraudulent.
I believe every single positive feedback was WELL EARNED by my team and accusing our customers of lying is totally unfair. My kindest Regards. Mike with Expat Couriers UK

J’ai utilisé les services pour ramener mes affaires de mon université en Bulgarie jusqu’à Munich. Tout a été très rapidement et dans de très brefs délais. AUCUN objet n’a été endommagé, le prix était correct et les professionnels courtois! Je recommande mille fois!!!!

I used Mike (Expat Couriers) in a rather unorthodox manner, in that, I used not his main stream business but rather his personal and Management skills. I found Mike to be a very genuine and open friendly person, his service for me was invaluable. Mike and his team made the difficult…

Mike and his team made the difficult transition from Scotland to Bulgaria very smooth and stress free. He went out of his way to solve problems and obstacles for me. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Excellent Service

Used Mike's service recently to move some furniture etc back to UK from Bulgaria.

He made it very easy by helping us to ensure we had all the right documentation for this - something we hadn't needed to do previously so it was all new to us.

Arrived as arranged to load and on schedule to deliver in the UK. All in all a very professional, punctual and polite team.

We have no hesitation in recommending his service to others

Great service and communication

Great service and communication! Tracking information was very reliable at all times and helped me to coordinate. Besides the great service I was also very happy to meet someone who not only “does his job” but takes the time to answer all questions I had. Great courier/ transport service

Needed belongings brought back to UK from Bulgaria but was let down by several van with van outfits.
Heard about Mike on the grapevine so got in touch. Found Mike to be a really nice bloke who gave me a good price and explained everything that needed to be done and what I needed to do now that customs process has complicated.
Mike kept in touch from start to finish and I was able to track his journey process from beginning to end.
Would recommend highly to anyone looking for transport services.
Overall, a great experience.
