Poor customer service at Porchester Centre
As a new joiner at everyone active Porchester Centre, I do not recommend others to sign up here.
Very poor customer service… there was a sign saying ‘please park your strollers, buggies and bikes here’ which I did with my bike. Subsequently a junior employee asked me to move my bike to the area with a bike parking cable - which I complied and followed her instructions.
Midway through my swim workout, the general manager disturbs me and demands that I move my bike now. I am confused because I already did what your employee told me earlier.. she approved and allowed me to head into the changing room. If there were a problem then she should have informed me then and there to park my bike outside because parking in the building is not allowed.
The general manager was disrespectful, had poor management and leadership skills. It was obvious that the staff also didn’t know whether bike parking inside the building was allowed. All in all, he threatened me with cutting my membership and forced me to step outside the building in swimwear and all wet to park my bike outside. It felt confusing and shameful and humiliating.
If your staff is untrained and incompetent, dont make this the member’s burden the fault. I understand the ‘health and safety’ reasons and I don’t agree with the communication style that he took to get the action that he wanted. Shameful and dissapointing.

The app is the most frustrating app I have ever used! I have three children linked to my account, each have weekly swimming lessons, and to change or do anything on the app is one of the most painful experiences of my life. And with three kids I’m having to do this regularly. I absolutely hate it and would love to leave everyone active, however they ‘run’ my local lesuire center. So what choice do I have?
I can see I’m not the only one as they have 27% one star reviews. That’s horrible statistics. Very reflective of the uk.
Like a holiday!
It was our first time visiting Northcroft Lido and we all had an absolutely fantastic time. The pool is lovely, its clean and well maintained. The slides were so much fun! And even though it was fully booked it somehow didn't feel as crowded as I expected. We will most certainly be back, such a lovely place to spend a few hours on a sunny day.

Decades of Loyalty, but Declining Standards !
I’ve used Everyone Active facilities for over three decades (and whatever they were called before). Unfortunately, standards have declined.
Across Everyone Active—especially the two local facilities I use—phone calls often go unanswered, making booking difficult. Once booked, you can only amend or cancel via phone, so if calls aren’t answered, it’s nearly impossible.
While there are some genuinely helpful staff who go out of their way, others have been dismissive or unhelpful, which is disappointing after decades of loyalty.
Cleanliness is poor—unmaintained toilets, sauna, steam room, swimming pool, and courts. The courts are dusty, slippery, and clearly neglected, making it dangerous for users—even with recommended footwear.
Recently at Vale Farm, I tried to shower—one shower didn’t work, another dripped, and one turned cold. I had to move to an uncomfortable open shower that barely worked.
Booking issues persist: double bookings, last-minute cancellations, and when we cancel, only credits are given—no refunds.
In 2026, this must change. Customers must be offered refunds or credits on the spot. I expect these issues to be fixed, as this is a serious concern for me and others.
These are my local facilities, and I’ve grown older with them. I genuinely have love for these places. I want to recommend them, but these issues put me off. It’s not easy leaving this negative review—I care about these facilities.
I sincerely request that these issues be addressed so that our community continues to enjoy outstanding facilities. Let’s bring these venues up to 21st-century standards, offering a place we can all be proud of.

I really enjoy attending the Zumba…
I really enjoy attending the Zumba classes and the tutor [Vera] is so personable and exceptional in her delivery of the sessions.
She is able to communicate well and is very friendly and professional in her approach. Not to mention that she has a great sense of humour.
She deserves to be commended for her hard work.
Inflatazone..
We booked the earliest slot at Inflatazone, so I expected the venue to be clean and ready for the day. Unfortunately, it was the dirtiest I have ever seen it. There was dust everywhere, along with sand, hairbands, wristbands, and even used plasters scattered around.
The amount of dust was shocking — not just a small amount, but large clumps floating around the air and sticking to our faces and clothes. My partner has asthma, and the dust affected their breathing so badly that we had to leave early.
I was also disappointed with the staff. When we arrived, some were sitting on the floor, and during our visit several staff members were on their phones. Two employees seemed more interested in chatting and flirting than supervising the play area properly.
Sadly, this will be our last visit. Experiences like this are exactly why we stopped going to soft play centres in the first place.

My local centre Cockermouth was taken over from Better to Everyone Active.
We received an email confirming our members fee but on checking the DD over double the amount has been taken from our bank. Many 'enquiries' sent via the app which not one has been answered. A standard generic reply received. Also many personal visits to the site and they still cannot confirm our monthly fee. There is one member of staff who has tried unsuccessfully to help.
The worst customer service I have ever come across.

The equipment is fine. I guess. The administration is dumb.
First, I when I sign up, I have to pay for my last month in advance. Which is clearly just a price gouging sign-up fee by another name. What possible good could it do ME to have my last month already paid for up front? When I cancel, I get another month before my membership ends? But when I cancel, it's because I don't want to use it anymore!
Then I walked into the centre and told the staff I want to upgrade my membership to use more facilities. I am told that I cannot do this!? The only way to do it is to submit an online enquiry and wait for someone to contact me to discuss my membership. So now I'm just sitting on a wall outside a gym building, waiting for someone to contact me.
And they have the gaul to send me an automated email response telling me that I can use the app to upgrade my membership! Which is just a lie!
Oh boy am I glad I got up early on Saturday to come to the gym!

Fantastic Zumba class
I attended Vera's Zumba class today, this was my 2nd time. Vera brings so much to her class with her energy and enthusiasm. It was a very hot day today and I felt quite sluggish to begin with but Vera's energetic personality shines through and gives you the oomph you need to get going. What i love about Vera's class is its not over complicated, making it easier to follow than other zumba classes I have been to but it is also very effective. You don't feel left behind thus making this class very productive. I shall be making this class a staple of mine. I love it and anyone that meets Vera will love her too.
The WORST customer experience I have EVER had
Referred 3 people, was told I would receive 3 months of free membership as a result. As I was going on holiday, I asked if my membership could be frozen for August and September 2025 and the free months kick in after. August was frozen, but September I had money taken out of my account. I was then charged for the 3 months after this that I was told would be FREE.
They also make freezing your membership extremely complicated. I was out the country April 2025 and January 2026, asked for my membership to be frozen, then charged. That makes it 6 MONTHS that I was wrongly charged for in total.
I have tried to reach out 6 TIMES!!!!! 3 times in person, every time has been useless and they told me to send an email/sort it out on the website. 3 times I tried to sort it out online: first time I was ignored completely, 2nd time they closed my case without even responding to me, they sent me a generic automated response on how I can freeze my account without acknowledging what has gone on!!! and the 3rd time I was completely ignored AGAIN!!!
An absolute disgrace that I have been wrongly charged and dismissed in the way. Needless to say, I cancelled my membership a couple months ago, and I am currently pursuing ways on how to challenge them, seeing as their own team constantly ignores you. They do not even have a contact number. It is clear they will do everything they can to dismiss you again and again

Excellent centre, friendly staff at reception and in the cafe , so helpful. We went to the under 5’s fun session in the pool which was brilliant!

It takes forever to pay for an activity and they need your full name which is wierd.
The changing rooms are quite dirty with green slime, hair and rubbish. (This was a definite change from when the centre was under Everyone Active)

We have been bringing our children to…
We have been bringing our children to Northolt Leisure Centre swimming lessons for the past 6 years. Two of my children are in Stage 6 and one is in Stage 5, but unfortunately over the past few months the whole experience has become very disappointing.
The swimming teachers keep changing continuously, there is no consistency, and my children seem to be stuck on the same level for far too long without any proper progress or feedback.
Recently, one of the teachers, Jake, refused to allow my daughter to swim because she was not wearing a swimming hat. What made this even more frustrating was that this rule clearly does not apply to everyone, as other children were allowed in without hats. It feels unfair and inconsistent.
I raised this issue with the manager, who promised that someone would call me back to discuss the matter. It has now been 4 weeks and nobody has contacted me at all. This shows a complete lack of care and professionalism towards customers who are paying both money and giving up their time.
Because of the poor communication, lack of consistency, and the way customers are treated, I have now decided to cancel my membership. Even my children no longer enjoy going swimming because of the staff and overall experience.

I wanted to take a moment to share my experience with Josh at Everyone Active Whitehill & Bordon. From the very first time I visited, Josh has consistently gone above and beyond to ensure I have the best possible experience at the facility.
Josh is always incredibly helpful, approachable, and genuinely invested in making sure members feel welcome and supported. Whether it's answering questions, offering guidance, or simply greeting everyone with a friendly smile, his positive attitude and dedication truly stand out.
It's clear that Josh takes real pride in his work and cares about the members at the centre. His professionalism and willingness to help have made such a difference to my visits, and I always feel confident knowing he's there if I need assistance.
Everyone Active is fortunate to have someone like Josh on their team. He's a credit to the organisation and exemplifies the kind of excellent customer service that keeps members coming back.

Worst experience where they don’t…
Worst experience where they don’t refund or transfer the annual membership. It’s the hard earned money people pay for membership which they easily say we don’t refund for not even using and refunding the remaining months pay.
Worst of all is the gym is either always full or under repair and not injury friendly at all.

I used to be a member of a gym before so I know what I like in a gym. I am really impressed with my gym/swim membership. The amount of equipment available, quality of the overall facilities, friendly staff there to support and the large gym area that accommodates the busy periods has really allowed me to enjoy getting back into fitness.
