I enquired on line and I received a fast reply. I didn’t make an appointment but was welcomed to have a look around the gym and studios with Hannah.
Hannah was very professional and friendly. Made me feel very welcome.

Awful customer service, been waiting over 2 weeks from a call back. Sent endless amount of enquiry forms, and no one has any authority to do anything - every time I called, I am just being told its been escalated and 2 weeks later, I have to call AGAIN to be told nothing can be done.

Everyone active Hertford have taken £150 from my account without confirmation after freezing my membership due to being on maternity leave due to THEIR systems changing processes and no compassion at all, just a computer says no situation and it's "how our system works". There are a lot better gyms in the area with people who no how to deal with LOYAL customers.

The gym has now lost myself, my partner and I will now take my son elsewhere for his swimming lessons. It does not care about a community at all, just money money money! Doesn't care about keeping loyal customers.

I don’t know what it is about reception staff at these kind of places but they are beyond rude. one particular woman in there goes out of her way to be anything but helpful and seems very angry that you are breathing the same air as her. If you want to take your child swimming expect to be asked 40 million questions to be entered into a system that none of the staff seem to be able to use.

Facilities are ok wouldn’t have a clue they just spent 8 million on a revamp but does the job on a raining Sunday when you have children.

I started going to Everyone Active after a referral from my doctor. To say I was nervous was an understatement! However, I had no reason to be anxious; the trainers are all so helpful, and Gil, who works with me, is amazing. She is a 'real person' and understands what challenges I'm facing with health issues and works the programme to my abilities. The facilities are great; I use the gym and the pool, but there is so much more, including all sorts of fitness classes such as yoga, Pilates, and stretching, among others. I go 3 times a week and even just go on my own and work out, and only ever receive support from the trainers, staff, and the other gym goers.
If you've ever thought of going, don't worry, don't be nervous - just go, you won't regret it. It's one of the best things and the best places I've found in recent years.

Positives:
- Staff are welcoming.
- Now plenty of disabled parking.

Negatives:
- Main pool is divided into two (= a shorter length).
- Unclean changing rooms. i.e., brown streaks on cubicle wall. Dirty toilet doors. On two separate occasions the same marks remain.
- Some showers are warm, some are cold.
- Café is reasonably expensive.

Will continue to attend due to affordability

Mentioned a couple of hand held hair driers were not working out of several provided. The evening staff thanked me for info and they'd pass it on. They were repaired by my next visit!!!

Fantastic choice of classes for all abilities and ages.

Got 5 parking tickets from their parking vendor as I was not aware of new rules. I supplied log of my gym entrance to parking company after gym referred me there. Ended up with £500 worth of parking fines. Not sure why everyone active is using a vendor like this.

I really enjoy the variety of fitness classes, and the instructors are very good. The people are friendly and I feel safe attending. They give me motivation to build up my fitness level and time flies.

I only do one class which is excellent, so can't comment on the others.
Reception staff are always friendly and helpful, but I would appreciate a consistent standard of cleanliness in the changing rooms.

Great gym, worthy of 5 stars if it was managed better?
Often can't get on equipment due to members occupying it while on phones for anything up to 20 mins and not actually using it. Would be good if staff were aware and politely asked them to use and vacate, just a thought? Wash rooms often out of soap which is pretty unhygienic! Some reception staff a little unfriendly, but the actual facility is excellent!

I cannot believe how not clean this place is. The most nastiest changing rooms. I have ever been to, I do not know if they have people to clean. The changing area floor was not clean and toilet/ showering areas smelt really bad of odour,urine. The pools were not bad, the family changeing room was not bad - but could still do with a clean. The temperature in the pool was a nice temperature. I could not stomach using the shower or toilet facilities due to how unhygienic it felt. Had to wait until arriving home. Took our little one to swim which he enjoyed. The changing area really let this place down. It's a miracle, thank Heavens I did not catch anyverrucas or athlete foot, walking on the heels of my feet. Please do not forget or flip flops, or go somewhere else where the changing facilities are clean.we will not be coming here again. We went on a afternoon in a Friday.
Changing rooms toilets and showers should be checked,disinfected and cleaned, I did not sense that here one bit. Facilities should be cleaned/ checked at least every two hours couldn't believe it. Will try other pools in the area which hopefully should be better.

I got a trial day pass to attend Hartham Leisure centre today to bring my child swimming and to try it out since the refurbishment.

The swimming pool changing rooms are NOT CLEAN. The floor was dirty, there was dirt in the corners including dust, hair and old water and the grout in the tiling also dirty. You only had to look above you to find that the air conditioning vents were also covered in dust. I reported my issue to the manager on duty who thanked me for the feedback but explained that they do have cleaners on site and that the facilities are checked regularly. However, it’s not a matter of being ‘checked’ regularly. It’s a matter of being cleaned regularly. You cannot compromise on cleanliness in facilities such as a leisure centre. Someone needs to be hosing down the changing rooms every hour. It wouldn’t take much! I will not be returning. Having to clean the dirt of my feet before entering the pool was enough of a negative experience to ensure I don’t return.

huge range of equipment ,great location and fabulous facilities with helpful staff

1st day, 1st impression, not great
I went swimming this morning, swimming experience was lovely.
Then went to shower, no soap, no place to hang your towel, no HOT water, it was ice cold.
Then moved to cubicle, it was dirty and tiny.
I am not impressed. The guys that sold this to my husband and I did a fantastic job. However, the facilities let us down.
Receptionist was not interested when I asked about there being no hot water.
I was told there is a poster.
The poster is minute, and no one can see it.
Not good enough!
Gym membership is not free!
We actually are paying.
I hope there is hot water tomorrow.

Great Leisure centre with facilities to please all the family, three swimming pools for all ages and an air conditioned soft play for the kids not to mention the gym. There is ample free parking and a cafe, Hartham Leisure centre is nestled in a large park surrounded by rivers and two large playgrounds, just perfect.
