Love this gym. Have a lovely long sesh of stretches & using machines on a Sunday. Everyone's chill. Get a quick cool-down in the pool - lots of kids Sunday but still room for me to do lengths. Looking forward to my pre-work early morning work-outs this week. Special mention to the ever-diligent Shanita, getting the shower-grills up & giving them a proper scrub! She's a blooming hero for all the cleaning she does - I love this gym, it's MY gym, because the staff & facilities work well.

I have to express my disappointment with the gym, especially considering it's one of the more expensive options in the area. Since January, the sauna has not been functioning at the right temperature. After sitting in there for an hour, I often feel I could stay for another two, yet the conditions don't improve. It’s frustrating to see people unaware that it's not working properly, and I find myself having to inform them.

The showers are frequently unclean, and they never restock the soap. It’s disappointing because this gym claims to be a premium facility. Unfortunately, the staff seems quite lazy—they rarely clean the equipment, and I've seen women having to remove weights over 200 kg from machines when it should be the staff's responsibility.

Additionally, the rented workout rooms seem to be a private arrangement not mentioned in the contract, suggesting some employees are making extra money on the side. Equipment like the leg press and other machines are often broken and go unrepaired for months. For instance, at a nearby gym that's open 24 hours, they repair broken cables within 24 hours. Here, it takes them that long just to put up a notice that equipment is not in use.

The staff spends more time on their phones than walking around the gym to ensure that people are following the rules. If someone is disregarding the rules, the staff should step in rather than leaving it to other gym-goers, especially women. It’s the first time I’ve encountered such a lack of professionalism at what should be a leading gym.

While amenities like the pool and sauna have their appeal, it's disheartening when the sauna is often out of order. It seems likely that these facilities will be closed if the staff cannot maintain them. The core issue appears to be a lack of responsibility from the personnel, which could ultimately lead to the gym's downfall. Everlast Carlisle should take a hard look at these problems; it's truly embarrassing for a brand of this caliber.

Everlast duplicated your account, take two payments twice and still fighting to get money back.

App to allow me access does not work, can not book classes. Never been inside the gym since rejoining.

I have got a subscription for 12 months more than 1 year ago. I had to move to another city and asked to cancel, they said there is a gym 9 miles away. I can’t walk 9 miles to go to the gym, this is insane. Now my 12 months contract is over, and they continue refusing to cancel it, saying it is an early termination when it is not. The worst gym ever. It is like making a deal with the devil. No ways to leave it. They just want your money, even when the contract is over. Never using Everlast against .
