I bought my car from Evans Halshaw, Wigan on the 18th of March, my sales executive was John. He was very polite and professional throughout the process which he made extremely straight forward. I was able to complete virtually all the paperwork online prior to the purchase. John sent me these in good time with clear details on how to complete. My new car has several features with which I was unfamiliar. John patiently demonstrated everything that I was unsure about.
He ensured the process was efficient, stress free and enjoyable. I thoroughly recommend this car dealership and John in particular.

Great experience
Ive just bought a 2nd hand nissan juke from Evans Halshaw Wigan. From the beginning John was pleasant and helpful. Even offered to pick me up at the train station when i came to pick the car up. The car was valeted to a high standard. I would definitely recommend.

Swapped my old Mokka for a newer electric model. The process was hassle free allowing me to drive away in my new car thanks to my salesperson, Edward. He demonstrated the features of the new car, set up my driver profile and arranged for a top-up charge while we dealt with the paperwork.

Car was collected from my home and delivered back to me later that day. Megan asked if I would like an engine flush which I agreed to and this was also carried out. The collection and delivery service is very helpfull for me as a 77 year old and everything was very efficient and friendly

Had a service & mot plan.
Had a service & mot plan.
Mentioned there was a problem with the washer and window button and was asked would you like us to look into this before we do the mot. Replied yes and was then told it will be £150 to do this.
Car failed its mot due to headlamp and washer. Phone call from the desk lady to say it would be £650 for the headlamp. This would not include fitting the headlamp.
As for the washer and window button funnily enough they couldn’t find the problem so need to look into it further. Desk lady very kindly told me it would only cost another £60 to do this.
Took the car from them, brought a headlamp from eBay, took it to the local garage who fitted headlamp, replaced washer for £12 fixed window button and put in a new battery costing altogether including new mot £489.
I certainly wouldn’t recommend using this garage for any service or mot and especially if you have an issue as it will cost you £150 before they even look at it.

Impressive service, professional but very friendly.
I was impressed with the service I got at Evans Halshaw Vauxhall Wigan branch, and Peter Mills in particular, when I went to view a well priced used Skoda. I had put a holding deposit down 3 days before and Peter had sent me a good video. The car was ready for viewing and test drive on arrival and Peter answered all of my many questions thoroughly and didn’t pressurise me at any point. Whilst I eventually didn’t buy the car, and had my deposit returned, I was left thinking that I would go back when I’m next looking. It seemed that the team are interested in both parties being satisfied and not just focussing on their side of a sale. That’s unusual, in my experience, and refreshing.
