After I bought my car from EH Horsforth, which was a good experience , I went for their service plan. Booking a service or MOT has been easy, I’ve always gone for I’ll wait while the work is done, the show room is comfortable and the work was always done with in the time they said. So another great experience. Overall great job, thank you.

Vehicle only went in for an MOT but the team on site were efficient, got me a coffee and I was on my way again not long after I had drunk it.

Like every other car dealership I’ve experienced, the staff lie like they breathe.
Bought an Audi A3 only 6 months ago, and the clutch went a couple of days ago.
Do not trust this company, they will tell you anything they think you want to hear to procure a sale.
The garage I took it to be fixed assured me that they will have known about the problem before they sold it to me.
Untrustworthy. dishonest.
If I could give them zero stars I would have done.

Nice welcome by Debbie, car handed over for servce/MOT. Asked what time I needed it back. Received video explaining problem.amd costs, authorized work to go ahead and receiving confirmation phone call. Arrived to collect car at allocated time. Car not ready but offered coffee whilst waiting. My only slight complaints are car not valeted well and I know that's not the end of the world - secondly pay a lot for a service to start with so would have expected to receive a sparkly car both in and out on collection. Paying monthly towards MOT and service help with costs but not a cheap garage.

As usual a courteous welcome on arrival. Everything explained very quickly and efficiently and shown to the waiting area. Had regular updates whilst the car was serviced and kept informed of the matters I had asked them to look at over and above the service. Altogether there was nothing I could criticise in the way my visit was conducted. Another really good experience.

Now, on 21st November, I bought a car from these guys and was 'encouraged' to leave a review. The sales process was OK so I left a review to reflect that.
However, the car broke down after 2 weeks with a serious fault causing it to shut down all systems.
When the warranty was sold to me, I was told that the local EH would collect and repair the car in the event of any issues and supply an equivalent courtesy car. Untrue. In fact as they subsequently advised, their Premium Guarantee (for which I had paid £895) is not appropriate for hybrids. They then offered me a different warranty and sent through the schedule for electric only vehicles.
They advised that the car should go to my local Land Rover dealer for diagnostics and then they would consider if they would pay for the repair. As my local Land Rover dealer could not look at the car for weeks, I rejected the car and was refunded the purchase price.
They also sold a Service Plan saying that the car would be serviced and MOT'd for the next 2 years at a cost of £570 odd (two services). However, as subsequently transpired, the service intervals are 2 years anyway so no servicing was necessary in 2026!

10/10 service. Easily able to arrange a service date and time that suits me. Greeted by such friendly staff, no issues at all

Booking MOT & service was a breeze everything on time all paperwork done showing everything that was carried out service book stamped car clean, service staff great and very polite and helpful, this is my eighth year taking my car to Evans Halshaw never had a problem.

Rude staff. Don't think about buying a used car from them,especially if you are female. Car not serviced when told it was,tyre pressure light on 15 minutes after collection. Front tyres were 51 should have been 33! Mats left in boot..don't fit. Don't return messages until dealer principle emailed with issues. Waited over a week for service dept to contact me about about doing the promised service. Did collect the car,but strange voicemail left on my phone the morning of arranged collection. Person said just checking still to be collected as no one communicates here! Yes that is the problem! Very poor all round. Would not budge on price for mine at part exchange then seen for sale later at twice the price! Too many people in suits sitting around doing nothing. Have used other Evans Halshaw garages in the past,but this one is very dissappointing.

Evans Halshaw Leeds sold me a crash repaired car

Evans Halshaw Leeds sold me a VW T-ROC and described it as an immaculate, single owner car. They took my immaculate FIAT 500 with just 19k miles and recent full service with cam belts and 4 new tyres.
When we received the VW it immediately became obvious to my dad and brother who work with cars, that the car had been in a major collision at the front and down the entire near side. It had been very poorly repaired and was entirely over sprayed with fine white paint over its dark grey exterior. There was overspray on the windows and trims were broken and badly fitted. Interior seats were white with dried cleaning products and presentation was absolutely digusting. The car also tended to steer to the centre of the road when being driven, a very dangerous fault for a young driver. We insisted the car be collected and my Fiat returned. When we received the Fiat back the front had quite serious impact damage and there was further paint damage and dents which happened while car was in their care. This has resulted in repairs costing £1,850 which are still waiting to be paid. Evans Halshaw completely refused to admit liability but offered to pay £50 in damages!
With large car dealerships like Evans Halshaw you would hope that they act with honesty and integrity, but this particular dealership cannot be trusted and should be avoided at all costs.

My son’s 10 year old Astra was needing a new gearbox !! After dropping the car off, I was updated regularly as to how the extended warranty claim was going, and thankfully it was accepted. All the work was then carried out straight away and I was able to collect it in a matter of days. Debbie the service advisor was a pleasure to deal with, and is a real asset to the service team. Utter cowboys. Sold me a car not even a year ago. Had to take it back to them for repair and now it needs more repairs to it. Looks like it’s been in an accident on the rear and it’s been repainted. 100% shouldn’t be faults with a car that I’ve not even had a year yet. Either they didn’t know or did or the previous owners didn’t tell them about the damage. Evans Halshaw Horsforth - don’t bother. Soon as your out the door that’s it. Would avoid at all cost!

Friendly and helpful service reception team. They keep you informed of work progress on your vehicle and seek approval before carrying out additional repairs. Work completed on time subject to availability of parts.

Explained everything to me perfectly kept us updated excellent staff as much tea/coffee chocolate as you required can't fault them
