Service team are outstanding on service provision with the customers and on their service delivery on the workshop. A special mention to Emma Collins on reception and to Martin Rankine the service manager for their excellent customer relationships

Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Full health check carried out which I wasn’t expecting as van was recalled for a timing belt/chain issue. Very impressed with level of service.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life at Falkirk Evans Halshaw since I ordered the car. Thinking back on this, that should have been the sign to not continue with my order. Brand new Vauxhall Frontera, in for the third time all and all for been in for roughly 6 weeks since I got it in March. I have to phone in to chase them, the telephone line for the service department is so bad you can hardly hear them. Got told on Friday that they had to order a part to fix my problem. I phoned up yesterday and was told that they are still waiting to hear from Vauxhall technical. I don’t have a car to do the school run now never mind being able to get to work.
I was told that my name is at the top of the list to get a car to drive, yesterday I was told that it wont happen anytime soon by a snippy service employee (name available upon request)
I also want to add that I phoned up on a Saturday two weekends ago requesting to speak to a manager. The only manager that was apparently in was the used car sales manager but he “wasn't at his desk” so the employee advised that he would get the manager to phone me back. I am still waiting. Do I need to follow this up too? I have no car to get my sick dog to the vet, no car to get my child to school and no car to vet to work and nobody is helping me and I am having sleepless night.

Poor communication and let down at collection when car was not ready had nothing done not even washed total waste of time

Having already written a review - I feel I need to add to this I feel I have to come back to you. When I purchased my car I was advised it would come with 1 year MOT - it didn’t! I got my car September 2025 - MOT was due 11 July 2026 - by my calculation that’s 10 months not 12! I have only driven approximately 6k miles and required to renew my tyres in order for the car to pass MOT. This would suggest there was probably an advisory on the previous MOT. I would not expect to renew tyres after 10 months and only 6000 miles. Yet another example of the underhandedness of Evan’s Halshaw sales Team

My partner and I purchased a used EV from Evans Halshaw Falkirk on April 15th…

After a horrendous experience buying a used EV from a different dealership in February, we had to reject that car and get our money back. Therefore, when looking to purchase an EV from EH Falkirk weeks later, we requested a battery health check prior to purchasing, so that we knew that the car was in good condition for being 5 years old and would last us the whole period we’d be paying it off.

After being told the check would be done for us on our first visit, it was only when we were 3/4 of our 70+ mile journey to the dealership on collection day that we received a phone call saying that the check was being done there and then.

Disappointed and annoyed by this, when we arrived at the dealership, we were told that the results could only take up to 7 days. Desperate for a car after not having one for weeks and knowing it would only be a week until we got the results, we agreed to purchase the car.

Since the purchase, I have had to email about faults that existed prior to owning the car. Despite them claiming that they carry out a 100+ point check? In my emails, I also enquired about the battery health check results as it had been over a week and still had no update. I would receive a response but no mention of the health check result at all. Frustrated by this, I then emailed on May 8th specifically asking about the health check results as it had nearly been a month and to this day, I still haven’t received a response… blatantly ignored.

When I had to take the car to the dealership on two occasions because of the faults, I asked both times in-person about the results and got what I could only call excuses… Even after the recent repairs being completed, issues still exist, like the steering / wheel alignment being off. This is really annoying as it was an issue I had brought up before purchasing the car but was told had been “sorted” on collection day. As frustrating as this is, I sadly can’t afford to keep forking out money to charge the car going to Falkirk and back or take any more time away from university.

At this point, I’m not convinced that they have even carried out a battery health check for us and I seriously question the honesty of the people who work there.

After now seeing a number of negative reviews from months ago, I wish that I had done my homework before purchasing. I would encourage anyone to avoid buying from this dealership. They don’t seem to care and are happy to outright ignore your emails, sell you cars with issues and flog you off when you try to ask for updates on something they said they would provide.

Always happy with this company

I have used this dealership for 3 years now for my car and my family members vehicles and always found them professional, courteous and efficient

Tried to contact them in regards to the sale of my vehicle, they have not provided any information it’s been 5 days of no contact. They are holding my car and documents I have absolutely nothing extremely worrying.

Communication was great and they were very thorough

Staff explain things well and provide a quick efficient service.

Buying the car was fine but as picking the car up was told they could not find the spare key and would phone me the following day 2 weeks passed and nothing so after 9 phone calls to the garage they finally phoned me to say they were now looking for it and nothing since , been in touch with complaints department 3 times and nothing from them either, getting the sale then ignoring the customer seems normal for this garage.

Felt it was rushed job , not up to the standards I thought .

Total frustration with this dealership. Multiple faults resulting in Multiple returns to dealership. Serious faults diagnosed by local technicians resulting in car being told to drive but only under caution as likely could cause serious issues including leading to possible engine replacement. Total disregard shown yet admitting to faults. Constantly told parts required but dealership trying to source cheapest price for parts. Six months later still no fix and frustratingly despite requests for updates no returns of phone calls. On looking at reviews seems is and has been similar occurrence with other customers. Irony is after writing this I may eventually get a generic reply from customer services asking me to detail all again. Have informed dealership my next steps likely to be referring to legal intervention and get Ombudsman involved.

If i could give it no stars i would! ABSOLUTE JOKE! Had nothing but problems since i bought my car! Every time my car has been in to get something fixed(which is a lot) it comes out with a different problem it went in with! There are never the right 'technicians' in to actually fix any issues and customer service is ridiculous! Never get an update call your told you will get and when either phoning or speaking in person they never seem to know what is actually going on! Conveniently there is never a manager available when you ask to speak to them either! Was unable to drive my car for 6 MONTHS because i couldnt get booked in or was cancelled on and when i EVENTUALLY got my car in, i didnt get it back for 5 WEEKS despite being told every week i was getting it back! Because they either couldnt fix it or created a new problem! Have also put official complaints in which of course i have not had a reply to either! I will never return to this car dealership again thats for sure!

I had an amazing experience buying my Corsa and part-exchanging my Adam. I couldn’t recommend Robert enough! I was nervous about the process going in but felt completely at ease when dealing with him. There was no pressure and he genuinely cared about helping us get the best deal. He made everything about the process so easy! Won’t stop recommending him to anyone that will listen! 🙂 thank you so much, I am so happy with the service and will be back in a few years!

Poor service and selling practice. Used EV sale -> car was with sensors fault at hand over at the dealership and I notified them about it during hand over, their response "it will, resolve itself with driving and updates" -> 6 months + multiple complaints + failed attempt to fix it, after, the car presented more issues that a car that has been checked and maintained properly shouldn't present -> EH avoided liability, offered to try again to fix the sensors only, while I had to special tow my car to the official Tesla dealership where i paid for the repairs, had an amazing support and service and updates throughout the service/repairs process and even fixed the sensors as courtesy although they didnt had to as the extra faults were detected while the car was in their garage. Never again at EH for me.
