Extremely poor communication and unacceptable customer service
I contacted Evans Halshaw Hyundai Milton Keynes regarding an important service-related matter and needed clarification before attending my appointment. I submitted my enquiry and then followed up twice, but after 10 days I still received absolutely no reply.
This is not just a slow response but NO response! It feels like a complete dead end. Customers should not be ignored, especially when they are trying to confirm important service or recall-related work before visiting the dealership.
A main dealer should have a basic standard of communication. In this case, there was no acknowledgement, no update, and no attempt to help.
Very disappointing service quality. I would not feel confident relying on this dealership for customer support.

Hyundai MK best avoided.
Wanted to test drive a Genesis car at Hyundai MK. Spoke to assistant who said she would arrange this via Nathan, who would call me back to confirm the time. Nathan never called. They confirmed the correct telephone number, so that's not the issue. It's simple customer care to ensure that a customer is called back and isn't rocket science. Awaited all morning for the call to confirm, as we are 30 miles away and no point in setting out on spec. So came to the conclusion that this dealership just isn't up to the mark and my advice would be to avoid them unless you've got endless hours in the day to waste. Evans Halshaw need to get a grip on this dealership.

Frustrating Experience After Buying My Car
I bought my car on 14/06/2026 and made all the payments by bank transfer. However, my finance is still showing as “in stock,” and the issue has not been resolved.
My sales advisor, Andy Brice, has been very disappointing. I have sent him five emails and made numerous phone calls, but I have received no response.
Finally, someone answered my call yesterday and told me they hope the issue will be resolved this week, or if not, then next week. This level of customer service is unacceptable. After completing payment, I expected much better communication and a quicker resolution.
Overall, I am very disappointed with the after-sales service and would not recommend it based on my experience.

Didn't sort my issue
I took my Hyundai i40 into the service department for an issue with my boot lid as they are a main dealer. They couldn't find the issue which is still there. I tried calling and the phone rang solid for 3 minutes, no answer. Called back later after another 2.5 minutes of ringing I hang up. Terrible service

long lead times on bookings,
workmanship by my particular mechanic was absolutely shocking, couldn’t get a dust cap off the tyre valve wanted £189 to sort it (took me 20 seconds to remove it)
Over filled the car with oil
Engine management light was on when it went in was reset and came back on within 20 miles of getting the car back meaning I had to take the car back on further investigation it needed a new pressure switch and oil drained out.
I was going to be charged £25 to fill up an already full washer bottle.
The service reception staff are great but are being let down by the organisation.
