I have nothing but an awful experience at Evans Halshaw Old Trafford. I have recently taken my car in for a seasonal service everything came back green and no repairs needed, within 2 days of having a service my check engine light comes on. I took the car back to the garage for them to repair it and say it’s fine to drive. A further 2 weeks later the check engine light comes on again with the same issue as 2 weeks earlier. Now the garage are saying I need to pay £460 to have my car repaired when they didn’t fix it correctly 2 weeks ago. Service is not great I cannot even trust at this point if they are checking and fixing my car correctly. I have raised my concerns with the manager at the garage and he did not seem to care and tried saying they did not repair the car 2 weeks earlier when they did. I am not getting anywhere with the garage they just keep fobbing me off at this point. Really unhelpful.

If you make a booking via Ford website, call the garage before. They won't call you and are aware that the website sends cancellation emails, but don't check if customers are still coming.
Service when I did get seen was fantastic, however. Fast, keeping me in the loop and not as expensive as I thought it could be

Service reception staff were amazing last Saturday when I came to drop my car off. Very knowledgeable and I didn't feel silly asking questions, but I didn't feel rushed to make a decision as well.

Often the quality of a company is only on display when an issue arises, Salesmen very kind and polite when selling but uncaring and uncompromising if any issues arise.

We purchased a larger car after the birth of our first child. Informed that the turbo had been replaced after purchasing so was really disappointed when issues arose a few months after buying with engine management lights which were according to a Seat specialist, likely linked to the turbo. The car also failed the MOT emissions test also after the first year.l, an issue I've never experienced.

Contacted the branch we used and tried going through complaints as we were told initially there would be a warranty of 12 months for the replacement turbo. However, although the new turbo has collapsed after only 1 year and 9000 miles, no apology or offer of any kind to help rectify the issue. Told that someone would call back a few times and I naively waited and expected a call before having to call back to try and sort out.

The seat specialist we spoke to were very surprised to hear a warranty of only 12 months for a new turbo and it makes you question the quality of the work completed.

Both cars I've purchased in my life have been from Evans Halshaw but won't be using them in the future if this isn't rectified. I plan on going back through complaints to say that the issue hasn't been resolved through the local dealership we used to buy the car, but not holding my breath for any sort of support or apology but this is a lesson learned the hard way.

They need to give more information about their used cars history.

We randomly visited the showroom to have a look at the puma st as we have always liked the look of them.

We met with Charlie and explained we were just looking and wanted some information and figures on the ford puma st.

Even tho "we were just looking" Charlie was very helpful showed us a few different models explained the specs and also worked out some figures for us nothing seemed too much trouble.

They had a particular brand new model in stock which happend to be to the exact spec we was looking for, needless to say a week later we collected the car.

Charlie was great throughout the whole process and kept us upto date every step of the way we were also introduced to the new car sales manager who again was very helpful.

Worst company I ever deal with. Absolutely nightmare. Send me a personalised video given many wrong informations regarding the car.After I purchased the car I realised many things were not in the car as they mentioned in the video. Third day after purchase the car engine management light came on . Many days I had to leave the car in driveway and had to use taxi. After a long discussion they agreed to take the car back as they know it was a miss sold car. I had to wait weeks for the refund. I spend lots of money for the alternative transportation in this period and the insurance cancellation fee too. They never gave any of these money as a compensations because this is completely their fault . I could go with the solicitors. please stay away from this company please please
