Evans Halshaw - Ford Merthyr Tydfil Anmeldelser 

Bought a car here in April 2025 and after 8 or 9 attempts at resolving the same fault, with the drivers airbag deployment system, they have been unable to fix it and are refusing to offer a refund or suitable resolution. All emails are now being ignored from staff that have always responded and the 2 sales managers have refused to acknowledge any emails or offer a response. Currently speaking to citizens advice who have advised to action a section 75 claim through my credit card, as I always put part payment on credit card, to cover me in case of situations like this. I have raised a formal complaint through head office but despite an automated email saying I would get a response in 48 hours, after almost a week I have heard nothing. Absolutely shocking treatment after spending a large amount of money here, their aftersales leaves a lot to be desired, will never buy another car from the Merthyr Branch. Never had a minutes trouble with Treforest branch and absolutely gutted it was closed down.

Visited the Merthyr Tydfil branch in Febuary 2026 as I was interested in one of the used cars. Adam was amazing with the support he gave. He answered all queries about the car and ensured that I was happy with my purchase. After having the car for a month, I am extremely happy.

What a cracking team. This was my 3rd car from these guys and the best experience yet. All I asked was done. Very professional indeed. New sales manager lovely guy Spurs fan tho, I have loads of respect for him as he could have supported Man U or Liverpool. I think I’m one of the last people to have a new Ford Focus and I love mine. I was looked after by Arvind and this guy did everything for me. So kind,polite and a pleasure to be with. Poor customer service. Picked up car on Saturday and it was presented in a really nice condition with paintwork touched in as agreed. Satnav required card which was due in Wednesday. Unfortunately this didn't happen and it took several emails and calls to finally get one about 2 weeks later. The service history took about the same time. A door speaker failed and I'm still waiting for an update. Had a nice email asking how things were going the day a wheel sensor failed which was ironic.
No reply to either problem so I gave up and did the wheel sensor myself and I'll leave the speaker till the summer. Its not what you expect from a main dealer leaving me feeling like they had the money and walked away. Glad I didn't take the extended warranty as I saved money there.
