Evans Halshaw - Ford Ashton under Lyne Anmeldelser 

I recently bought a 19plate Renault Zoe from Chris Cain @ Evans Halshaw Ashton. Chris was great to deal with, friendly and professional throughout. I would not hesitate in returning for my next car purchase. Chris even lent me his Ford Puma Explorer when mine was slightly delayed having some final preparations done in the workshop. All the staff were friendly and helpful, not at all intimidating buying a car as a lone female. A very positive experience. I am over the moon with my new car, thanks guys

This is about Ashton Under Lyne branch.
Wanted to buy 2nd hand car from dealer. Arranged Independent check and unfortunately brought up, what could have been a major issue. When I started to negotiate resolution the dealership dug its heels in and refused to either double check the issue or negotiate price adjustment. Simply kept citing the company mantra that all cars are fully surveyed before selling. Frankly I would not think of buying from here because they take the unwelcome attitude that they are right full stop.

Purchased a used car from the Ashton site, very welcoming from the moment I walked in. The staff were helpful in deciding the right car for myself and my family, explained the process in detail and kept us up to date with progress.

Excellent team at Evans Halshaw at Ashton. Chris was incredibly helpful and went through everything really clearly for me in the process of trading in my car for a new one. Everyone at the showroom was really friendly and helpful.

Dealt with Pete for the second time now and again a very smooth, great experience. Absolutely love my new car, Pete made everything so easy. Will definitely be returning to Pete at Aston Under Lyne in a few years time to upgrade.

Very attentive to get the sale but appalling follow up. Was not valeted and even had a spoon and someone's dinner under a seat. Then found part of the internal structure was hanging down after 3 days I have rung and emailed so many times and still weeks later nothing has been done. I dread to think what it will be like if I have to claim on the hugely expensive insurance policy they sold me.
Had massive engine issues within months , not covered by insurance!! Do not buy your car from here. I did contact you many times and you did nothing !!

Further to my previous review/complaint, Tom phoned me and has resolved the issue with an outcome that suits us both. I very much appreciate the time, the apology and the care shown in this call which has aligned with all my previous contact with the company.

They were very happy to make the sale & push all the extras on me however within the first 2 weeks my back drivers tyre kept going down, this was pumped up twice within a short space of time but for a car that had only done just over 13,000 miles the tread on the tyres was shocking & even dangerous. I rang them up to discuss & they booked me in for a 'health check'. Why was a health check not carried out before I took delivery of the vehicle? Once it was in for its 'health check' they told me there was nothing wrong with the tyres they had been checked & were legal. In disgust I walked out telling them I would sort my own tyres out & would never go back to them or recommend them. I was told the manager would give me a ring to discuss later that day but not surprisingly I'm still awaiting that call from 29/3. I took my car to a garage & had new tyres put on costing me nearly £400 & was shown the nail in my back tyre that was clearly the cause of the slow puncture & had clearly been missed by the service dept which only made me more certain that no checks had been carried out on my car. Absolutely would not recommend & will NOT be going back!

Happy to make the sale, not however good at delivering on their promises. On collection the vehicle I purchased was filthy when they promised it would be valeted! The aircon needed re-gassing along with a few other issues. On contacting the dealer to give them the opportunity to rectify and oversight, I received no response or acknowledgment. I would not recommend Evans Halshaw Ashton-Under-Lyne to anyone!

As always great people make for great customer experiences. After a 3 hour trip from Swindon to Ashton under Lyne I walked into the sales area and was greeted by Kieran and the Sales Manager Ryan I received the best of welcomes ( and a much appreciated coffee!! ). Their sales process was carefully followed explaining everything to me in detail. A sense of humour and personality helped in completing the paperwork over time. At the end I was the very pleased owner of my Kuga st x line which I then had the pleasure of driving home. Kieran was professional and the perfect salesperson throughout and Ryan as the Manager very kindly came over to thank me for my business and shake my hand. A superb team who I would recommend to anyone. Would I drive a 6 hour round trip to buy my next car from them? You bet I would!!
