Staff at Evans Halshaw very good and explained what was necessary to me. They kept me informed regarding the servicing of the car and when it passed its MOT. I would definitely recommend them.

Please avoid this dealership
Never had a service so bad from a company before. Took my car to get fixed there under warranty, and was constantly lied about waiting times, asked to speak to a manager and the person would avoid at all times, extra costs added for no reason. Was a very frustrating experience. When buying the car they were very nice people, because they have to make a sale right... Bue the after care... if I could give zero stars I would.

Great service from start to finish
From the telephone call reminder for my service to the collection of my vehicle, carrying out of the service & additional work and return of my vehicle the staff kept me informed and were polite and professional in their conduct. When there was a delay in getting the parts needed, I was offered alternative arrangements if required. No complaints.

Repeated lies about progress of work
Car in for service and 1st MOT. Has been in there for 5 days and have been lied to daily about work completed and parts needed. This morning I was told car would be ready, I travelled there only to be told none of the work had been completed. When I first took the car in they said it would be ready the same day.
I realise work can take longer and can make allowances for this but lying about the progress repeatedly is unacceptable.

MOT on my car
Having the MOT on my car was hassle free. My car was picked up from my place of work and delivered back once the work was done. Plus there was a courtesy mini valet thrown in which saved me another job. 👍

FREE Warrenty/ RECALL work is fine when…
FREE Warrenty/ RECALL work is fine when it is free and i have no problem with the warranty work they did. BUT we got quoted £153 + vat per hour ish for anything not warranty, WOW! It is Citroen not Porsche. Sent us a quote for some discs and pads because the discs were 'lipped' at 60k which ALL discs are lipped BECAUSE THE PADS SIT SHY OF THE EDGE (sounds like they are acting like Quick Fit), there was no problem at all with the brake performance and no judder etc, no issues at all but they looked around the van to see if they could have a bite of the Cherry an some easy money. Almost £ 900 ish + vat for basic servicing any garage could do for £350 + VAT all day long, work the van does NOT even need at this moment in time and totally OTT. They mention 'tiny' oil leaks they would NEVER do on warranty but mention it if they can charge you £153 per hour. Not surprised the lads in the garage can get upset when they are on shy of £20 per hour for doing a hard job and getting covered in crap all day whilst the man in the office is on more and keeps his hands clean. £153 PER HOUR IS A JOKE, AND CITROEN OWNERS ARE GETTING LAUGHED AT.

Service was seamless from start to finish. Taz went out of his way to personally pick my new car up from a different dealer to ensure a smoother transition, then kept me updated throughout while the car went through its checks.
