Fantastic experience at Evans Halshaw BYD Mansfield

I picked up my new BYD on Tuesday and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience from start to finish.

A special mention has to go to Nathan (Nathaniel), who was absolutely brilliant throughout the whole process. He was friendly, polite and professional, kept me updated every step of the way, and made the whole experience feel effortless.

The car handover was particularly special. My brand-new car was covered up ready for me, and they actually unveiled it when I arrived — such a lovely touch and something that made the occasion feel really memorable. Even the little details, such as the thank-you card, showed the thought and care that had gone into the whole experience.

From choosing the car right through to driving it away, everything was handled brilliantly. Nathan is a real credit to Evans Halshaw BYD Mansfield, and I really appreciate the effort he put into making my collection day such a positive and memorable experience.

Scam alert. It seems this Vauxhall dealership Evans Halshaw, Mansfield advertises new cars at vastly reduced prices to get customers through the door. Once through the door they make excuses & lie about the offer - which obviously never existed.
We responded to the offer on Autotrader last weekend. Having been told this is a genuine offer by phone, we travelled for 45 mins to a sales appointment. We were given a test drive & salesman 'floor manager' confirmed the offer & took our details. When we came to order the car he claimed to be having 'technical problems' & could not complete the order. He would ring us back on Monday to proceed.
We have since made 3 calls to finally to be told that the offer is wrong & has been taken down after we had visited.
If this is the case why did they not explain this at our pre-visit call, or indeed at the appointment?
Because it was a scam! The offer never existed in the first place.
Bad practice Evans Halshaw. We trusted your word. Obviously you are not to be trusted.

Absolute amazing service. Very friendly and can't do enough to help. Nothing seems too much trouble.

I had Nathaniel as a salesman and from taking the car for a test drive to driving it off the forecourt as my own, he could not have been more helpful. Always available to answer any questions or concerns. I would highly recommend not only BYD but would suggest dealing with Nathaniel. Totally happy with my experience and my new car.
