Yesterday I went in to Ernest jones at the Trafford centre looking for an engagement ring. I was greeted by a lady called Christa
Within 10 minutes chrisa had given me chance to look at rings and asked if I wanted to try some on.
This lady was so amazing, she is a credit to your company. Unfortunately I didn’t find the right ring for me, I had already fallen in love with one at another shop.
Chrisa explained how Ernest Jones’s make rings as well and you can pick everything. This is a great option for people who have a vision of what they want a ring to look like but haven’t seen one. I’d seen the exact one I wanted somewhere else, I told Christa this, she took all my contact details and said I’ll call you in a few weeks to see if you have ordered it (I have very tiny fingers so any ring I picked would have to be made especially for me) Christa rang me when she was on her break, she had found the ring I had seen on the internet and rang to find out how much it would be to have it made through them, it was a lot cheaper, but I had already made my choice and ordered.
Christa really did her best and gets 10/10 for customer service, my head was already made up though, and I didn’t want to take a risk having a ring made that I couldn’t guarantee would be exactly the same as what I’d seen.

Absolutely disgraceful. My partner bought me a flat engagement ring 2018. Only worn for special occasion. Lost a diamond from ring took it back. Was charged £460 for replacement. Worn 3 times since then. Realised another diamond is missing. This is supposed to be wedding ring worn every day. No way am I paying for another replacement. Don’t anybody buy there ring from Ernest jones

Followed up. So on speaking to earnest jones in Trafford centre was told my ring would be sent of to service team to be looked at. Lovely manager in shop looked at my ring with magnifying glass. Verified there was no damage apart from stone missing. Looked like the same stone that was replaced last time. Sent off to be assessed. 2 weeks later got report back that there looks like damage near missing stone therefore they won’t fix it even though its still under its repair warranty. I said well there wasn’t any damage on ring when it left shop. Ur manager verified no damage. Was told by earnest jones can’t go against service department decision. So there not fixing it without my paying another fee. Please don’t buy any wedding engagement ring from these people. Only interested in taking your money. Absolutely disgusting service

My fiancé and I went to Ernest Jones in the Trafford Centre to buy our wedding rings. Elaine was amazing, very knowledgeable and helpful without being at all pushy.
We had a lovely relaxed experience with a private consultation and even a glass of fizz (other drinks on offer too) which made it feel extra special.
They also offer a bespoke service to get rings redesigned and made up just for you if the designs they have on offer aren't quite right. We have gone for this option as I want my ring to fit with my engagement ring which is quite a unique shape. This process gives you a resin ring made first to make sure the design and fit is perfect before continuing onto final ring production. We are so excited to go back in when my resin ring is ready.
Can't fault this entire experience at all and Elaine was definitely the reason it was so seamless.

Another week on & we're still waiting for a refund!!!! Absolutely shocking service!

I purchased a white gold wedding ring, that after only 6 weeks of wearing, had become dull, scratched and looked like a cheap piece of tat, not a £420 heavy-weight white gold wedding ring! I then followed the required steps to return the ring for an exchange, expecting a seamless and professional resolution. However, what has followed has been a series of delays, miscommunications, and a complete lack of urgency or accountability from your team.

Despite numerous phone calls and store visits, the situation remains unresolved, and I continue to face poor customer service at every turn. It is incredibly disheartening to deal with a company that seems uninterested in rectifying an issue with their product or treating their customers with the respect they deserve. In fact, in the Trafford Center store, one of the female members of staff, simply shrugged at me, and her male colleague told me he didn’t see an issue with the ring. On the next encounter, a ring they were suggesting as an exchange actually had a dent in it and was scratched, this might I add, was a supposed new ring. The manager then promised to organise another ring to store, (from another branch) by 27th December 2024, this was after him initially telling me that there was nothing he could do, he couldn’t simply order a replacement, as he needed to make sure that his “tills balanced” and that he would call me to come back, when the ring had been transferred from the other branch, and was in store. To date, I am still waiting for any such contact. The attitude of all the sales assistants I have encountered, including the store manager, leave an awful lot to be desired, I will never shop at or recommend Ernest Jones again.

At this point, I am left questioning whether I will ever receive the exchange I am entitled to, or if a refund will be need to be asked for, due to their ineptitude to handle basic customer service and product quality issues.

Contacted the Trafford Centre store of Ernest Jones as I had an issue with my engagement ring. The problem was identified and it was found to be a manufacturing defect. As a result of this, the Ernest Jones policy is a like for like exchange. This ring was 15 years old and this policy still applied, so an exchange was arranged. However, irrespective of that, the customer service I received from John, Victoria, Ali and Saffy was second to none. They were patient with me, took their time with selections of a replacement, ensured I understood the options I had and even recognised me each time I arrived at store. They are a credit to your company.

We visited the Trafford Centre branch and were helped by a friendly, patient, Spanish lady. She let my wife try on a few rings and then found the size we wanted online, so we could order it for delivery. She was very pleasant to deal with and was very patient when our daughter woke up from her nap.

Terrible experience do not buy from Ernest Jones Trafford Centre in Manchester. We bought a wedding ring set. Some diamonds have fell out of the cluster and they refuse to repair.
They stated the ring has damage that has caused the issue.
There has been no impact, my wife’s finger would have broken if there was an impact string enough to dislodge set in diamonds and she has had no accidents.
They quoted me a ridiculous price to repair it. To make matters worse they asked if we had an extended warranty but we were never offered this option at the time of purchase 2 years ago.
Head office didn’t want to know blaming us for their poor craftsmanship.
The manager at the branch was pleasant but ultimately powerless.
Time to go down the legal route.
Beware don’t waste your money as something supposed to last a lifetime has not and they have no interest in resolving any issues.

Do not buy your rings from this company. They are poorly made and will not last.
We spent money buying a platinum engagement and wedding ring set. After 2 years some diamonds fell out of the cluster. We took the ring back and they blamed ‘accidental damage’ as the cause.
My wife has had no accident to her ring finger just worn everyday as usual.
They have refused to repair on this basis. Obviously you must presume their workmanship is so poor that the ring will fall to pieces during everyday use.
Take this advice do not waste your money and the customer service is disgusting.

We went into the Trafford centre store today to purchase a watch for our son's birthday.
We were served by Chrysa who was lovely. She gave us lots of advice and was really helpful and friendly.
Service in the store was absolutely fantastic, this is the second time we have used this store and each time service is excellent.

I went into the Trafford centre store to collect my cartier watch after a service admittedly later than I should have to be told the watch had been sent to head office to be scrapped to recover the cost of the service, which was considerably cheaper than the cost of my watch, I was then told they would telephone me the morning after when I called the store at lunchtime I spoke with the manager when I asked as to why I hadn't received my call he replied why would I ring if I had no information absolutely disgusting attitude.

Shocking customer service.
I went into the shop and purchased a gold diamond ring that needed to be resized. This wasn’t a problem as we were going on holiday the day after for a week. I was reassured that the ring would be ready for me to pick up on my return but if there was any problems they would text or ring with an update.
We heard nothing all week so decided to ring before we headed to the store to pick the ring up only to be told the ring hadn’t even come into the store yet but they would keep us posted.
Nothing from them for another 4 days until we phoned again. The ring would be ready on the afternoon and they would post it first thing Monday morning and I would receive it on Tuesday (still no apologies) Tuesday morning has come and still no ring so I’ve just phoned the store to be informed the ring is still there and hasn’t been posted as promised.
Ring should arrive tomorrow but I’m not holding my breath.
I feel so disappointed by the whole experience. I won’t ever buy anything from here ever again

Easy to use website, chose item required for collection and was in store for today.

Bought 2 pairs of sleeper earrings £55 each one of the earrings broke soon as I put it in cheap gold I sent them back still not refunded 9 days later

Josh in the Trafford centre branch was fab, very nice young gentleman who looked after us well.

Ordered online as click and collect. After payment, received a confirmation email stating when my jewellery could be collected. Arrived at store and after 30 minutes of waiting, was finally told that the product I had ordered had been sold to someone else. This is an appalling process resulting in dreadful customer service. Safe to say, I wont be using Earnest Jones in the future

Myself and my fiance went into Ernest Jones in Trafford Centre on Black Friday to pick our wedding bands and we were helped by Donna who was absolutely amazing. She was extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her. Thank you so much Donna for helping us choose our perfect wedding rings!

Hello me and my partner bought a Boss watch from Ernest Jones in Trafford centre, We managed to get a price match which they accepted. we wanted to get it engraved but we was running out of time on our day so we managed to go back to the store the following Friday to get the watch engraved. We had a lovely lady Donna who looked after us on these two occasions, we wanted on the back of the watch to say, Happy 80th Dad, Steve & Mandy x
But we got back Happy Birthday Dad Love Steve & Mandy, our only disappointment was the 80th was missing, even though it wasn't what we asked for, we found out the machine wasn't working properly, the man who did the engraving said he will find a space for the 80th so we waited and was given a drink in the store which was lovely but when the watch was ready the 80th was faint and right up the top so I asked why is the fonts darker than the 80th and the man said it was the laser that's why it was like that, I think the man noticed we wasn't sure on what we thought about the back of the watch and he said he wouldn't charge us, although it was free due to the mistake we would of preferred to pay £35 and had Happy 80th Dad, Steve & Mandy done the correct way, we are a bit upset about the mistake as it is a special gift for my partners father Birthday in September. We only wished we was given an alternative even if they changed the watch to a new one or got the back removed so we could get the correct engraving. We are still a fan of Ernest jones and sometimes these things happen but we wished the matter was resolved better.

I attended Ernest Jones Trafford Centre, Manchester today and was blown away by the service from Elaine and Charley during my visit.
Both of the ladies gave outstanding customer service.
They are welcoming, knowledgeable, patient and willing to answer any and all questions. Their professionalism is a credit to them both. ( I wish all people in the sales and service industry were half as good as them). Nothing was too much trouble and they made me feel a valued customer. Elaine actually remembered my name from 3 years previous when I was in the store. Outstanding.
The store is light and bright and comfortable with a lovely selection of goods. I definitely recommend a visit. However whilst I’m sure all the staff are proficient seek out Elaine or Charley and be treated to customer service at its absolute best.
