The machine selection is pretty good, but there is no air conditioning and the single fan is not enough to move the air so that it is not stifling hot

Energie fitness clarehall is a gym that I really enjoy going to, staff are always friendly and the gym is always cleaned at the end of each day, however there are lots of things that need to be worked on considering that the membership prices have been increased. Firstly and most importantly is the upstairs gym has no ventilation and is very uncomfortable to be in during busy hours as everybody is breathing in each-others sweat rather than clean air, all we have for ventilation is a tiny window in the corner of the gym that opens a few cm. Another issue in the gym is the very bad smell of sewage in the bathrooms which likely suggests that there is a plumbing problem that needs to be looked at in the bathrooms or showers. And lastly the gym is severely overcrowded but despite the gyms small facilities the staff keep bringing in new members. The gym members would really appreciate if these issues were looked at, thank you.

I am a member in your Gym, in Clarehall Dublin 13, so for last few weeks I have asked staff when are they going to fix the 3 cross trainers in the Gym, and staff just told me they have informed the owner several times.
Now there are only 6 cross trainers in the Gym, and when it's busy you will be waiting but now it's ridiculous.
We pay our membership on time ever month so the least you can do is maintain and fix you equipment.

I’ve been attending this gym for over two years and have always found the staff to be friendly, welcoming, and extremely helpful. Olivia, in particular, is a fantastic trainer who brings great encouragement and energy to every class, although all of the team deserve recognition for how supportive they are.

The only negative aspect, and unfortunately quite an important one, is that much of the equipment is outdated and frequently out of order, particularly the treadmills and spin bikes. Updating and maintaining the equipment more regularly would make a huge difference to the overall experience.

The gym used to be very good, but unfortunately it has declined significantly in recent times. The staff are excellent and do their utmost to help members and keep the place running smoothly. However, the owner seems largely uninterested in maintaining the gym and, in many ways, appears to be hindering the staff’s efforts.

Membership prices were increased with promises of new machines and a better atmosphere, but neither has materialised. The gym is now overcrowded, with more members constantly being onboarded despite limited space and facilities. To make matters worse, there is little to no ventilation and no air conditioning, making the environment uncomfortable, especially during busy periods. It gives the impression that profit is being prioritised over the customer experience and staff wellbeing.

The gym is easy to navigate as a new gym goer and the guys on the desk are helpful if ur not sure of anything. Only issue I’ve had is there are a couple of treadmills where the incline doesn’t work and some machines where the pin for the weight is missing, taken out to use on another machine. It would be great to have this sorted. Apart from that it’s a perfect gym for me

I go to Energy Fitness in Clare Hall and I can honestly say I’m extremely happy with my choice! The location is very clean, well organized, and fully equipped with modern machines suitable for both beginners and more advanced members.
The atmosphere is always positive and motivating, and the staff are incredibly friendly and professional. Whenever I needed help or information, they were welcoming and respectful. It’s clear that they genuinely care about their members and want to provide the best possible experience.
I highly recommend Energy Fitness Clare Hall to anyone looking for a clean, friendly, and well-managed gym. For me, it’s the perfect place to train! 💪

I think people should be warned that they charge double when signing up and if you want to cancel your membership, they charge an extra month. But that's not the end of the story, I cancelled in November and they are still sitting on my account and taking my money, which is actually a scam. Unfortunately, I sent several emails, to which I received no response. I will call my bank tomorrow, stop the usurpation of my bank account. Greed is a nasty thing because I believe I am not the only one

Had a membership for a month. Manager said they'd cancel it and WOULDNT chatge the account. I was visiting the country for the month, and only needed one anyway. Imagine my horror when I'm abroad a month later and my account gets charged. I contact them and they say I should've canceled it and they never offered such a thing in the first place, refusing to refund and telling me to just use the membership. A scam and not really worth it.

Best gym in the area- always clean. Big range of equipment. Variety of classes and all staff is so nice.

I find energy fitness a great gym. There is a good range of equipment which is also well-maintained. The staff here are so friendly and always ready to offer a helping hand,they also offer a great variety of classes, I find the atmosphere here is very motivating, supportive. I would Highly recommend coming here,

I'm getting back to the shape for last 5 weeks after nearly 8 years without any workout. Its great place for locals, very quiet between 10am to 2pm.

Great gym and great staff! Definitely recommend

The gym workout areas are small but fine. Worst of all, there is only 1 female & 1 male toilet cubicle beside each other. There are 2 working showers which are of zero use because there are NO CHANGING FACILITIES/nowhere to get dressed. Lockers are on top of each other in a tight small hall so your constantly in peoples way. There is no area outside to lock bikes. As a result, people are locking their bike to poles at the entrance which then block the way when walking in & driving past!
