Ordered from Elsie’s attic for the first time and I’m impressed! The dress is beautiful, good quality, fast delivery and such good value for money.

The only downside is that i ordered using the size guide and it’s a tad too big around the bust (hard for me as I am quite busty lol). However, I am happy to pay for it to be altered as the dress was such good value. I will definitely be ordering again!

My dress arrived today and it is absolutely beautiful. the detail on the dress is stunning. I am so pleased I purchased from Elsies Attic (the delivery was very quick) I will defiantly purchase from them in the future!

I brought a dress and it was beautiful . lovely quality but unfortunatley did not fit and it was the only size they had in stock. i was worried about returning the dress after reading negative reviews on here about returns but after following the return policy exactly i have been swiftly refunded with no problems at all

Elsie’s attic is my ‘go to’ for all my special dresses, and branching out into accessories too pleases me greatly. I have made multiple orders over the years and continue to find them selling beautiful pieces of clothing, competitively priced and with exceptional customer service. Will continue to shop with confidence.

Recently ordered a dress for a special occasion from Elsies Attic and was impressed by the experience. The dress arrived well packaged and the garment was well made and a wonderful style true to images on the website. The dress was I feel true to size and I was more than happy with the price point.

Unfortunately on the day of the event I had some trouble donning the dress due to the style of zip (rather than a fault) and an unhelpful boyfriend!

I emailed elsies attic explaining the issue and enquiring into whether I could return the garment as I really had no other needs for such an occasion dress in the future. I couldn't recall which day I had received the item and if I was still within the 14 day returns window.

I received a swift and personal response from the team fully informing me of my options and advising me what needed to be done. I managed to send the item back and was fully refunded the next day.

My only feedback for improvement would be to extend the return window to 28 days rather than the stated 14 to allow for greater flexibility for returns for those with full time jobs who struggle to get to the post office!

Will defiantly be returning to buy more of their beautiful styles in future.

I have ordered lots of items from this company and find them very helpful, high quality and fast delivery. I did have a few questions which were dealt with very quickly and I shall definitely be shopping with them again and again!

I sent back a dress as it was to big for me.they say they wont refund my money as it had stains on it.i sent that dress back in perfect condition.
They lie just to keep your money.

Where do I even start. Ordered a dress at the end of February which was on preorder and said it would be dispatched the first week in April. Not a problem as the event I was buying it for was the third week so plenty of time. Ordered my usual size after looking at online measurements.

The monstrosity that arrived was like something that you see on those joke posts online when people post 'expectation' pictures of what is advertised and then 'reality' pictures of what they actually receive. If I hadn't been so upset I would have laughed but with less that a week to go until my event it just sent me into a panic. The material was nothing like what was advertised, it was a cheap polyester. The colours weren't the same as the advert picture and just to top it off the lining had been so badly sewn in that it stuck out around the neck and under the arms. The fit was horrific, there was too much material in places and not enough in others, an impressive combination.

And then the customer service, or rather the complete lack of it, awful communication at every turn. The one thing I did right with this company was that I paid through Paypal, and thank god I did or I'd not have got any money back I imagine. Who I assumed is the owner of the company Amanda emailed me saying that unless I closed the PayPal case I had opened she would not be able to refund me any money. ABSOLUTE BAG OF LIES. PLEASE DON'T DO THIS. Escalate your case to PayPal and they will sort it out for you. Once a case is closed with PayPal it cannot be reopened and you won't have anyone to help you deal with this dreadful company.

Amusingly I know 5 other ladies who had also ordered exactly the same dress and all of theirs were the same so I know mine wasn't a one off. We've had a good laugh about it though.

If I could have left a 0 star review I would have. If I could upload pictures of the dress that arrived I'd upload those as well, just to provide some comedy value.

I share the opinion of these other reviews that this company has poor customer service.
One person on here has said that they did a backhanded apology of 'sorry YOU FEEL you have had poor customer service' the owner said pretty much the same to me. Not an apology at all in my book.
First they said they'd dispatched my order and then said they hadn't really.
Then when it arrived it was poor quality and had a huge hole in the pocket.
On return they sent me an email that said I owed them £3.10 but did not outline where this charge had come from. I sent them an angry email (but stating only facts) and they replied saying apologies that I was confused. Rude rude rude. Think the owner has a massive problem with customers complaining and instead of looking after them, it obviously gets her back up.

Read the delivery info before ordering. If you need to send an item back, you are responsible for all delivery charges. They do not refund either way - I expected to pay for one way, but I didn't expect to have to pay for a return. Dress was okay quality wise, although the edging looked unfinished, as if the hem hadn't been turned up - and the sizing didn't really work out for me. Despite measuring it didn't fit at all.

This company are selling other brands of clothing ie lindy bop, lady vintage and passing them off as thier own brand with over double the price tag! Its unprofessional and very misleading for customers.

I ordered a dress from this company and they immediately took my money. I was aware that it was on pre-order and the email said it would take 3 - 6 weeks for delivery. After six weeks I emailed and they said it would be sent out the following week. When I still received nothing the next week, I rang and they said it would be sent out in the next two days. When it got to more than 8 weeks since I placed my order, I emailed again, a very polite message which simply said that I thought their lack of communication was disappointing. I got no response, so tried to contact them via their Facebook page. They deleted my comments and I received an email saying that they had cancelled my order because I "was so disappointed in their customer service." Not the best way to improve the situation. Won't be ordering again.

Firstly, they comes across like a "great British sewing bee" type of set up. In truth they operate from an industrial unit in Northampton and are a limited company.
Their "cutesy" image disappears if you have to contact them with an issue and especially if you have the misfortune to deal with "Owner and director" Amanda Pike.
My wife bought a dress and petticoat from them for £62 but when it arrived the sizing was significantly different from the website and it looked appalling.
The only option was to send it back and because of the size of the petticoat it cost $5.50 to return it. I repackaged it and sent it back with royal mails signed for service.
It was delivered on 4th June.
I contacted them on 10th June to find out if they had received the package and Amanda Pike responded with their refund policy. Another person called Viki also replied stating that they had already processed any parcels received on 4th June and I would need to send the tracking details to them.
Obviously a red flag was raised and I opened a case with paypal to protect my payment. I sent an email expressing my concerns and had another rather cold and unfriendly email from Pike which did not clear any of my concerns.
The following day I was contacted and told that they had tried to process the refund but because of the paypal resolution they couldnt. I made the mistake of cancelling the resolution. When I received the payment it was only for the dress at £38.
Paypal does not allow you to open another case so at that point I believed I had lost the rest of the payment. I contacted them again to express my concern and the following day I received the rest of the refund.
Obviously my wife will not be buying from them again.
I believe that this whole situation could have been avoided if they had simply sent an email when the items were received to confirm the return and then give a date the refund would be processed.
Why it takes 5 days (in my case 8 days) to return a payment is beyond me.
I would also urge Amanda Pike to use "warmer" and more customer friendly language when communicating or just leave it to Viki who actually comes across as a human being.
