I have very mixed opinions on this brand. So I'll start with the positives first. I love the concept, I like most of the designs, the eco friendly packaging and I like the fact that they donate a small portion of the profits to charity. These are all the things that made me order in the first place.

Now, the reason I haven't ordered again (I have a bracelet and a couple of steps on it at the moment) but honestly the value of the bracelet is non existent and yet so expensive. The bracelet itself made from like a plastic cord - so obviously not really worth the money in terms of materials (€50ish). It is sturdy though. As for the steps (charms and spacers etc) they are just under €20 each or €30 for the glass ones. The materials are surgical steel & glass so not the most expensive of materials. So when I started adding steps to my wishlist, looking at the cost really seemed crazy. Lets say I ordered 4 country steps & just 1 glass step, I realised it would cost me €100 approx and it would barely make a dent on the bracelet I have (they are very small) If I was to buy all the items that are applicable to me in my current wishlist it would come in at over €1000 which would make it the most expensive piece of jewellery I own which is a bit crazy when it's also made of the cheapest materials. I just can't pull the trigger on that so now I really regret buying it cause I have this basically empty worthless cord bracelet that I've already invested €90 in. My own fault for not thinking it through before ordering and looking at all the prices and not paying attention to the fact that it's steel and not silver. I just think the prices are outrageous really for a tiny piece of stainless steel or glass and the prices should be half what they are, given that stainless steel is about 50pence per KG, I struggle to see the legitimate justification for the high cost. I really hope the brand at some point decides to reconsider their price point.

I love my El Camino bracelet and I will keep adding to it retrospectively. I would love an option to add an additional engraving to the countries/cities like the year or date of my visit. I'm considering ordering custom steps to add this in but it would be a great to be able to add this to ready made steps.

Je mets 1 étoile car pour une commande de 120 euros j'ai eu 40 euros de frais de douane , sur leur site ils disent livraison gratuite partout , mais ils oublient de dire les frais de douane alors attention car déjà les produits ne sont pas donnés et avec les frais de douane c'est encore plus cher!
J'ai envoyé un message en essayant de discuter sur les frais ils m'ont gentiment dit d'aller me faire voir .
Certes les produits sont jolis mais le SAV et leur politique de frais d'envoie n'est pas à la hauteur!
Je ne recommande pas surtout si vous êtes en Union Européenne car vous allez payer 2 fois les produits et franchement ça n'en vaut pas la peine.
C'est fort dommage! Je n'achèterai plus chez eux ils n'ont qu'a être clair sur leur site!!!

Dommage qu'il y ait des frais de douane... d'autant que le process douanier amène des délais de livraison hasardeux.
Sinon, le produit est sympa et semble être de bonne qualité... à voir sur le long terme.

This is my 2nd bracelet I purchased as a replacement after wearing mine without ever taking it off for over 8years! & I snagged it or I’m sure it would have lasted even longer! I Love it & the memories it brings back when I see all the places I’ve been. Great service & quality & I would definitely recommend it!

For me it's the ability to have custom steps created, sometimes reminders of places but more often reminders of current and next steps in life and things that are important to me. Coupled with so many other steps to choose from my bracelets have become talking points which sometimes breaks the ice in new groups etc. Love, love, love El Camino! Easy ordering process, kept informed of order progress oh and each lovely time that little parcel drops through the letterbox!

Loved El Camino bracelet idea since I first saw it advertised on FB. I decide I have travelled and visited so many places in the PST that I would need 4 bracelets at least, so calmed it down a bit and decided to collect from when I got it, all the new places I have visited or will visit now I have retired status. So enjoying choosing steps and countries, etc,etc and look forward to many in the future. Terrific service. Very quick.
