Repaired my phone in 2 days and received it back in less than a week. Very helpful when I rang for an update wouldn’t send my phone anywhere else.

Excellent customer service over the phone. Swift and efficient in their processing of my claim via online. Much appreciated that the process was simple and straightforward. I would highly recommend.

Excellent communication from city main themselves and they helped when I needed it thanks to Lisa in customer service so 5 stars for that, the other 2 are lost as sadly there authorised repairers can't get the same credit, first I was a little dubious about sending my £1700 phone by mail but I did as asked, packaged it well and sent it to a trading estate in kent, it went recorded tracked and all that jazz, so Monday at 10.27am they received my Phone as royal mail sent a delivered notice with a nice photo and signature , I felt reassured it had arrived safely , I went onto city mains site and checked if they had received it on there system , .....awaiting delivery ? , so maybe a bit soon, so Tuesday passes nothing, then Wednesday still showing awaiting delivery, so I contact city main and Lisa was a great help she sent the company a request and finally on Friday afternoon it now shows as received, my issue is the site claims regular updates to keep a track of your precious phones progress, the site updates daily so why couldn't they be more efficient, rather than leaving me hanging for 5 days, I wasn't even in a rush for the repair as I have a spare phone but just acknowledgement that it was safely in there hands, although 5 days just to accept it has arrived would annoy many people id imagine who were left without a phone for this length of time.

So thumbs up citymain for customer service, its just a shame your chosen repairers didn't hold up there end, i am awaiting further updates on when the repair will happen and when i might get my Phone back

UPDATE
So after 2 weeks the repairers ended up saying it was un economical to repair the screen, in a way I was glad they would no longer be involved, so citymain instantly updated to say a replacement phone was on its way , having read some reviews of poor condition replacements I was dubious but today just 2 days after citymain ordered the replacement a brand new and sealed pixel fold arrived , I couldn't be more please with citymains service and have accordingly adjusted my rating to 5 Stars, Thanks for all your help

I've been paying this company for over 3 years. I've lost my phone they have sent out a new one for the price of £100! I've received it and it's not even a brand new phone it's has dirt in all the holes and scratches and even the same colour.

I rang once and they said there was nothing they could do. I rang a second time and they sent me a email to send photos of the device to review it. This shouldn't take 2 phone calls to actually get through. fingers crossed this is sorted but policy has now been cancelled as I am extremely disappointed

I had to wait 9 weeks for Lyca mobile to block the phone stolen, after that thanks for citymain it took them just two days to provide me with new phone. Wonderful service

What an amazing company! Had a brilliant young man Greg, help us out over the past 2 days, he went above and beyond to help us sort out a very tricky claim. Not only was he extremely polite, but he had the patience of a saint in helping 2 older ladies, muddle our way through the process. Thank you Greg you were a star.

From the moment I put a claim in on my liquid damaged phone this company was very helpful at each step.james and greg put my mind at ease and from when they received my damaged phone on the Monday I received a replacement by the Thursday. A great insurance company who were very helpful.

Phone fell on floor..screen smashed. New phone within a week. Rapid service. No hassle at all whatsoever. Straight forward process. Better than protectyourbubble all day long.

After a shocking experience of having my phone stolen literally out of my hand, I filed a police report and thankfully had insurance.
They came through quickly, I had my new device with me within a couple of days.
I was, however, overcharged on the excess amount. I had to reach out to them to rectify it, which they did.
I also had pay a fee to amend my insurance to cover the new device, be mindful of that if you're ever in this situation.

The speed of the dealing with my claim and subsequent email responses were impressive in that they were comprehensive and helpful.

It is the best insurance company ever, they respond ASAP, and deliver great service. I am very happy wiyh them.

I've used Insurance2go for the past couple of years now to cover 2 of our mobiles, at a reasonable monthly premium.
Beyond that there's been no need to make any contact (just the way I like it) until 2 occasions in this past month in the lead up to our son's birthday, with regards renewing his mobile phone.
So, sceptically pesimistic?.... perhaps, but I'm reluctant to deal with companies over the phone these days as generally speaking I find it a troublesome exercise, often resulting in more obstacles than the one you're initially making contact for.
However my Victor Meldrew-esque assumptions were slapped right back to the 80's by the most loveliest person I've had the complete pleasure to be lucky enough to have had answer the phone when I rang on the 1st occasion earlier this month - my query was dealt with swiftly & clearly, but it did however require a follow-up action to be carried out yesterday to complete the change of insurance from our son's old device to the new one he was getting on his birthday.
I was assured this would take place shortly after 10am (as that's when they started work) and in all honesty I was left with so much confidence off the back of my call that I completely forgot all about it, until recieving 2 emails at 10:13am yesterday, being the insurance schedule & a confirmation email closed with "I hope your son has a great birthday" - I mean come on, is it just me or is that not flippin amazing....in this age of quantity over quality that one little added touch turned an already pleasant experience into a lovely personalised one.
Now, as if that wasn't enough & at the risk of boring the review reader, I was left with 2 tasks to be completed as a requirement of the policy. One was straight forward, but the other turned out to be not so much (no fault of Insurance2go / Citymain I might add but rather my mobile service provider - remember those troublesome calls I referred to earlier 😏) which led to it being necessary to make that second call to Insurance2go, to ensure that the insurance would not be voided.
"Good afternoon.....Helen..." was the salutation, "Ahaa" I exclaimed like some psycho frootloop
Helen: "hello, are you ok"
Me: "would you happen to be the Helen that completed a policy change for me shortly after 10am this morning?"
Helen: "Happy Birthday?"
Anyways, without documenting my glaringly obviously overwhelming satisfaction with the rest of this call verbatim, the issue at hand was neither any fault of theirs nor routine to deal with but suffice to say that a solution was formulated, again personal to the circumstance at hand rather than the generically rigid "we don't/can't do that" - I really think that won't / don't / can't do not exist here! 😊
I really genuinely wish that everyone had a Helen, daily life would be so much more easily negotiated.....in a pleasant & fun way.

Soooo, that was for any prospective customer - if I wasn't clear enough, go for it, they've got you! 😉

I would like to think that you're already very much aware how much of a credit Helen is to your organisation, professional obviously, discerning & friendly whilst not over familiar, humorous & just a lovely person.
As a consumer, to be left with the confidence that someone is going to do as they've said they will, is a rare occurrence.... I'm actually a little envious that you get to have the opportunity to interact with Helen frequently, it's a positive experience that I won't forget.
Said experience is already generating that valuable word of mouth to family & friends at our son's birthday tea with whom I discussed it & of course, it goes without saying that for any gadget / personal item related insurance, I shall be looking no further at all.

Really easy to make a claim and send off. Kept updated with progress and sent back within a week.

Broken phone was fixed and returned in 5 days which is great service I'm clumsy and in the 4/5 years I have owned my phone been with citymain since I took the phone on and this is the 3rd time I've had to claim each time has been no hassle every time it has been a screen and I can not fault there service and excess charge of a 100 is not bad considering a phone screen is 300 direct with Samsung I would recommend and will be keeping my policy going qnd reinsuring any new device with them too

What a difference it makes when you get TOP level service from Lisa and Cara..they are asset for the business.

I have been with this insurance company for 5 years, probably more and always amazing with any problem I have had. Would recommend

Very slow service. Took 2 weeks for a replacement phone to be sent. Initially tried to repair a phone that was clearly beyond repair before agreeing it was beyond economical repair and arrange a replacement. Online system shows very minimal information and the updates lag days behind what is actually happening. Phone line staff are helpful but have minimal information. I was told the replacement would be sent next day delivery - clearly this doesn't include weekends because delivery took three days from DPD receiving the parcel. And to top it off the phone was a different colour to mine and nobody had told me this. My insurance renews soon and I'll be looking for a company that don't use citymain to handle claims.

This is the second time in recent months that I have had to put in a claim for damaged phones, due to clumsy teen daughters. And on both occasions I have received excellent service. The whole process took around 2 weeks which I think is reasonable. Claims portal is easy to use. On one occasion I stupidly sent the wrong device in, after speaking with customer service I had it returned to me free of charge and the correct device replaced with no issue. Very happy with the service.
