Unbelievably poor customer service.

I have been an eBay customer for years and tonight I went onto eBay to sell a necklace and this would be the first time selling an item. They emailed me and said they permanently suspended my account. This is for no reason at all. I requested a call back and omg, this was the most rudest, unfriendliest and unhelpful person I have ever come across. She took my details and then said your account has been permanently blocked and she said I was a threat to their community. How am I threat when all I was wanting to do is a list a necklace to sell. She told me I am threat and then hung up. She spoke to me as if I was a criminal or something. I’m sorry but if you are going to permanently block a persons account then have the decency to at least tell your long term customer why. The way you speak your customers is disgusting and the way she made me feel accusing me of being something I’m not. I was very polite and friendly with her and she treated me like I was some shite on her shoe. I’m shocked 😳 looking through the other reviews I noticed nobody from EBay replies to any of the reviews. Just shows they really don’t give a hoot about any of their customers.

I’ve been a loyal eBay customer for many years and have never had reason to complain—until now. I have always received good service in the past and have purchased quite a number of items through your platform.

However, I am extremely disappointed with a recent experience.

I ordered two watches from the same seller, which were intended as keepsakes in memory of two deceased relatives. Unfortunately, these items never arrived.

The seller chose to use Fastway Couriers (also known as "Aramex"), a delivery service that is widely regarded as unreliable in Ireland. They are known for having no customer service, no working landline, and no way to track parcels effectively. I have tried contacting them multiple times with no success.

It has now been over four weeks, and despite repeated requests, I have not received a refund, nor the items.

I am writing to ask once again:

Please issue a full refund immediately.

If the watches can be located, they should be delivered via An Post or another reliable courier.

Otherwise, your Money Back Guarantee should apply without delay.

Right now, it feels like I am only being given lip service with no resolution. If the Money Back Guarantee is genuine, then please demonstrate it by resolving this issue.

Thank you in advance, and I hope this can be resolved promptly and professionally.

I cant believe this is not closed yet!
I sold item for 365eur, they robbing scammers ebay charged their fees and my total i get 290eur plus i need to make a shipping international around 35eur.
I cant believe humanity gone completely. Wow.
DO NOT use ebay at all if you dont want to be scammed sneaky way.

I'd give zero stars if I could. After being scammed I received no refund. The customer care is atrocious. I'll never order from them again. Stay away.

Ordered perfume several months ago,was informed the order was lost and I'd be refunded,that was also months ago,I tried contacting the seller to no avail.Will never order from eBay again,I just wouldn't take the chance.

I have used eBay for years, and I bought a laptop and it broke on arrival. The screen was flickering every now and then. Ebay gave me a full refund and let me keep the computer. Now, bear in mind I have done business with eBay for 20 years and bought several laptops, and this was the first time I had an issue. Top company.

Just after making 2 purchases, they locked me out of my account. I tried to login again but I have an outdated phone number and they refused to update it, even though I provided them ALL the information they asked for AND security code to verify my identity. The only solution they gave me was to make a new account and if I needed any help with my purchase, I would have to call them again.

I ordered an iPhone for €1115 for my daughters 16th birthday present. It showed delivered so I contacted the seller to say that its showing delivered but i never received it, but no joy. I then contacted eBay.ie who said we'll look at your case and get back to you in three days. After 3 days I got a reply saying item is showing as delivered so case is closed. I tried to contact them again but was told case is closed. Next stop is the credit union for me as I will have to borrow money to buy my daughter a new phone (not from eBay) as I would hate to disappoint her.

E Bay allows customers to be scammed and they do not do anything to help.

I've used Ebay to buy and sell for over 10 years. Once you know how to figure out good and bad sellers, it's really great to use for deals and shopping. They also have a money back guarantee if you are worried.

This is my first time shopping with eBay.ie ,it all looked fine at the start but has gone down hill since!! Waiting on a delivery from the UK for nearly two weeks now with little or no updates on where or when my parcel will arrive, a pure joke!!

Also I sent messages to seller and courier "musicmagpie+whistl "and gone no reply, disappointing.

Une pierre est unique il n'y en a pas deux pareilles !!!

Détrompez vous car sur les enchères d'EBAY (en plus de la vente à l'unité), des IMITATIONS sont vendues comme PIERRE BRUTE NATURELLE (pas de traitement teinte ...) à INTERVALLES REGULIERS et les photos sont TOUTES LES MEMES (est notifié dans le descriptif que l'acheteur recevra la meme pièce que la photo...) SEULE POSSIBILITÉ IMITATION EN RESINE VERRE PLASTIQUE OU PIERRE TRAITÉE (modifié par l'humain excepté pour son extraction...)

COMMENT EBAY LAISSE FAIRE CELA ?
Afin que les acheteurs sachent que ceux sont des FAUX/DES IMITATIONS - Ebay doit s'améliorer rapidement vis à vis des vendeurs (notification détaillée dans le descriptif comme il se doit)
Aujourd'hui, pour ce type de vente la description est : voir le titre de la vente... donc pas d'informations pertinantes pour l'acheteur
mais par contre concernant le blabla des envois et paiements en plus, très fort !!! alors là c'est écrit en couleur centré gras... (un lien d'une ligne vers les explications de vente / expédition / livraison / douanes... qu'Ebay pourrait faire serait suffisant)

Pour la petite histoire :
Suite à un achat de plus de 350 euros d'une soit disant pierre brute naturelle , j'ai reçu un truc qui ressemblait à la photo mais qui était une IMITATION (plastique, verre ou résine... je ne sais pas ... mais en tout cas pas de la pierre brute naturelle)
De ce fait j'ai signalé à Ebay ce problème et leur décision/réponse : "Nous avons examiné votre signalement et n'avons constaté aucune violation de notre politique. Cette décision a été prise par un agent du service client.
"AUCUNE VIOLATION DE NOTRE POLITIQUE" ????????????
Quelle est leur politique ?

Sur le site Ebay, des spécimens de pierres peuvent couter plus de 10000 euros...

Delivery company said my package go damaged beyond repair but yet eBay won’t release my money back to me for another 5 days when I’ve paid for it 3 weeks ago. Saying they are giving seller 5 days to reply but seller doesn’t have my money and never had until it’s delivered which it’s never going to be

I wouldn't recommend eBay I ordered boots it's tuck weeks to get them and the were terrible bad no good I ordered slingshot bands and after sending me a tracking number it said delivered I didn't get them then they told me the couldn't ship them oh it's a big joke and my refund I was down 8 euros for nothing so no and most of the stuff they have is dirt fake sellers

I bought an item worth 750 euros from a seller which turned out to be a scammer.

In a message he sent was "mention incentive, offer some free product and prolong the warranty".

While talking over the chat i was also trying to get a phone call, first time it asked me if i wish to get a call back, 20minutes wait time, and hour later bo phone call.

Im calling and waiting for 2 hours straigh, no answer

Finally, got on chat support( lasted over an hour) and there is nothing they can do.

By consumer protection law, buying good online in Ireland we are protected by 14 days cool off period, which ebay seems to ignore.

All in all, I bought an item at 2pm, cancel request sent at 2.32pm, seller responded couple of times trying to reassure me to keep on the sale, and after being persistent on cancelling, seller stopped responding.

Now I have to wait for a bit over a month to open a dispute and get money back.
