Fantastic products and service
I bought two of the black Nero display bookcase cabinets online - firstly, the products are amazing. MUCH MUCH better than I expected and I love them. The communication on delivery was immediate and accurate. I was kept informed up to the day and SMS on the day advising of delivery time. The delivery guys were super careful and polite 10/10. I’m so sick of this company
I’m so sick of this company. This is the 3rd time I’ve been messed around by them. Waited over 6 months for a coffee table and now it’s 3 months for a coat stand. Over the last 2 weeks I’ve sent 6-8 emails to their support and had no reply. This company is an absolute joke. I don’t even want the item anymore, I’m just going to write it off as stolen. I’d previously deleted a bad review over the 6 month wait for the coffee table and talking to the lady that works in store after she reached out to me but absolutely nothing has improved. The customer service IS the worst of any company in New Zealand. These guys need to be ashamed of themselves. I can’t believe any person would want to work for such a dishonest company.
Please avoid, every early settler is the same if you look at the reviews of each store around NZ please keep reporting them to the commerce commission it’s the only way something will get done.

Horrendous company, avoid!
I ordered two beds which said on the website they were in stock. Seven days later had not received any news on shipping, so called them. They said they'd contact the warehouse and let me know. 24 hours passes, nothing yet. I call again, they said they'd call the next day. Nothing again. I call and insist they let me know what's happening and the finally say, "Oh actually I can see your address isn't able to be couriered to, so we can refund you the shipping and you can pick it up." Okay, fine. She said they need to send the beds though from Victoria (I'm in QLD). That'll take up to 10 business days. In the whole eight days since I placed my order, the beds didn't move! And it took me three calls to find out what was happening!! No communications from them. I cancelled my order, and ordered new beds from Temple and Webster. They gave me a shipping notification within 12 hours of placing my order. Save your energy and shop elsewhere, this company is a joke.

As always, the quality of furniture at Early Settler is very high, and the prices are very low! My customer experience, getting my sofas sent to Darwin, was so easy! Anisa was fantastic to deal with!
Anisa from the customer service team in Melbourne is the reason for this score, she was the most helpful, friendly and professional person I’ve dealt with in a very long time. I had been into stores multiple times over the previous two weeks and was (probably unrealistically) wanting to get an outdoor table that was ‘in stock’ but was told it was 2+ weeks delivery time to get it to me in Adelaide. I called the head office and asked what the chances are I’d be able to courier it privately and get it before Christmas. I even offered to pay full price to buy the display model in store, ANISA who I spoke to over the phone spoke to the store, spoke to the warehouse and tried everything she could to try and get me the table before Christmas. She followed up with me multiple times and as we speak it is on a truck on its way to Adelaide and I will be getting my table tomorrow morning.
She went above and beyond to try and help get my query resolved and made sure I was updated every step of the way. I am so thankful for Anisa and I hope you are well recognised for your efforts towards customer service.

We purchased the Kadara table and bench…
We purchased the Kadara table and bench seats. After a few days, the glue used for assembling the table started coming unstuck. Contacted Early Settlor and they were really helpful, providing options of compensation or replacement. Alison was very easy to deal with and helpful and responsive.
