I had an issue with some gift tokens. Customer support were extremly helpfull and sorted out the e-delivery issue straight away. A shout-out to Jhonel for this.

Recently purchased something online and product said “new stock in warehouse in one week”. Once I went through the checkout stage suddenly the stock changed to “new stock in warehouse in 5 weeks”. Had I have known that I would have sourced similar from another seller. Next time, if I really like a product I’ll be calling them directly. Surely there are laws against misleading customers in this way? I wonder how retail outlets are getting away with this…

Laura helped me to change my order and organised the refund even though the invoice system was down at the time I called. However, she managed to process the change and informed me once it was up running. Ordered a dining table on Black Friday sales, it said it was going to be a bit of a wait for stock. Stock was due mid January but kept getting pushed back until end of February. But the biggest issues was the collection warehouse on the north side in Brisbane has the most ridiculous opening hours. Wed/Thu/Fri 9am-2pm or Saturday 7am-11:45am. Made it almost impossible for me to collect without having a day off work or kids sports to do so.
Staff were aware of my concerns and were not accomodating at all. If I couldn't pick it up during those hours I was to pay $110 delivery fee but still had to be home and available in those house for delivery.

I placed my order on March 2nd, I knew that a couple of the items were on back order but was told that I could collect the rest of my order from my selected store. After waiting a couple of weeks I contacted Early settler by email, I was told the store would contact me to arrange collection of my partial order. still nothing, so I called customer service on Tuesday April 7th and was told my order would be in store on Wednesday 8thApril. I still hadn't heard anything by this afternoon (Thursday 9th April) so called the store and apparently deliveries this week have been cancelled due to Easter and "if" my order is delivered to the store next week they will text me! I tried to call customer service again and there is a recorded message on a loop until eventually it is disconnected. My bathroom renovation is due to be finished tomorrow. This is my first and certainly my last Early settler order

Went into the new store at Tauriko in Tauranga. Usually staff are friendly when it's a new store but not once did any of the three staff members who looked at me and carried on ask if I needed help. Wasn't busy at all. One said hello and walked past me and the other two said nothing. Wanted to buy two shelves but will order online or go to the Auckland store where the staff are helpful. Won't shop here and won't be recommending it.

I had an issue with the fixings on one of the mirrors i purchased.
The customer service team made it very easy to resolve the issue without any fuss, making me feel very safe to purchase again from Early Settler, knowing they have my back if there is a problem.

I purchased this couch just over 12 months ago, for the last six months the back cushion has been sagging significantly, with normal use. I’ve never experienced a couch do this before. When I zipped it open to have a look inside it’s basically filled with pillow stuffing and not a foam. I would’ve thought Eureka furniture would have better quality to be honest, very disappointing. It looks terrible after such a short time

We had a table which started splitting - this was out of their control. But what I thought would’ve a stressful experience getting this sorted, was actually straight forward. So I am very happy.

Placed an order for a wall unit online for my elderly mother. I received an email saying their team will contact me shortly to arrange a delivery date and time that will suit and then tracking details. Nobody contacted us so we assumed they had to wait for more stock & would call when it arrived. I also had a note on the order that we were happy to pay extra for installation and removal of packaging.
Then 10 days later the truck unexpectedly just turned up at her door. Luckily the gates to the complex were open and luckily she was home. The driver had apparently been trying to ring me that day but had been given the incorrect mobile number. The delivery drivers were efficient and polite according to Mum.
I emailed Early Settler to enquire why we were never contacted after I placed the order. 7 days later they answered my email, saying that they sent a txt message to arrange delivery - this was never received - maybe they sent it to the incorrect number? Why didn't they try to ring or email me?
I replied to their email 5 days ago to inform them that I did not receive any txt and they have not answered that email so clearly they do not value repeat business.

Ordered a fireplace but after hubby checked my measurements realised it would not fit. Early next day I sent an email cancelling the order and requesting a refund. A few hours later received a message to say my order was at the warehouse and I would get notified when it was ready at the collection point. Was concerned and went on line to try and sort out the problem. Was told by the automessenger that my order had been despatched from the warehouse 2-3 days earlier (impossible as it was only order a day before)and there would be a 20% cancellation fee. THEN spoke to customer service Jhonel who listened, apologised and had the whole refund in my account within minutes. Thank you Jhonel you were a delight to speak to and understood my dilema and sorted it all out with a courteous, pleasant manner.

There was a mishap with my order and I was originally quite upset. However I spoke with Laura and Amelia and they worked together to find me a solution that added value to my order. It was a really great comeback and gained my confidence again. Laura pushed to help achieve this behind the scenes and was very professional the whole time. Thanks so much team! Appreciate it :)
